On this grim day, the Kingdoms mourn. We mourn a great man, who would have made a great King, who fell because he was too trusting, because he valued oath over coin, because he thought everyone upheld honour as high as he did. Brienne of Tarth, the Beauty of Tarth, as they say, is claimed to be his murderer. This Monster has wronged the entire Realm, and darkened the future of all. But we mustn't let anger take over our principles, and she is entitled to defend herself. I hereby offer a bounty of 200 golden dragons to anyone who will bring Brienne of Tarth to me, and I promise I'll arrange a fair trial.
Is there anything to add? The shining hope of the Realm has died, and Highgarden, and my esteemed liege Mace Tyrell, are asked to join the war once more, when the body of our King is still warm. It seems decency died with Renly. The Arbor will follow its liege, whatever he decides to do. But I swear upon Renly's body that I won't betray his soul, Highgarden isn't for sale.
Regarding my sons, I hope they are well and ask to every man of honour to bring them back to safety, to me. To those who don't value honour, there's a reward too.
Paxter Redwyne, Lord of the Arbor
