A long time ago in a galaxy far,

far away...

Utapau. Obi-Wan's battle with General Grievous has brought the two combatants onto the landing platform where Grievous's starfighter rests. Grievous picks up the Jedi and bodily hurls him toward the edge of the cliff. Kenobi makes a desperate grab for the cliff's edge, calling on the Force for assistance, but he has just a little too much momentum. His hand missing the edge by mere millimeters, Obi-Wan falls off the platform and into the water at the bottom of the sinkhole far below. Grievous boards his fighter and soars off toward space. With Boga's aid, Obi-Wan extracts himself from the sinkhole and notifies Cody, hoping that the fleet above Utapau can intercept Grievous before he enters hyperspace. Unfortunately, the droid general blows past the hastily formed blockade and makes his escape.

Because Kenobi has been delayed by his fall, back on Coruscant Mace Windu is still waiting in the Jedi comm center for word from Utapau about Grievous when Anakin bursts in to inform Windu of Palpatine's true identity. Mace tells Anakin to remain in the Temple and promptly takes Kit Fisto, Saesee Tiin, and Agen Kolar with him to arrest the Chancellor. Having failed in his mission, Obi-Wan attempts to contact Windu to inform him of Grievous's escape. Instead, he finds a distraught Anakin in the comm center and tries to console him and find out what's wrong. Naturally, Obi-Wan is shocked beyond words to hear that Palpatine is likely the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. But Anakin's distress indicates that something more is troubling him, so Obi-Wan probes Anakin for more.

Anakin's pride and desire to keep secret his forbidden love had previously prevented him from telling his former Master of his relationship with Padmé. (Obi-Wan is not dense, though, and knows, or at least suspects, their involvement with one another.) However, Anakin, in his fragile state, finally reveals to Obi-Wan his relationship with Padmé, his fear for her death during childbirth as in his vision, and his belief that Palpatine's Sith knowledge may be her only savior. Obi-Wan tells Anakin that the Sith are nothing but treachery and lies and that Palpatine is playing Anakin, most likely using his fear of Padmé's death to turn him to the dark side and replace Dooku as his apprentice. This plants a seed of doubt in Anakin, who, however reluctantly, begins to recognize the possibility of Obi-Wan's claim. Still unsure whether to trust his friend Palpatine or Obi-Wan and the Jedi, Anakin tears off after Windu to either help or stop him, leaving Obi-Wan talking to a dead line.

Anakin arrives at the Chancellor's Office to find three Jedi Masters down and Mace alone clashing swords with Palpatine. When Mace appears to have Palpatine on the ropes, with his saber at the Sith Lord's throat, Anakin realizes there is a choice he must make. Obi-Wan's words echo in his head, and, as he ignites his lightsaber, Anakin asks Palpatine rhetorically: "You can't really help her, can you?" The Sith Lord, suddenly realizing Anakin has chosen the Jedi (something he least expected), issues forth a tremendous burst of Force lightning, knocking Mace and Anakin back into the office. Both Jedi partially block the attack with their swords, and then combine their powers, using the Force to shove Palpatine away. The Chancellor sails through the open window and plummets into the darkness below.

Anakin is too dazed and stunned to do much of anything at this point. Mace calls for medical aid for the fallen Jedi Masters and informs security of Palpatine's fall. Mace and Anakin are willingly taken into custody as the search begins for Palpatine's body in the streets beneath the building. With Republic security unsure of whom to trust, Vice Chancellor Mas Amedda is also taken into custody until things can be sorted out. This leaves him unable to issue Order 66, if indeed Amedda even knew of the Chancellor's identity as a Sith and his plan to decimate the Jedi Order. The Jedi cooperate fully with authorities and make no move to seize the apparatus of government. A long and thorough sweep of the surrounding area turns up not a trace of the Chancellor, leaving all in doubt as to his whereabouts.

The fallout from the battle in the Chancellor's Office has only just begun....

How to Play
Welcome everyone to my first attempt at creating a Star Wars experience! Inspired by previous Star Wars game hosts, Tapscott and Noco19, Guardians of Peace will be orientated around a mixture of roleplay, player interaction and choices, mini's and the likes all set in the most tumultuous period of the Galactic Republic: the Clone Wars. In-character (IC) posts will be the most important way to influence story, but I will also provide mini's for extra flavor and feel.

Signing Up

The first steps to joining will be to fill out one of the character sheets below (depending on who, what you are, etc.). You can of course play a character from the timeline, but I reserve discretion as to whom I give who to. Without further adieu here's the format:

Force Sensitive

Name: That guy
Age: Bear it in mind with your race
Race: Whatever you wanna be
Rank (if part of the Jedi Order): Padawan/Knight/Master
Fighting Technique: There's a whole bunch
Biography: Born, became a teenager, etc.

Non-Force Sensitive

Name: That new guy
Age: Bear it in mind with your race
Race: Whatever you wish
Occupation: Cantina Owner
Biography: Born, became an adult, etc.

IRC Channel

The official channel shall be #StarWars

Link: Coldfront

Game Mechanics

As far as statistics go I will not be including player statistics for now, but I will be including important elements for the major factions (and any new ones should they form), such as the numbers of the Grand Army of the Republic, Separatist Army as well as their respective navies. I do feel they are important and should hold some weight as the conflict is still very much alive at this point.

As far as orders and the likes go I will allow them for any big events (ie. a battle, a campaign, a political move, etc.) and post a mini with the effects and the likes. Otherwise that for now I do not intend for any yearly update or so and will instead progress time in as best a manner as I can.

General Guidelines
  • No metagaming, powergaming, etc.
  • Keep it PG-16. I don't mind some romantic elements and gritty stuff, but don't go overboard.
  • Our Graceful Overlords at Paradox Interactive and their rules apply.
  • And a whole bunch of other stuff.

Name: Kyman ras Shevit
Age: 28
Race: Kaleesh
Occupation: Separatist Warlord
Biography:

Born on the eastern hemisphere of Kalee to a lesser tribe, Kyman ras Shevit was raised in the period of the great Kolkpravis times, when the Kaleesh of the East united in a grand army to combat the vile Huk raiders. From the Kolkpravis came a myriad of warlords, most notably Qymaen jai Sheelal - now known as Grievous - whom Kyman's family fought alongside. Proud of his people's fight against insectoid tyranny, Kyman participated in a number of battles and attacks as a youth of 13, though some would say these were moreso attacks against civilians and war crimes, a mindset not exactly shared by the Kaleesh, who suffered enslavement, desecration, and murder at the hands of Huk warriors.

When the Republic sided with the Huk and imposed harsh sanctions on Kalee, Kyman and his family were hard hit, reduced to poverty. In this desperation, the rise of the Separatist movement offered liberation, and Kyman eagerly joined, seeing it as a way to prove himself as a true warrior, and to provide aid to his family. Over time, Kyman quickly demonstrated himself to be an able warlord, leading a number of raiding parties and oft-frowned-upon attacks during the initial days of the Clone Wars. Kyman himself helped in the massacre of the Huk colonists on Tovarski, commanding a detachment of droids and fervent Kaleesh warriors.

Prior to the Battle of Utapau, Kyman ras Shevit went into the shadows, operating as a dagger into the Republic, likely involved in a number of raids and terrorist attacks in the name of the CIS. Now re-emerging and flocking to the aid of the fleeing Grievous, Kyman ras Shevit stands as a prominent warlord of the Separatist cause, now however with a far more political desire. Although tight-lipped on the political scene, it is whispered that ras Shevit seeks more power and representation, both for himself and the Kaleesh people given their outstanding role in securing the survival of the CIS.

Name: Gurac Denivop
Age: 41
Race: Human
Occupation: CIS Senator
Biography: A native of Raxus Secondus, the capital of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Denivop is a career politician. While he was supportive of efforts to reduce the power of the Republic and increase the autonomy of individual planets, he was reluctant to support military action against the Republic. With his planet firmly committed to this course however, he felt he had no choice but to support the cause fully. In the early days it seemed the right decision had been made, but as the war dragged on, and it became increasingly clear that power lay with the Separatist Council of corporate leaders and the military dictators of Dooku then Grievous, support for the Separatist cause waned. The politically incapable Parliament of elected representatives became increasingly upset at the course of the war, which seemed to grow only worse with the death of Count Dooku and the flight of General Grievous. Denivop is at the forefront of a group of senators who seek to restructure the Separatist hierarchy, to give the Parliament greater powers, with which it will seek a negotiated peace with the Republic.

Name: Anakin Skywalker
Age: 23
Race: Human
Rank (if part of the Jedi Order): Jedi Knight
Fighting Technique: Master of both Form V techniques, skills in many other techniques, including Shien and Jar'Kai
Biography: Born 23 years ago to his mother, Shmi Skywalker. He was eventually found by Qui-Gon Jinn when he landed on Tattooine, Anakin took a liking to him, as well as the girl travelling with the jedi. Anakin agreed to help them, which made him enter into a pod racing contest which he won, gaining his new friends the spare parts for the ship that they needed. Qui-Gon felt that Anakin had a strong connection to the force, and when he tested him, he discovered that his connection was much stronger than any known Jedi, including master Yoda, in fact so strong that it went off the scale. This resulted in Qui-Gon wanting Anakin, wanting to train him as he believed he was the chosen one.

Qui-Gon took Anakin as his padawan, against the judgement of the council, Qui-Gon however died shortly afterwards in battle against a Sith on Naboo. Anakin was then taken under the guidance of Obi-Wan Kenobi, who became his Jedi Master, teaching him all that he could. As Anakin trained, he always had Padmé in the back of his mind, never forgetting her. Anakin showed good progress, and despite being accepted late into the order, he advanced quickly, truly showing his potential. Shortly before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan and Anakin was sent to protect Senator Amidala. Anakin managed to save her life from a bounty hunter, and Obi-Wan was sent off to hunt down the bounty hunter, while Anakin was assigned to protect Padmé. During this time Anakin’s feelings grew stronger, and so did Padmés, eventually making them fall in love. Anakin himself became very conflicted about his feelings for her, and his duties as a Jedi, but in the end he couldn’t stop it.

It was also during this time that Anakin began having nightmares about his mother, fearing her death making him travel back home to Tatooine. When he arrived he found his mother had remarried, and gone missing. Anakin set off to find her, eventually managing to locate her and finding her as she was dying, exchanging a few words. Her death made Anakin lose control as rage and anger overtook him, making him slay all the Tusken people with no care for women, children or other defenseless Tuskens.

Following a message from Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padmé travelled to Geonosis where they were captured with Obi-Wan. Sent to fight in an arena with beasts as their execution, they were saved when the Jedi came to their aid, resulting in a battle within the arena. As the battle turned against the Jedi, being unable to win against the vast numbers of droids, the newly constructed Clone Army came to their aid under the command of Master Yoda. This became the first battle of the Clone Wars, where Anakin and Obi-Wan engaged Count Dooku. While Obi-Wan suffered minor injuries, then Anakin took a far worse hit, resulting in the loss of the lower part of his arm. They were saved by the timely intervention of Master Yoda, but Dooku nevertheless got away.
Following the battle, Anakin and Padmé were married in secret to all, thus breaking the Jedi code.

As the Clone wars began in full, then Anakin was made a Jedi knight and a general in the war. He proved highly capable as a general, winning many battles across the galaxy, earning galactic renown for his skills as a Jedi, General and pilot. While his tactics have often been questionable, experimental and dangerous, then his results speak for themselves.

It was also during the Clone Wars that he got his first Padawan named Ashoka who Anakin became close with. When she eventually left the Order due to disputes with the Council, Anakin became greatly saddened as well as angry at the council.

During the battle of Coruscant, Anakin and Obi-Wan was sent to rescue Chancellor Palpatine. When they found him, they were encountered by Count Dooku, in the following duel Obi-Wan was knocked out, leaving Anakin alone against the Count. Anakin eventually overpowered him and with Palpatine pushing him, he decapitated Dooku despite original protests.

Following the battle, he was welcomed by his wife when the others had left, giving him the news that she was pregnant and he was to be a father. Anakin was happy of the news, while his wife had her doubts as it would prove keeping their marriage hard, then Anakin only looked at it positively.

Not long after he began having nightmares, seeing Padmé’s death just like he saw his mother’s three years earlier. Anakin began to panic, seeking help first by going to Yoda, who gave advise that Anakin was less than pleased by. Eventually Palpatine sensed it was time for him to reveal his knowledge, slowly feeding it to Anakin. Palpatine also fed into Anakin’s desire for advancement and recognition, getting him onto the Jedi council, further enraging Anakin when the council refused to give him the rank of master. Anakin in turn began to listen, getting turned more and more without his awareness. Anakin eventually put together all the pieces and discovered Palpatine to be the Sith Lord they were looking for.

Following this he went to the council and told them. As Master Windu went to confront Palpatine, Anakin was told to stay back. Obi-Wan eventually reported in, finding Anakin in a mess, Anakin could no longer keep up his lies and his façade, and told his master all. Obi-Wan then spoke with his Padawan, telling him the Sith promises was nothing but lies and deceit. Anakin eventually went to Palpatine, just as Windu had disarmed him, as Palpatine begged Anakin for help and Windu was getting ready to strike Palpatine down. Anakin looked at Palpatine and said he couldn’t help Padmé. Palpatine hadn’t expected this, turning on Anakin and Windu. Anakin and Windu working together unleashed a heavy Force Push, sending Sidious through the and into the capital underworld, his fate unknown.

Anakin himself was broken, he had been loyal, loyal to a fault to his friends, his master, the Jedi and most important his wife, who he had been willing to risk embracing the Dark Side to save. Most importantly however, Anakin’s spirit was broken, his last hope to save his wife was gone with the realization of Palpatine’s deceit, the one person who he loved the most, who was pregnant with his child, was doomed to die. Anakin had done what was right, but at what cost, he had no strength to fight, and as they came to arrest him and Windu, he offered no resistance. While Sidious may be on the run for now, then Anakin and his fears are stronger than ever, the life of his wife having been his center thoughts during the last few days in prison.

((I guess there is a lot more backstory, and feel free to read his wiki page as I spent the last few days doing xD))

Name: General Grievous
Race: Cybernetic Kaleesh
Rank: Supreme Commander of the Confederacy
Fighting Technique: Master of all Seven forms of Lightsaber Combat
Biography: General Grievous was not always a cyborg, he was once a Kaleesh warrior on his homeworld of Kalee. He showed his fighting prowess, as through the alliance of Archduke Poggle the Lesser and Dooku, they chose to rebuild him on the planet of Geonosis. Some say the General is a pawn of the Confederacy, but he chose his change, and he now wears it as if was his own skin.

Very little of the old warrior remains, except for his tenacity. Dooku trained Grievous in the Lighsaber arts, and he quickly became the greatest student the old Master had trained.. Perhaps even surpassing Dooku himself. During the Clone Wars, he was made Commander of their Forces by his master, and chose the ship Malevolence as his own. Although not force-sensitive himself, he had great aspirations, and his ruthlessness and genius led him to defeat several Jedi in personal combat. This, and his personal execution of hundreds of clone troopers, led him to be feared across the entire Galaxy.

His primary goal was to cause havoc, and try to cripple the Republic machine, laid out very clearly to him by Count Dooku, and his mysterious master, who had promised them glory and power like no other. Grievous worked as their hound, and destroyed any target he came across, his attacks on Kamino and the capital of Coruscant being prime examples of his cutthroat, and dangerous tactics. The loss of Count Dooku, and how his archenemy Kenobi and his clone troopers led Grievous over the edge, other powers were working against the Confederacy, but he could not dawn on that right there.

In Pau city, Obi-wan Kenobi confronted Grievos and challenged him to hand-to-hand combat, engaging the flamboyance and grandeur that the General is so known for, he accepted, and they battled despite Kenobi's surefire death should the droid army turn on him. The battle seemed locked, the Jedi Master one of the most defensive the order has ever known, while Grievous was a literal attacking machine. Nothing could make him relent, or retreat, besides several thousand Clone Troopers storming the city and his position.. The Separatist council had to be removed from the fight, and Grievous could not finish off Kenobi, no, he had to retreat. Such a loss to his enemy darkened his black heart, but he had a duty to his Master to uphold the confederacy, no matter the costs. With the death of the Chancellor, what the general is Doing, or where he is hiding is entirely unknown to the Republic.

Name: Viceroy Nute Gunray
Age: 63
Race: Neimoidian
Occupation: Head of the Separatist Council

Biography: Nute Gunray was born on Neimoidia to one of the leading merchant families on the planet. He grew up in luxury learning the arts of intrigue and board room politics. He became involved with the Trade Federation and soon rose through the ranks of the corporation. He was disgusted by the regulations and corruption that held the company back and his views began to radicalize against the Republic.
Gunray led the Trade Federation through its invasion of Naboo a skirmish which precipitated the Civil War, The Federation invasion was repelled and Gunray was arrested, but he avoided prison after four trials in the Supreme Court.

Ten years later, Gunray had become a member of the Separatist Alliance, pledging Federation military support for the impending war against the Galactic Republic. After the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Gunray was an influential member of the Separatist leadership, and attempted to bring worlds such as Rodia into the Separatist cause. As the war neared its second year he was elected Viceroy of the Seperatist Council and took charge of the Separatist civilian leadership. Although the Confederation is on the defensive with the survival of Grevious in his duel against Kenobi many Seperatist leaders believe there is still hope for their cause.

Name: Amadeus Organa
Age: 54
Race: Human
Occupation: Commodore of the Republic (in command of a Venator-class Star Destroyer and 5 accompanying frigates)
Biography: The third cousin to Bail Organa, Amadeus became naval officer in the Republic Navy at a very young age. He spent much time on Coruscant and Alderaan in order to learn the finer points of naval warfare. He served as a Captain of a Republic Frigate during the beginning battles of the Clone Wars and served with great distinction during the Battle of Muunilisnt. Thus he was promoted to Commodore and took command of his Venator-class Star Destroyer, the Andromeda. Commodore Organa and the Andromeda destroyed a large amount of CIS ships above Coruscant in the Battle of Coruscant, but Organa is concerned that the CIS will ready themselves for a long war of attrition. He favors a quick strike to destroy the Seperatists before they can pull together their remaining resources.

Name: CC-2224, nicknamed Commander "Cody"

Age: 12(24 in development)
Race: Human Clone
Occupation: Clone Marshall Commander in the Republic Army, aide to General Kenobi, head of 212th Attack Battalion
Biography:

Overview:
Like every other clone trooper, Cody was born and trained on the planet Kamino to serve as a soldier of the Republic. He was under the command of Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and frequently fought alongside him, developing mutual trust and camaraderie between the two as they fought alongside each other. Although Cody was not involved in the first battle of Geonosis, he took part in the Battle of Teth, Second Battle of Geonosis, Battle for Anaxes and other battles during the Clone Wars, including the Battle of Utapau. He also managed to gain a commander's title and command of the 212th Attack Battalion, which has fought by his side in many battles.

Service record(taken from wookiepedia):

Cody was involved in the battle against a massive Separatist invasion of Christophsis and fought alongside Generals Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. They were able to find a traitor amongst the clones, a clonetrooper sergeant called Slick, who had sold their intelligence to Count Dooku's apprentice Asajj Ventress, which was the reason why the Jedi and clones were apprehended by the droids so easily. Meanwhile Anakin and Obi-Wan were fighting Ventress, Cody and Captain Rex were looking for Slick, who blew up numerous Republic AT-TEs and weapons, but was eventually captured by the couple, while the battle droids gained reinforcements.

After some time from this, Cody was helping to defeat the first wave of droids commanded by General Whorm, that were trying to break the Republic's defense by destroying their heavy cannons, but eventually were forced to retreat by the Separatist tanks getting overwhelmed by the cannons. However, after a short pause in the fighting and padawan Ahsoka Tano becoming Skywalker's apprentice, Whorm was able to set up a rayshield that protected the tanks and droids from the heavy cannon fire. Skywalker and Tano were tasked to take down the shield while Cody, Rex, Kenobi and the clones were trying to hold off the enemy as long as they could, with Kenobi getting captured and stalling the Separatist general by discussing the surrender in a civilized manner. Right before Whorm had enough of the playing and ordered Kenobi to surrender, Skywalker and Tano were able to take down the shield, allowing the cannons to tear the tanks apart, and Whorm being distracted by this, Kenobi was able to take him as a hostage, ending the battle as Republic victory.

After the Battle of Cristophsis, Cody and his 212th Battalion accompanied by General Kenobi were tasked to defend the 501st Legion, General Skywalker and his apprentice during their mission to extract and bring Jabba the Hutt's son Rotta back to him, who was kidnapped and brought to a Separatist controlled prison on Teth.

When Cody and Rex were dispatched to inspect the Rishi moon station, they were welcomed by what looked liked to be a clone trooper, but infact was a commando droid disguised as a clone. It tried to get rid of the two by sending them away with their ship, but was discovered to be a droid by the droids' usual way of saying 'roger, roger' and by a droid attack flare shot by surviving clones called Heavy, Echo and Fives. Rex realized the reason for the odd behaviour and he shot the droid, shocking Cody. They were caught in an ambush set up by the droids in case the disguised droid failed to send the clones away, and the droids proceeded to throw thermal detonators towards the clones. The explosion managed to destroy their shuttle, but the clones were able to survive by hanging from cables and landing safely on the ground. Later they met the survivors and encountered a Rishi eel that earlier ate Cutup, one of the survivors, which Rex shot and used its blue blood to tap an insignia onto Echo's armor. The group managed to take back the station and discovered the droids were sending an "all-good" signal to the unsuspecting Republic fleet and allowing General Grievous to attack Kamino and stop the clones' production once and for all. However, droid reinforcements arrived to the station and discovered a pack of clones had survived. The clones tried to deactivate the all-clear signal by destroying the station with tibanna liquid and explosives set off by remote detonation, but the detonator jammed, forcing Heavy to stay and fix it. Before he managed to fix the device, the droids made it to the inside. Heavy was able to hold the droids off as long as he could, eventually getting shot in the back. However, he was able to sacrifice himself by manually blowing the explosives up while the droids were distracted, stopping the all-clear signal and alerting a Republic fleet of Grievous' presence near Kamino. For this act, Rex promoted the last two survivors to the 501st legion.

After some time from the battle on Rishi moon, the Republic had intercepted a code hologram of Ventress and General Grievous planning an attack to Tipoca City, Kamino. Cody and Rex along with Generals Kenobi and Skywalker and the 501st legion were sent to reinforce General Ti's forces on Kamino. When General Grievous' droid fleet had arrived, Cody was overseeing the battle along with Masters Ti and Kenobi, Prime Minister Lama Su and few other clone officers, but later joined Rex, Echo, Fives and maintenance clone 99 when Ventress' aqua droids carried by Tridents had attacked Tipoca City from underwater. Cody later helped the other clones along with cadets to set up an ambush for Grievous and his droids that were clearing out barracks, while Kenobi engaged Grievous in a short duel. While the clones were battling the incoming droids, 99 tried to run back to the armory to resupply the clones whom Cody order to stop, but due to his slowness was ultimately shot in the back. After the droids all over Tipoca City were defeated with Grievous and Ventress fleeing, 99 was mourned, whom Cody called a true soldier. Later Fives and Echo were once again promoted to ARC Troopers.

Later in the war, Cody was sent to Ryloth to free the Twi'lek's from Techo Union leader and Separatist council member Watt Tambor's oppression. When General Skywalker and his apprentice Commander Tano were able to destroy the blockade surrounding the planet, Cody along with Generals Kenobi and Windu could make an almost safe landing onto the planet, but they were attacked by anti air guns which Windu tasked General Kenobi and the Ghost Company to have destroyed. Kenobi also told the clones that they came to aid the Twi'leks, not to destroy their homes.

Ki-Adi-Mundi
Age: 73
Race: Cerean
Rank: Jedi Master
Fighting Technique:
Soresu/Makashi
Biography: Mundi is a longtime member of the Jedi Order, being one of the few males from Cerea. His service to the Jedi Order began when "The Dark Woman", An'ya Kuro discovered his ability in the force older than the normal age, and brought him back to the Jedi Temple. Despite Mundi considering Kuro his "First Teacher" Jedi Master Yoda was assigned to train him at his relatively old age. Mundi trained under Master Yoda for a total of 21 years, with one of his early assignments being that of freeing his home planet of the criminals that plagued it. Having succeeded and due to his species low birthrate Mundi was permitted to have a family under the condition that he may not form attachments with his wives. These marriages resulted in Mundi having a total of eight daughters though having a lack of attachment proved a difficult task following the destruction of Cerea by the Separatists. For Mundi's extraordinary service to the Order he was promoted to the rank of Jedi Master. Mundi is an integral part of the Jedi order, providing a wise and experienced voice to the Jedi Council.

Emir Wat Tambor
Age: 55
Race: Skakoan
Position: CIS Councillor, Foreman of the Techno Union and Executive of Baktoid Armor Workshop

Bio:

A member of the Crimlin Clan born on Skako, Wat Tambor let his home world at a young age, travelling to Metalorn to pursue a career in industry and technology, which he would accomplish quite early on (proving to be a particularly gifted combat engineer). He was later made a representative for the Techno Union in the Galactic Senate. It was some ten years before the outbreak of the war that Wat Tambor became acquainted with Sheev Palpatine, representative from Naboo, who had proposed a compromise regarding a bill that would instigate taxation on trade routes (inspired due to the Dorvalla Incident some months before, which convinced many, including Supreme Chancellor Valorum, that the Republic navy needed modernisation and expansion). Though the proposed conference fell through, it nonetheless started a political relationship. More importantly, the following year saw Baktoid Armor Workshop come under greater scrutiny due to the Trade Federation’s blockade and invasion of Naboo using Baktoid droids, and was further hurt when the Federation was partially disarmed by the Republic following the incident.

Nevertheless, Tambor willingly followed the Trade Federation and other large corporate conglomerations in joining the nascent secessionist movement, which would soon be organised as the Confederacy of Independent Systems. He would henceforth serve as a member of the governing Separatist Council. At the request of Count Dooku and the other Councillors, he began covertly building an army for the growing separatist movement, fudging the budgets of his various industries and divvying the hidden profits to this project. Senator Lanus Wrede of Sermeria during this time quite aptly realised what Tambor was doing, though he was mocked and derided thoroughly by the press and later “committed suicide,” officially. Amongst his last acts as an official member of the Galactic Senate was to appear at a Refugee Relief Movement fundraiser only a scant few months before the outbreak of the war.

The loss of the secret droid manufacturing facility on Geonosis at the very outbreak of the war was significant to Tambor, but the battle had proven to be a worthwhile test of the B2 Super Battle Droid, and refinements were swiftly made by Tambor and Baktoid, culminating the release of the C-B3 Battle Droid (though they would not appear in significant numbers until the Coruscant Insurrection). However, the facility on Metalorn would come under risk of sabotage when Anakin Skywalker arrived, and though Tambor had by this point become sufficiently paranoid enough to hire the bounty hunter Vandalor to protect him, the bounty hunter was slain and Tambor was arrested, which would further retard the progress of integrating cortosis in battle droid armour.

Tambor was imprisoned on Delrian, though two Skakoan members of his staff were allowed to visit him; upon entering his cell, with the changeling Nuri (and privy to information about the facility provided by the Commerce Guild, who had both constructed the facility and staffed its security), the two staff members decompressed their pressure suits, and in the confusion allowed Nuri to escape with Tambor. The two staff members who sacrificed themselves were made heroes of the Confederacy, and lauded on the CIS Shadowfeed as testaments to the Separatist’s bravery and the Republic’s inadequacies.

After recovering, Tambor attempted to destabilise the Republic’s munition production, contacting Director General Lorca Oviedo of Oviedo Engineering, one of the chief providers for the Republic. Tambor then attempted to kill the Director and his clone escort whilst they were in transit to the meeting spot, though Oviedo had anticipated such an attack and escaped unharmed. After arriving on Asturias, Oviedo he was taken to speak with Tambor (who attended the meeting via hologram, for safety and political reasons, as well as due to the planet not being particularly favourable to Skakoans). He proposed sabotage to Republic supplies and munitions, which would both be profitable for Oviedo and beneficial to the CIS; he further explained that the "assassination attempt" would effectively give Oviedo clemency in the eyes of the Senate. However, the clone commando escort had overheard the conversation, and were able to extract Oviedo, but sustained heavy losses in the process. Tambor, desiring to leave no witnesses, ordered Oviedo and the escorts killed, though they managed to escape. Oviedo, however, was grievously injured during the flight, and would die shortly after reaching Coruscant.

Following this, Tambor and the leader of the Commerce Guild, Shu Mai, were invited by Queen Miraj Scintel to Zygerria, which had recently allied itself with the Confederacy, to an auction there wherein the entire population of the Kiros Togrutan colony was to be sold into slavery. During the auction, the Queen interrupted it to show a captured Obi-Wan Kenobi to the crowd. Immediately on guard, he was not impressed by the Queen’s assurances that there was nothing to worry about; his concerns were confirmed when Anakin Skywalker and his apprentice Ahsoka Tano, disguised as slavers, emerged. He and Shu Mai fled the planet.

Shortly thereafter, Tambor opted to move against fellow Councillor Argente, the Magistrate of the Corporate Alliance, and aware that Argente distrusted him, used the Koorivar's mistrust to his own advantage. Knowing that Argente would seek out a spy droid to utilize against Tambor from the dealer Gha Nachkt, Tambor paid Nachkt to sell a spy droid to the Koorivar, which went as predicted. Tambor tuned into the droid's frequency, allowing the Foreman to directly spy on Argente and track his movements across the galaxy.

Tambor, though often relegated to subterfuge, diplomacy, bureaucracy, and his passion of combat engineering, also partook in some military operations; for instance whilst Tambor tracked Argente's movements, the Koorivar traveled to the Outer Rim planet Ryloth, where he hid a vast fortune. Tambor then ordered his personal T-series tactical droid, TA-175, to move Ryloth to the highest priority for a Confederate invasion; he placed Captain Mar Tuuk in command of the Confederate fleet, whilst he made headquarters for himself in Ryloth's capital city, Lessu. Tambor also placed tactical droid TX-20 in charge of the Confederate proton cannons stationed in the city of Nabat. The Republic would however launch an attack to relieve the planet, with forces under the command of Skywalker, Tano, Kenobi, and Mace Windu launching a multi-pronged attack, culminating in the destruction of TX-20 and the failure of Captain Tuuk. Count Dooku then, via holographic conference, ordered him to salvage what he could of the Twi'lek treasures on the planet and retreat before Windu arrived with his forces. Dooku also ordered Tambor to liquidate whatever he could of Ryloth, as the massacre would show the galaxy the "cost" of a Republic victory. To accomplish this, Tambor dispatched a squad of Hyena-class bombers – and, at TA-175's recommendation, an army of ground forces – to begin destroying several Twi'lek villages in the area. However, Windu soon enlisted the help of the Twi'lek leader Cham Syndulla and Ryloth's resistance against the Confederate oppression. Tambor decided to wait for the last of several Multi-Troop Transports hauling the treasures, despite Dooku's order to retreat and bomb Lessu. TA-175, too impatient to wait for his master, departed aboard Tambor's shuttle, and the Skakoan was left stranded just as the Republic forces arrived in the city. Windu cornered Tambor; however, Dooku was intent on eliminating Lessu, even with Tambor's life in jeopardy. The Confederate Head of State ordered TA-175 to continue with the bombers' attack, but the intervention of Skywalker and Tano in their fighters prevented the destruction of Lessu. Tambor surrendered and was taken into Republic custody.

Tambor escaped Republic captivity a second time, and would then conduct a campaign on the Techno Union would of Mustafar, before attempting to capture the frozen world of Orto Plutonia with TA-175 and a detachment of battle droids. However, his efforts were thwarted and Tambor was forced to retreat. Several other offensives were again stymied by the Jedi.

As the war drew ever onward, Tambor helped the Confederacy fortify their Outer Rim holdings, notably travelling to Xagobah, which was the location of a large fortress that he had designed. Whilst there, he wreaked havoc on the flora and fungi of the planet, making the area around the citadel a natural death-trap. However, the Republic was undeterred and General Glynn-Beti and her Padawan Ulu Ulix were dispatched, along with General Skywalker, with a sizable force of clone troopers to breach Tambor's defences, though the campaign soon transformed into a brutal and costly siege.

However, unknown to either Tambor or the Jedi, the Senate had placed bounties upon the various leaders of the Confederacy, with Jabba Desilijic Tiure acting as a fence for these bounties; he awarded the bounty to a young Boba Fett, who was eager to accept his first true bounty, despite the risks. Fett capitalised on an attempt by Tambor to break the siege and infiltrated the citadel. However, in spite of his unwieldy appearance, Tambor was more than able to defend himself, and lasted until Tambor summoned General Grievous who forced Fett to flee. However, the attack had rendered the citadel vulnerable and the Foreman and Grievous were compelled to retreat, which they did successful due to the help of Asajj Ventress.

On Metalorn, Tambor's troops had captured Jedi Master Shaak Ti, and in turn imprisoned her in the maximum security section of Metalorn's Unreal City. Shortly thereafter, Viceroy Bail Organa of Alderaan contacted Tambor, citing interest in applying Metalorn's infrastructure template to his homeworld. Meeting with Organa and his aides on Metalorn, he began giving the Viceroy a tour of the planet, spooling off facts and statistics about the economy of the system. Organa, however, expressed an interest in the prison facilities, which Tambor was only too happy to show off. Upon entry, however, Organa was able to pass a lightsaber to the captive Ti, allowing her to escape. Though Tambor called in droids to stop Ti and the Alderaanians, his efforts failed, and his adversaries escaped. As Organa's Tantive IV shot away from Metalorn, Tambor stood in a fit of rage, swearing revenge.

Name: Mace Windu
Age: 53
Race: Human (Korun)
Rank: Jedi Master
Fighting Technique: Vaapad, Master of all Seven Forms of Lightsaber Combat

Biography:

Mace Windu was born on Haruun Kal to Ghosh Windu Clan. The GHosh Windu were of the Korunnai race, a nomadic species genetically identical to other Human races save for the fact that every Korun was force sensitive. In Mace Windu's infancy, Jedi Anthropologists were studying this genetic anomaly. In order to further study the Korun, the Jedi asked if they might take Mace back to the Jedi temple for training. As his parents had been killed in the jungles of Haruun Kal, the Ghosh Windu gave the six month orphan to the Jedi for training.

Mace Windu showed himself to be a prodigious talent, discovering his innate ability to see Shatterpoints at an early age. These allowed him brief glimpses into the future...such as the legendary amethyst blade he would one day wield. At the age of fourteen, he traveled to the world of Hurikane where he underwent several trials to find the crystal which would form the core of his lightsaber.

For the next fifteen years, Mace proved himself repeatedly to the Jedi Order as an asset rising quickly through the ranks. As a Jedi Guardian, Mace mastered every Lightsaber form and developed his own form alongisde Sora Bulq. Vaapad, a variation of the ancient style Juyo, was an incredibly vicious style and required Windu to acknowledge and embrace both his own darkness and the darkness within his opponent.

Mace taught several apprentices and rose to the rank of Master. At the early age of twenty eight, he was offered a seat upon the Jedi Council. For the next few decades, Windu oversaw many missions and interacted with the development of several notable Jedi such as Obi-wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.

The Clone Wars would greatly test Windu's resolve and beliefs. Returning the title of Master of the Order to Yoda so that he might focus his attentions on the War, WIndu would prove his abilities once again on several notable occasions. Most especially the Battle of Dantooine where he and a small contingent of clone troopers held their own against overwhelming odds against a massive droid army. During the Clone Wars, Windu would also sufer the betrayal of Sora Bulq and his own former apprentice Depa Billaba to the Dark Side of the Force.

As the Clone War's progressed, WIndu and others among Council grew nervous over the looming darkness of the Sith Lord, Darth Sidious. When Anakin Skywalker approached Windu with the knowledge that Chancellor Palpatine was the Sith Lord, Windu took a small team of Jedi Masters to combat the Sith Lord. The other Masters were slain, but due to Vaapad Windu was able to hold his own against the powerful Sith Lord.

With the arrival of SKywalker, Windu recognized that Palpatine's shatterpoint was the trust the Sith had placed in Skywalker. Thankfully, Skywalker shattered that trust and the Sith Lord was forced to flee.

Now, Mace Windu is a Jedi Master conflicted deep within. His highest ideals...his -shatterpoint- was the Republic. The highest form of civilization and proponent of peace in the galaxy had been perverted and warped beyond all belief. His shatterpoint was cracked. Only time would tell whether those cracks would form an entirely new belief, solidify, or utterly destroy this powerful warrior.

Name: CC-7474-39 aka Knight
Age: Near physical prime due to growth acceleration.
Race: Human clone of Jango Fett
Occupation: Clone commando assigned to delta squad as Sev's replacement.

Biography:
Born on the planet of Kamino, he exceeded training expectations and was designated for commando training. When Clone Commando Sev was reported MIA during the battle of
Kashyyyk it was vital to keep the squad fully functional. CC-7474-39's training was rushed to a degree to get a new member into the Delta squad to have them combat ready as soon as possible. Scorch the demolition expert of Delta squadron nicknamed CC-7474-39 as Knight. As in their Knight in shinning armor, due to his crisp, clean, and untested white armor. Though slightly derogatory towards the new recruit Knight accepted the name and the shoes he was expected to fill. Scorch and Fixer seem to only see Knight as a temporary substitute for Sev until he is found.

Name: Ava Rathan
Age: 35
Race: Human
Occupation: Senator of the Republic
Biography: Born, became an adult, etc.

Whilst she was sold into servitude at a very young age, she was not (to her mind) treated especially poorly. She accepted her fate with calm serenity and likely would have lived the rest of her life in much the same fashion had she not been freed aged 15.

Freedom was not kind to her, and she lived in poverty until she was caught up in demonstrations against corrupt governance. Abhorring the violent mood of the crowd she spoke out and astonishingly, people listened. Perhaps inspired by her calm, emotive (and not especially logical) appeal the situation was diffused and shortly after she found herself elected to public office.

Weak-willed and vacillating, her political advancements have been due more to those who found her a useful pawn than to any talent on her part. Her lack of education only enhances her natural naivety and furthers her use as a political tool for anyone unscrupulous enough to use her. She is, however, capable of exuding a calm and statesman-like demeanour that leaves the impression of competence.
