Thanks, I mean really. I never thought that the AAR readers here would like my simple gameplay-comedy AAR this much.

I have learned a bit about making AARs, but I've also learned to read other people's AARs in a whole different way. Not until I made my own AAR, I understood what amount of work it requires to make a one simple update. But I also understood what AAR writing gives to the writer him / herself. It really inspires me to write more, now that I know that people don't just read my AAR, they actually like it.

So I give big thanks for this and a big thanks to all the AAR readers. Not to mention the whole Paradox community and Paradox for making a great game like this.

Currently I'm going to do a little less modding and more playing, I want to get my carriers ready and start ww3 someday. As for Kulik, I was thinking that he takes over some small Central / South American country and starts eating bananas and drinking tequila... or something that they do in South America? ...I don't know.

Sorry for the oft, but...
Actually there aren't any real ww2 tv shows, just movies or mini series. Band of Brothers that tells about the 101st airborne is some 10-12 hour mini series. Then there was some 5-10 part series about some Soviet penal company in -43. But I haven't seen anything that has been any longer, that has actually made several seasons and such. Like if some producer would really make a cool long series, several seasons and really invest in it, I think it would be a huge success. But battlescenes and the special effects are a lot more expensive than some boring shows where people just talk for one hour. For example that Rome series... In the first episode there is a combat Romans vs Gauls. After that the whole show is just political backstabbing and stuff like that.

Don't forget The Rise of Evil. But yeah, not many shows like this that should be done right. While I enjoy the history channel when it talks about WWII, all the political talk, the war maps and some footage, it just doesn't fells enough.

I just woke up after a hard multiplayer game last night. I've got to post a few pics about that and then I can get to work with this, you'll get an update soon.

The History Channel I see here shows some show called Ice Road Truckers or something like that. Those guys drive their trucks along the ice, wow! But what does that have to do with history? ...They should change their channel name to Truck Channel or something. :rofl:

Even if there happens to be a ww2 document, it is of course about some American battle in France or Pacific. They never focus on the Eastern Front, where the war was decided. At least I personally think the Eastern Front is more interesting, but that's just me.
