If you DV'd them, then wait 30 years and you should be able to DA them. I think the same factors that affect the chance they'll accept your DV are the same.

Duke of Wellington said:Good advice, I have used that tactic succesfully at other times when in a similar situation. Often with Rhodes as Ottomans, it simply means piling big armies of infantry into the island and killing them off with not only battle but attrition. Just make sure you attack near the end of the month giving yourself the least chance of losing before the month ends and of the battle goes long enough your troops may be there over 2 month endings as they fight then retreat. Basically though its gonna cost you lots of troops which hopefully you're able to afford.
Separate peace after you have made the DoW works only in the new 1.09 rules and only if Genoa is the alliance leader.Backpack said:1. If you don't have mountain provinces and you have a large Navy: Ally with Genoa and DoW someone with a strong Navy and lots of troops (i.e. Spain or the Ottomans). Build all cavalry, sit in your provinces, clear invaders from your territory when they land (runs up your victory % and allows separate peace), and wait for the inevitable. Eventually Genoa will either lose Corsica (and you can take it from the conquerer) or Genoa will lose her manpower on the island (and you can cancel the alliance, DoW them, and invade the empty island).
