That´s certainly an interesting question. Farmers are a priority in our agenda, but we respect private property and can´t, like the communists and anarchists would like, steal the land to their legitimate owners and hand it to people just because they are members of a particular union. We can´t, as they want, break the people´s right to keep their propiety. If they don´t respect that right, nothing can guarantee that the reds will respect your right to think, to pray, to speak or even, to live. No country which has undergone a land collectivization has ever done it in a democratic, free society. People, if you vote for the collectivization, you are voting for the Soviets, for the Gulag, the Cultural Revolution, the atheism and the destruction of freedom!
We promise, that´s right, to help the farmers, the workers of the countryland. Under our government, no small farmer will be taxed to death, no landless labourer will be exploited, no landowner should fear for having his lands stolen and his house burnt. Stability and prosperity for all, not for the masses.
"If elected, what will your party do to reduce inequality in Anetaguay?"
Again, an interesting topic. Inequality will be fought, but not in the communist style. We won´t make everyone equally poor. Our goal is to make everyone richer and happy, not poor and miserable. The lower strates of society will have the full protection and help of the state. The poor will have subsidies, the unemployed, work, the underpayed, a dignified wage. We promise to make every Anetaguayan a prosperous person, rich enough to not have to be worried about debts, scared about poverty. A better future for the people, is a better future for Anetaguay!
"Would you consider taking Peru to the world court for damages incurred during their illegal occupation of Anetaguay?"
Certainly. Anetaguay can be sure we will do anything possible to have the damage repaired. They have acted like criminals, scavengers over a helpless, innocent victim, and should pay for it. We won´t stop until the responsible people for this ilegal act are punished and the whole damage repaired! And we will do anything which the situation requires for it!
"What should be the role of the Catholic Church in Anetaguay?"
Catholicism has been the traditional faith of our nation, and a nation which lacks faith, moral and a guiding hand, is destined to disaster. As such, the Catholic Church will be protected and helped by the state. You can be sure they won´t dictate our agenda, but we will do everything possible to protect her traditional rights, and no harm will be done by the extremists to the spirituality and the soul of the nation.
"What role should the government play in the economy?"
Lastly, I would like to talk about this. As you probably know, we believe in the state interference in the economy, but not in an oppressive, soviet style. We believe in the state as a consumer, regulator and producer, not as the overlord of the economy. The economy shouldn´t work for the fat, bureaucratic pigs in some Supreme Soviet, but for the people. We believe in a French model, a state which offers enough demand to help producers, which produces the goods which would be unafordable, too difficult to produce, or, simply, strategically important, which regulates the economy, creating a laboral legislation which satisfy both the employee and the employer needs, where no worker is exploited and no bussinessman blackmailed for overpowerful unions. We believe in a future of prosperity and progress, brought by the help of a caring state, which main concern is the nation, and not the almighty party, like the communists, or the rich people and bankers, like the liberals and self-styled democrats.
