NIce progress. But could you PLEASE, do something about yuur image size. I mean for a 640px × 480px image to weight 1378.27 KB is WAY too much. I have a DSL connection, and still need to wait for long time until it finaly loads.
Please switch to some other format than PNG, and if you are using Paint, try finding some if necesary free image editing software on NET, with which you can set compresion paramethers. For an example how much do different compresions weight I did compresion of your image in JPEG, GIF, PNG-24, with least lossy settings:

Good that the AAR still stays funny. During 36-41 I was able to write more humorous stuff, because there was no war. Now I can't do that so much, because I have to mostly focus on the war situation.

Sorry about that. I hadn't though about the fact that on some computers the images might reload too slowly.
I usually take the pics in game with F11, so they are saved in .bmp. But on some occasions I have used printscreen, pasted the images to photoshop, so I could edit them. So I have uploaded the basic pics in bmp and the edited ones in GIF.
I checked, and noticed a GIF-image takes 290KB and the .bmp one takes 2.3MB of space. That is almost 10 times more! So from now on, I'll start using GIF images. Maybe they will upload to imageshack faster too, because the .bmp images take a long time. So the future images will be posted in GIF, but the old ones will stay as they are, bmp. Thanks for you mentioning this. This will surely help other AAR readers too.

just a little advice about your pics problem, when you goto save in photoshop click on save for web, under file. it will make the file much lower in kbs so it will upload quicker

I think a played a game like that a long time ago. It had that blue hedgegod guy and some orange squirrel. I don't remember any spaceships though, but I didn't play that game much. But maybe Göring has a top secret program that is designing him a cool personal extra-powerful spaceship.

During the winter in 1944, both Germans and Soviets were preparing for the summer. No major winter offensives were conducted, because the Soviets didn't have the manpower to replace the high winter offensive losses. The German army had good defensive positions, but their army was in no condition to make winter offensives.


Stalin's top secret planning room

Stalin: T..that's it! The Red army tank divisions can wait. I want some heating instead of some useless tanks!

Zhukov: We have messed on the Karelian Front for too long! The Finnish defence positions at Petrokavodsk will be crushed. After that we'll take back Sortavala and Viipuri, and the Finns will surely want peace. After that we could drive the Germans out of Norway, so we'll have the future control of Scandinavia.

The previous update was quite boring because of the winter, and there was no winter offensive. So I played the game about 20 days forward. During those 20 days a lot of stuff happened and the game was really interesting. So the next extra-big update will be tomorrow.
