"Karasho. Ocheen Karasho" The man mutterted in Russian, the only language the group didnt all know shared.
"Are we sure we should do this?" Asked the American from the other side of the table.
"We must, if we do not the empire will be kaput." The German said adding peices of his home languarge into the Polish slush.
"Agreed, but we all must be on the same... wavelength, here or no one will suceed." Jan said. "We must prepare the machine."
"But changing the history that far back will change history too radically for us to be certain, what If we got too far?"
"It is not necessary to fear the outcomes, only the process. IF we are not carefull we shall not susceed at all." The Russian said again.
"Easy for you to think about the effects, the whole attack was your fault!" The American shouted at him, in the barking English.
"Come my friends, we have all suffered greatly from the attacks, we must unite to end this suffering." Jan, the Polish leader of the group said.
"Are you sure, what if something goes horribly wrong? What if we fall to soon!" The German shouted quickly. "What if Russia takes Poland too soon, before she has become Prussian?"
"We have already discussed our plans, Poland is to remain itself, It must not be partitioned up. We must decide who goes first, I say we vote."
"Perhaps we should wait longer, what If the whole thing blows over?" The French delegate spoke up.
"NO! We must not wait any longer! We send the first peron tomarrow."
"But we havent tested it!"
"I will go first, If nothing changes, then we know our plans were in vain."
"It will go off without a hitch"
"I have a bad feeling about this."

The time machine spurted to life, it's engines shooting green fires into the metal lined room outside. The polish leader was going back, dressed and plasticaly surgiened to look like Jans Olbracht.
The real monarch slept in his bead, he rolled over in his sleep, but suddenly awoke. He tried to call out, but his body was no longer in this time, he had been replaced. And the replacement had one goal, to keep Poland together.
~~~~~~
"Well, now we await."
"The real Monarch should be coming back soon." a scientist said as the machine swirled up again, a man appeared stunned in shocked silence. He shouted some incomprehenisible words, and fell to the floor, the power of the time transfer had killed him.
"We can only hope our replacement faired better.
Thats my start, tommarow I will begin my first couple of years, and exciting years they where.
For those who didnt get that Ill explain
An event occured involving the Former Soviet Union and a faction of rebels. It caused massive economic, political and social destruction. These people believe that if they can stop Poland from being partitioned up, then there would have been no Russian revolution, thus no Soviet State. This is just a wacky idea, so dont get all uptight on the specifics, but I can invent more specifics if needed. My first posts will come shortly. They will be in a diary style, and a log, mostly the Journal of the monarch, sometimes a log entry of the scientists or delegates.
