Forming Scandinavia problem loss of cultuture

I am probably miss understanding something.

Playing as Norway and I have the perquisites for forming Scandinavia.. I read what will happen 10% tax increase great.

And then I change and I lose Swedish and Danish as excepted culture!!

So now I have to change culture ? which I cant a) Because I don't have the dip points(and cold never afford it) B) because the respective countries still exist (just).

So is this right, where the Scandinavia culture? or have missed something again?

Do not worry, you lost the accepted cultures but you became the cultural union, which is slightly better. Indeed, as the cultural union Danish and Swedish will remain accepted for the whole game (they are merely removed from the list but the effects remain) whereas you could lose accepted cultures once they fall below 10% of your tax base.

Scandinavia is a cultural union, if I'm not mistaken, and should auto accept Danish, Swedish and Norwegian. What you have 'lost' is the acceptance based on base tax. Check one of your Danish or Swedish provinces, if you hover over the culture it should say if the culture is accepted or not. You can also see acceptance in the stability or maybe religion tab, not sure.

It's in the wiki. This is the page regarding cultures. The wiki is currently in the process of being updated with Art of War, but is still a good source of information. The paragraph regarding accepted cultures and cultural unions is accurate as far as I know.
