(I worked a while last night, another 30 years done!)
1506-1533 Years of Struggle
Part 1 Placing the Peaces
Jan 1506-
By the end of next year the Teutonic Order's alliance will fall apart, giving us a perfect chance to strike. My first move was letters of compliment to the Elecktor of Prussia and to the Hanstag, hoping to pull them onto myside after I leave the Spainish Alliance.
Feb 1506-
A revolt in Saratow, realy just a minor bother, revolts are not worth my time, but I have sent troops to stop it anyway.
April 1506-
I have commisioned a new campaign to improve the people's trust in the Monarchy, which I have begun to centralize in a chance to change what happened to Poland. A loan has been taken for this goal.
May 1506-
Another revolt, this time in the eastern lands of Volograd. Useless and wastfully I sent troops to kill the rebels.
July 1506-
This seems to be getting more and more annoying, Volograd and Kustrin, our lands taken from Brandenburg so many years ago. Again I have sent troops to deal with them.
Oct 1506
Again! the peasants will pay! The Muslim Krementjug has again revolted against the true religion, so I have sent a missionary to convert them, whether they want to or not (sent troops)
Dec 1506
The Christmas rebellion, Kujbyschew has revolted, and our troops are spread thin trying to handle the rebels, so I have ordered an army to be raised in Mazovia to crush the remaining rebellions.
July 1507-
We have left the Spainish allaice, although it has upset a few nobles and a few more peasants it will, in the end, be best. I have improved both our Prussian and Hansteatic League's relations.
Dec 1507-
The Teutonic alliance broke apart, and the Polish alliance has been formed. The Hans and Prussians joined our alliance, and we have arranged mairrages with Bohemia and Hungary, to insure safety on our western border for quite sometime.
Jan 1508-
Naple, some nation in Italy I believe has brocken from Spainish rule, dragging the Spainish alliance into a war which only Spain decided to fight. I chose a perfect time to break out of the Spainish alliance, for a war in Italy would not be effective.
April 1508-
Revolts, what am I doing wrong?! Kustrin has again revolted against our rule.
July 1508-
This turned out to be odd, the French have once more landed on the English shores something they haven't done for 400 years, with William the I. France has taken Calias and Wessex from England, giving them land on the English coast.
Sept 1508-
Missionaries in Myozr have converted the Orthodox Christians to Catholocism, which I don't mind.
Jan 1509-
Troops in Mazovia and Posen have made ready to invade the Teutonic Order, except that our invasion has been put back till May, following the death Mikolaj Radiziwill.
May 1509-
I have sent my diplomat to Livonia, accompanied by my armies. England Eire and Portugual have decided to support the Tuetons, Prussia and the Hans have supported me.
Jan 1510-
The first Polish army has seiged Livonia, while the Prussian's capital has been besieged by the Teutons.
Sept 1510-
The Prussians have dropped out of the war, paying the Teutons money to leave them, the cowards will pay one day, one day.
March 1511-
Livonia's walls have fallen, my commander reports that he is on his way to Estonia, the rich trade province to the north.
Sept 1511-
Estonia followed Livonia quickly, and our troops are on their way south to Kurland, the final province. Meanwhile I have recieved word that Welikia has been sieged by the Teutons, not that it matters, Kurland will be mine soon.
Jan 1512-
The seige drags on, while the Teutons have taken Welikia and are moving this way, my ministers say we should flee, I will stay, and lead our troops on the walls to defeat my anscestors in battle, to then bring them under our wing.
May 1512-
More men fell in the Siege, while one Lubormowski, the infamous, and old, murderer of peasants throughout the ralm, is moving towards Welikia to defeat the Teutons.
Jan 1512-
The last remenents of the Teutons have been routed at Welikia, but they took down the famed commander Lubormowksi, Duke of Volograd, who subdued rebels throuthout our relm and took the lands of the Golden Horde for the Polish Empire.
Sept 1514-
Western Prussia has revolted, due to the sudden unhappiness amoungst the merchants, along with the Irish invasion of Western Pomerania. They will pay.
Jan 1515-
Kurland has fallen, but not to me! The Hanstag has taken it right out from under our noses. I will make sure the Hans does not grow stronger, even though they are my allies.
Feb 1516-
There, it's ours, the Teutonic Order have accepted peace with me, giving me Estonia, and leaving him with Livonia and Kurland. With a second trade center under my belt I will be recieving more money, and with another port I will be able to advance in the naval section.
June 1516-
Danm Swedes. They have declared war, dragging the Neatherlands, Prussia and Hanseatic League into another war, and our weak forces in Estonia will not be enough to defend our borders.
Oct 1516-
A loan, to build troops to defend our only vulnerable borders, Danzig and Estonia. I have personaly commisioned the training of the Livonian regement, which will be used to defend Danzig from the Swedes.
Our army in Estonia has been amazingly successful. The cavalry army has routed 4 Swedish invasions, awaiting the resupply of troops and of new defenses that are soon to come.
Dec 1516-
My troops in Estonia are gone, defeated by the Swedes. I have no fleet, no way to get there, unless my forces can fight both the Teutons and the Swedish...
June 1517-
We have entered Royal marriages with Hessen and Spain, to make sure those two avoid wars with us during the conflict which is arrizing with Sweden, who is now completetly exhausted.
Jan 1518-
The Swedes are gone, taking a large sum of money with them, leaving us with Estonia in flames and enemies on all borders.
Sept 1518-
England and Scotland, two distant enemies have married our nobles keeping them peacefull for the time being.
March 1519-
Volgrad and Estonia have revolted, with 55 thousand rebels in Estonia seiging the city. My troops have been routed, leaving the city open to the rebels, while the Vologradese are being put down.
June 1550-
The rebels in Estonia felt the cold bite of a Polish winterm leaving them with 5 thousand from the original 55.
