Pilsudkis encirclement maneuver of the main soviet forces was super clever, and all this without tanks. One could say the first Blitz maneuver hehe.
I only watched a few minutes, isnt this a whole film ? Whats the title ?
A few days ago i watched Miasto 44 in original polish language ( City 44 ? A film about the uprising in Warsaw 1944 ) but its one of the most trashy films I´ve ever seen, i couldnt barely watch it to the end.
2 very good polish films i can recommend are:
1.) Walesa czlowiek z nadziei ( Walesa, man of Hope ) there is even a german version i think.
2.) Jack Strong ( only polish and english versions ) Film about a real history.
In the last years there were some good films of polish production, but they never get good marketing in other countries and are very rare in the Kinos.
At least I never saw one in german kinos.

This film is "1920 Bitwa Warszawska", it's really bad. Unfortunately many polish war/historical movies are horribly. And "Sierpniowe niebo. 63 Dni Chwały" is probably worst.

I have question: Why Sikorski is a leader of Poland in 1939?

Sikorski was without command since 1926 as he was against Pilsudski's coup and Sanitation govt.
At the time, power was split between Edward rydz-smugly and Ignace moscicki. After September campaign Edward returned to occupied poland to fight as partisan and rest of Sanitation remained interned or retired.

1920 and 1939 were completely different scenarios. While the Bolsheviks were a major threat to our nascent, reborn independence, their capabilities weren't anywhere near those the Germans had at their disposal two decades later. That, and there wasn't a German Stalin to back-stab us 17 days into the campaign. Sadly, short of God himself intervening, we had no chance of surviving 1939.
