I don't mind the price (alot of the early DOS games ran $50 plus) but i want to wait
for a few days after release to see how it is recieved by those who prebuy to see
their response to it.

That's what we've heard, yes. I think Johan once said that he owns a tiny minority stake in Gamersgate, so if you want to make him personally happy, buy from there. But for Paradox as a company it doesn't matter at all.

Unless Paradox owns a bit of Gamersgate as well. It would make sense for them to do.

I remember paying $80 for SSI's War in Russia by Gary Grigsby way back in the 1992, $20 for these advanced computer games really is a bargin considering the replayability. Thinking of picking up this after all and probably Pride of Nations as I'm checking out the demo right now.

EDIT: Hmmm after seeing the complaints about PON's UI and lag I think I better play the demo a few times through before purchase lol.

EDIT2: PON is not ready for primetime, very sad. But I just pre-ordered FTM, which with the 250 blue coin bonus for preorder AND additional blue coins earned, FTM is costing me $18.74. Why I'm buying? Changes to the map #1 reason so far.
