So no need for debit cards.
And debit cards costed much more, (monthly to anual fee) in the beginning.

If you can pay all you need without a card system that cost money on top..
Well the answer may be easy..

At least here in Czech Republic, people can easily get credit ot debit card without any extra cost.

Germany is only EU country that I know of where so many people dont have debit/credit card.

you can get free credit cards in germany too. the problem is that nearly nobody accepts them anymore because they prefer other ways to pay.
for example when you buy fuel with your credit card you don't pay more but the gas station has to pay for it. so they prefer it when you simply use you bank card. credit cards are a security risk and you simply don't need them most of the time. even online most sites use the automatic debit transfer system which is far more transparent. to bad gamersgate doesn't use it anymore.

The only reason I have a credit card is because I need it for online transactions in non-German stores, and if I visit the US, or go abroad anywhere to confirm hotel reservations. I don't even pay those hotels with my credit card.

I only use debit cards. No fees at all. But credit cards has usually an anual fee(30€). I dont like it so i dont have any,but if you want to pay some things, like an hotel, you need a credit card.

At least,with all of my debits cards (visa) i usually can buy without problems, for example,i bought victoria 2 box version in game.uk.

Are you sure that one can change the text from German to English? Is it difficult to do?

I prefer box games because residing in Central Asia one does not always have access to internet and certain not to a decent internet. But they (Paradox) seldom sell box expansions in the US anymore due to cost difference and profit margin which is understandable so this would be a nice fix if I can definitely change the text to English.

it is just one line in the settings.txt you have to change. try it: change l_english to l_german in your game.
the checksum might be different because the game might be censored.

it is best to get it from the same distributor you did get hoi3 and semper fi from but the gamersgate version seems to work with more or less every other version.

actually i tried to do both (sort of) but changing the language does not alter any files.

Even more amazing that it is not listed as upcomming expansion on Paradox own site..

Maybe this anticipation is right?

Its possible they will postpone release since Dies Irae anexpectedly emerged to be a masterpiece.
It is not cost.efective to release two addons parallel(Dies irae is addon whatever its official status),with possible risk for FTM to be ashamed by this "DLC" which was basicaly made by two guys in garage.

Or more testing for Def/Tough, further Multicore Support enhancement.

I sure haven't. Amazon etc just guess at release dates until we tell them. And as Johan said about the German version:

Don't expect it to be released very close to the online release. After that one is finished, it will be localised, then censored, then submitted for age-rating, and then given to the local distributor..
