As has been mentioned a couple of times, I would like to see a better and more dynamic colonial revolution system. Of course, I would also want Australia, New Zealand and other possible european colonies as revolutionary nations.

I realise it is a little ahistorical, but I would also like to see England be possibly split up into more nations like the rest of Europe.

Wales and Cornwall both have Welsh culture (if EU3 is anything to go by) so it isn't really England. Assuming there is Northumberland from EU3, I don't think England itself has any other provinces.

There is York and Lancaster, but they have special rules and don't emerge as nations in the normal way.

Again this is mainly going by EU3, since this sort of thing doesnt seem to have changed much for EU4.

War of the Roses event was in EU3, and formed the special "nations" of Lancaster and York. They couldn't be formed any other way I think. I suppose a similar system would be in EU4.

Assuming there already are 2 roman empire at the beginning of the game, I think it doesn't really make sense, a decision to moove your capital to Roma if you own it and to change the tag of your county to Roman Empire instead of Byzantium if you play the eastern roman empire and have enough provinces could be useful, but, recreate the roman empire if you own all of Mediterannea really doesn't make sense, (italian culture or not, latin people were not italians, and I don't remember any italian "nostalgy" from the peninsula about recreating a roman empire.

edit: or a decision to move the capital to Roma and change the tag to Roman Empire if you play as a reformed HRE, and have enough of the requires provinces.

I think if the Italian nation did begin to reclaim the various provinces relating to the old Roman Empire, they would certainly be feeling at least some nostalgia. Think of the propaganda!
