What do you guys say about some of the culture shifting shenanigans?
Like Ming->Mughals->Shan->Yuan
Or the Something->Italy->France->Prussia of 1.21
Or that everybody will form something as Ottomans, like Arabia, and then Rum in the next patch, to get the same ideas and everything, but with extra 10% morale
I think tag switching should be way more restrictive, my idea is there could be 2 groups of formable tags
EU4 timeline tags and fantasy tags
EU4 timeline tags are nations that formed during the timeline of EU4 or that existed only a short time before (Rum/Yuan)
fantasy tags are modern tags (Germany/Italy) or long dead tags (Roman Empire)
The EU4 timeline tags should be limited to nations that historically formed them or those with that start with the same culture
Prussia - should be limited to Brandenburg/Teutons and nations starting with northern german culture (no culture shifting allowed)
Great Britain - England/Scotland/maybe Irish nations
you get the Idea
Modern/Ancient fantasy tags should allow culture shifting to form them, but once you formed them you can't form anything else. If you are Rome you are Rome forever
What do you think?
