A Prime Speech​

The Prime Minister looked down at his Palm cards, visually going over his notes prepared for his speech. Around him various orderlies and ministers went about their preparations. A small group of his assistants fiddled with the final touches on his suit, one even fixing up his tie. As he looked at the clock before him counting down before him, signalling that in two minutes he would be live to the entire nation, the Prime Minister pondered over his accomplishments: military reform, expansion, a position of power, nuclear warheads, a vastly improved economy, the isolation of mages with Notosia. Nobody could doubt that he had achieved much, yet hopefully this would be his last great achievement, one that would live the name Shaun Brandis in history for eternity as the father of a Notosian Superpower.


“We’re on in 5…”

The sharp countdown from the television crew leader snapped the Prime Minister back to attention as the light above the large camera pointed at him switched from offline to ON AIR in big red letters, He paused, inhaled looked towards the autocue and began his speech.


“As many citizens of our great state are no doubt aware, today I in accordance with the chief of staffs and many of my ministers, have felt the need to launch not only a nuclear strike against the people of the Sphere but also follow up with an Air, land and sea invasion by our own Armed Forces.


Our initial reports state that the main objective of the Strike was met, the successful destruction of the enemy’s naval infrastructure and potentially several of their naval ships. In addition I am proud to announce that 4million of the filthy subhumans of the Sphere have been killed in the strikes.


Even as we speak our Army, Navy and Airforce move to eliminate and destroy the hostile forces of the sphere, and it is my belief that they will do everything in their power to not only end this war, quickly and violently, but successfully secure the defense of the Notosian People: the true human and our way of life.”


the PM paused, checking over the autocue.


“For those of your within our Commonwealth questioning the need for such actions, I will run through a few facts for you:

Fact: The Commonwealth of Notosia only developed Nuclear weapons with the intention of self-defence

Fact: The Sphere signed an arms deal which encouraged the free movement and use of multiple different classes of WMD’s including Biological and Nuclear weapons, while securing themselves safety from retaliation

Fact: The Sphere supports the abomination that is magic

Fact: Our friends in the scientifically enlightened technocracy, faced mass espionage and sabotage from the Sphere

Fact: The sphere is working in league with other non-notosian peoples to bring down the rightful Notosian way of life and culture.


again he paused this time giving a long look towards the camera, as if questioning every Notosian that sat behind it watching the speech.


“As I, Shaun Brandis, your Prime Minister and most importantly a proud citizen of this great nation have shown you through these facts. The Sphere is an aggressive power that seeks to not only further its own goals and form itself into a regional power. It associated with the worst types of dregs in society, Heathman, Non-Notosians and Mages. Furthermore the Sphere through its aggressive actions seek to eliminate our culture and our history from the face of this planet until our ashes are scattered to the wind. In this situation can one not say it is the duty of every Notosian citizen to fight for their country and work to destroy the Sphere, but that any who does not is a traitor to the country. The Sphere are a cancerous tumor that must be destroyed before it can spread into our nation and corrupt, tear and destroy our very spirit. In this case despite our necessary first strike, it is we the people of Notosia who are just, and we the people of Notosia who through our violence work to secure peace for those who came after us.


the PM looked down fidgeted with his thumbs as he thought whether or not to go through with the last segment of his speech. Soon he looked up again continuing on without any sign of disturbance.

“If this still does not appeal to you, remember then the words of the King of Aurora when he first stood upon the shores of Notosia and spoke unto the then governor of Cookland. “Here I call this land, the realm of Notosia and name it heir in all to that which the Empire of Aurora commands. I name all the people of our descent who will settle and be born here, Notosians and promise unto them the world, as nothing less deserving of the equal of Aurora. For them all shall be theirs, all fields reaped in their name, all creations be marked by their artisans and all foes be trampled by their boots” Remember us the Governor tells us of the encounter, “The King swept his arms far and wide to signify all the land that could be seen and all that went beyond, his arms would reach as far south as the great ocean rift and the start of the second continent and as far across east as the Northern Isles even touching the shores beyond. I turned to him and replied, Notosia exists to serve your will, now and forever and will strive so that all you have just claimed on our behalf, can be hoisted if not under the flag of Aurora, but that of Cookland or a combined Notosian Nation”


Her history tells us that all the land occupied by the sea is part of Notosia, and that as Notosians we have promised that we will always fight until we occupy all that the Auroran Kings asked for, to do more is too seek to overthrow their authority, to do less is to hold them in contempt. I ask you here, do you intend to give your all to this war, so that we may reclaim our land upon which they squat on? Do you intend to be a true Notosian? I know that I do, and that is why I am announcing that I will be stepping aside after the conclusion of this war as the Prime Minister, fear not as this allows me to take my main role of guiding this Commonwealth to victory in this war we face, despite any difficulties we may face, for the duration of the war most domestic and minor concerns will be overseen by Arthur Fitzroy, who will after my retirement become the head of the Conservative party and therefore Prime Minister until the next elections. Notosia demands we give her our best, I have decided to give mine, I only ask you do the same.”


With that the Prime Minister turned and left as the camera’s turned off. He grimaced as his colleagues ran up to congratulate him, and dote upon him, explaining to him how much of a visionary he was. Personally he couldn't care less for their petty politics at the time, he had bigger fish to fry. “Arthur” he yelled to the Foreign Minister who was waiting for him a few metres away, “Get me the chiefs of staff, we have a bloody war to win”

The First Sixth Months​

The Eastern War, or Theater​

The swarm finally moved on their forces confident in their mass numbers to destroy and expand. Massive amounts of the creatures of the swarm and much of their mechanical and air forces moved against the kingdom of Fereon, They crossed the border unopposed for after all there was no preparation for such invasion at the start advancing with speed. By the time the king could raise his forces, all the frontier had fallen as the monsters invaded the north.

In a desperate gamble the knights and hundreds of thousands of conscripts defended the so called Knightly trenches in the middle of the nation after the lost of Belgrade city. There they fought in desperations the numbers thrown at them repelling wave after wave after wave meanwhile thousands more were conscripted all around the twenty million nation.

For two months the stalemate continued until the exhausted men, were finally breached as the army fled south with the swarm in behind them, consuming all, it was at this time almost a million Soldiers of the majeed smashed into the charging lines of the swarm from the south, routing their army north with hundreds of thousand of the bugs lost in the surprise counterattack.

Things will continue to get worse in the homelands of the Republic (swarm) as two nuclear warhead impacted portlandia, killing two million people and damaging most of the New Life republic fleet, compounded for worse as submarines then hit their fleet in the middle of the disarray and sunk much of it.

It was a shock to the New Life republic such thing happened to them, the likely culprits could be no other than althine they though, just when a declaration of war was being drafted, marines of the Notosia commonwealth stormed the positions of the swarm in the northern islands killing all they found and securing the deposit for themselves, making apparent whom was the culprit.

In this way the Swarm joined the Vaedor Axis vs the Althine Alliance declaring war the next day upon them. yet they held back on the nuclear attack by the time being as few warhead existed, and they could be needed as the Swarm forces broke south.

The next month as the swarm mobilized more hatched monsters for the war, Belgrade was liberated by the Majeed-Faenor joint army with the surprise counterattack and the nuclear hits, the Swarm had been slow in mobilizing more forces, for the next month, defeat after defeat, they were pushed back Blackpen was lost one more later after a disastrous defence which costed over a million broodlings, the Majeed and Faenor proceed to carry out revanche exterminations and deportations of the human population of the city, accusing them of colliding with evil forces and needed reformation as they were shipped to “reformation camps” far in the south. With the disasters in black pen the second Majeed army invaded and took Villton and then New angels by the sixth month of the War, as the joint army advanced upon Grislook City instead of New Life Capital as they deemed the Swarm would be defeated soon and wanted to take out the industrial center of the Swarm, after all it was the tanks and planes stopping their advances not the measly creatures they called soldiers, in the minds of the Joint army at least.

The Western War or Western front​

As emergency mobilization and War was declared by the Sphere upon the Commonwealth the forces of the commonwealth began their own invasion of the northern lands of the Sphere.

A massive landing was staged in the few days following the attack and the Commonwealth sweep the cities of Adab Reg, Beta Heym and snapshot, where their swift invasion, coupled with the chaos of the nuclear attack allowed a quick occupation and defeat of the shattered border defenses.

The Commonwealth navy engaged the Sphere navy the next month, as they carried the invasion of the city of Krokia whom was putting unexpected amount of resistance against the forces of the commonwealth. As the Sphere though it safe to attack cities of the commonwealth with its navy focused in the landing they discovered the trap that had been laid. The following battle though costly for the Commonwealth it put out of action the sphere navy as they retreated for fixes for the following four months when they clashed in the greatest naval battle until that time, the battle for Xeklilia.

As people were drafted by the hundreds of thousands in both camps the Notosian army secured the north of the country. The desperate Sphere realized it needed to use its biological weapons to weaken the commonwealth and resist the attack whoever the commonwealth was anticipating that and had sent hundreds of its special forces and agencies in the hunt for them before they could be used against the commonwealth, with no ICBMs to launch them it would have to be by air delivery, the target would be cape Town to weaken the current offensive upon Savabrik city, where a meatgrinder of men was located for both sides.

As they bombs were being loaded in a air base near Guneykh (where they were developed) one over two hundred special units form the commonwealth landed and assaulted the base sweetly. In a hurry the planes launched, for it was vital to achieve their mission, yet the attack overcome the defenses quickly and in the fight, the weapons were accidentally detonated by some noticias soldiers, over three Warheads detonated, and the disease spread over guneykh and Cape Town as the suicide mission of the Sphere air force was successful. It was successful beyond belief Cape town and Guneykh fell to anarchy in less than two weeks as troops from their nations and police forces attempted to restore order with the aggressive infected, whom would go to a bloodlust and attack other non infected, yet remained with their reasoning and used whatever they could. Both nations would have to divert forces to contain the disease and attempt to eradicated When in Terra borealis was impacted by the remaining warhead in the sphere stockpile chaos descended upon the the NSAC, signaling general retreat as the population was abandoned by fears of infection and troops escaped Tropiphet, with containment walls being build. Rovaria was Evacuated by the league forces before in much of their population, but nevertheless some one quarter was left behind infected.

The battle for containment on Guneykh would divert much of the resources for the hoped counterattack against the commonwealth forces, yet they would win it by the end of the sixth month, with much of the population eradicated from the city, millions in total.

Meanwhile the Technocracy did not initiated operations against the sphere, the steadily shipping of notasian troops and the general buildup indicated, a offensive in the core lands of the Sphere was being prepared.

The Main Theatre or the Patriotic War

Although the new leader of the Corporation, declared war and called all the units for the offensive, the amount of soldiers and forces that actually were standing were greatly below what was though, many had died during the nuclear bombardment by althine.

Still revenge could not wait and operation : Aggressive acquisition was launched upon the duchy of Javea lands. With most of the Althine Armed forces busy in the invasions of Vendor and the Republic , the corporation army easily sweep away the defending forces of the frontier. With orders to first secure the duchy to establish a foothold once Northport was occupied and much of the hinterlands the armed forces stopped..then the hard part started.

The invasion had caught by surprise the population of Althine, but they quickly recovered and the militias and guerrillas attacks began, patrols were lost in the cities streets at night, IEDs were common in all roads making them impossible to cross, bombardments upon towns did nothing more than to steel the resolve of the althine people. and anyone that could shoot against the invaders. For months the corporation struggled in the occupation, especially as supplies were low as chaos reigned inside the nation. Even as thousands more were sent to strengthened the occupation forces.

As they became more brutal in the repression, more aggressive did the althine partisans became, killing anyone that would dare to talk with the invaders or look their way, making clear they were hated by all.

Hundreds of thousands young men died in the first occupation months as a relief army was prepared and sent to attempt to achieve the pacification of Javeoi by the corporation. Things back home were not very great either as the nuclear strike had greatly damaged the population and infrastructure, destroying the already weak and not so great environment of the corporation and with the occupation dragging and consuming vast amount of money.

In criss the rebels were finally crushed as support from the corporation dwindled, meanwhile criss leaders accused the axis to attempt to destroy them and closed up trade with the corporation, expelling its ambassadors.

Meanwhile the Corporation launched its hard to maintain occupation upon Althine, the new found allies from the federation launched their own invasion upon the lands of Vaedor, a few weeks later than the Althine invasion.

This was done with the objective to find minimal resistance in the south as the Kingdom forces were arrayed against the Forces from althine in the east. In that regard the strategy was successful, the border defences were quickly overwhelmed as the forces from the federation moved fast in their invasion. The population of the area was another thing, long accustomed and fearing an invasion, the people of the south were hardy and armed, beginning an insurgency against the invaders as IEDs became a common way to hit patrols and army movements from the south. In the third month the invasion of Dolev was successfully won against the militias of the south and reinforcement gathered from the area and send from Valencia in an attempt to contain the Federation forces as the invasion of Althine was carried out by the victorious Vaedor Royal forces.

With militias retarding the advance, and the tribal soldiers needing a rest from the marching and fighting it took the federation another month to recover the offensive as reinforcements began trickling from home with the war of reclamation being what every boy wanted to join. The offensive was initiated yet, it stalled when meeting the Valencia Corps, recently drafted young people willing to defend the capital city, after weeks of fighting, even with losses almost four times for the Vaedor forces the Federation army was pushed back to the Dolev area. Its likely the dried up of men and supplies to the invasion force as the Federation was assaulted by the Canines from Mystletainn Empire and the Offensive against Pence was a big portion of the failure of the advance.

With Pence finally surrendering in the fifth month (after being conquest and liberated three times by Canine and Federation forces) the Frontier wide offensive of the Mystletainn was contained at the gates of perhenu and the canine retreated for a better organization, even though they keep the south occupied lands.

Just after the Nuclear strikes against vaedor the Althine army led by General Maximilian Dupont's advanced inside the shaken kingdom territory, quickly overwhelming the week frontier forces and sacking the city of Akra, as the flames burned from the nuclears impacts still. With hundreds of thousand fleeing and dying the Althine army carved a bloody path the city of shirel, burning towns, crops and all they could get their hands off. The royal army of Vaedor had avoided much of the expected damage by the nukes as they had been already preparing for an invasion of althine and aways from the cities.

Already in formation they met the althine forces in the city of Shirel, and the liberation began. two months of combat saw the Althine forces defeated and scrambling back to the Main camp in Akra as the people of shirel Cheered for freedom once more, on their retreat althine burned all they could devastating eastern Vaedor. The battle of Akra was a harder one for the Forces of Vaedor. The city had been fortified and new conscripts were arriving daily, a month of brutal warfare saw general maximilian death and the general retreat from Vaedor by Althine, with the death of more than fifty percent of their forces.

The retreating armies of althine were once again crushed in an attempt to delay the invasion of wessex when the forces of the magocracy finally crossed the frontier in the rear of the althine army and it was destroyed. With no official forces in the way they two armies rapidly moved, yet things began to bog down as the Althine population raised itself on arms.

The mage lovers and the mages were invading, they must be defeated by the righteous people of helir was the cry. La Résistance as they would come to be called, was to the death, meanwhile the harsher the forces of the mages and vaedor became, the worse it happened. With the rapid advancement in an attempt to reach Numiar city the back of the invadir forces and their borders were open, in revenge hundreds of resistance members crossed daily the borders and attacked populations centers of their enemies. The suicide bombers became an especial favorite by this men and women of all ages with the cry : Glory to Helir, their unifying chant terrorizing the civilians population as deep as Valencia city, with daily bombings.

Despite significant losses and never ending raids, supplies missing and attacks, Melina city was abandoned by the Althine military in order to consolidate on the fifth month of the war, leaving behind substantial weaponry for its people of all calibers.

It took a bloody month for Vaedor to occupy the city as the magocracy refused to assault with them citing conservation of troops for the assault upon Numiar city later on. Casualties were by the thousands as the resistance usage of suicide bombers mass IEDs and the great weapon caches left behind demolished Melina in order to hold the Vaedor forces. At the end of the fifth month a new relief army from Althine launched a strike against the forces of Vaedor and the Battle of melina continued well over the sixth month

In the south the war it was a surprise when the Althine forces under Jaeger soundly defeated the Unionist army marching upon althine, it was argued that the professional soldiers under jaeger, whom had seen extensive action in Gallia could not be beaten by the raw recruits, althine devastated inaba in their assault butchering and putting the city to the fires as they continued its advance defeated three counter attacks by the desperate unionist forces, not until the third month when the Allied forces agreed to a truce could they bring their warforged soldiers to fight althine and push them back in the battle of Gurentsu the althine forces were forced back and for a whole month pushed to Inaba, where they holed up against the incoming second battle of Inaba.

The Althine fleet was anihilated by the League and Vaedor fleet in the begginings of the battle of Melina, by the sixth month significant amount of forces where being deployed to support the offensives as defences were ramped out in remain League cities.
