Given the nature of several recent statements in regard to foreign nations, I should ask as to the possibility of intervention by the Kaiser or Chancellor, to ensure this behaviour ceases. Not only do they embarrass this house, but also the German Reich and its people, and as such I would call for a strong message to be made against such talk.​

Gentlemen, as I have previously stated, making bellicose statements that invite war with either our allies or other powers are not germane to the discourse of the Reichstag. Such discussions will only serve to incite war, something that should be avoided, if possible. However, our nation must remain strong in the face of external aggression, which necessitates spending on an armed forces. Additionally, for the benefit of the parliamentarian from the SPD, our budget is quite comparable to that our peers ((OOC: most nations at this time spent little on anything beyond the military or other basic services)). May we continue our discussions over the budget, which we should pass first followed by an opening of the floor to general debate.

I think we are spending to little on our armed forces, Germany must have the largest, best equipped and technologie advanced land and air force in the world.

That such a statement comes from our Foreign Minister is deeply disturbing. I will also point out that there is no shame is distancing ourselves from our neighbours by being the first to significantly improve the plight of the common man.

I and the Polish representatives can only support the budget if there is a post in the budget where money are specifically going to the polish regions. We can negotiate what the extra money in the Polish provinces should be used to.

I signed my name on to the Coalition government during the election in order to establish a Reichstag that would not buckle under pressure from the Socialists, and Chancellor von Birkenfelt appointed me Minister of Justice and Vice Chancellor. Though Poland is an integral part of our country, it does not deserve a staggering percentage of our annual budget. Not to mention that Poland also belongs to the Russians. If anything, you should be glad that we do not treat the Poles like the Russians do."
