Kelxac exploratory Voidhusk readying for departure

Cilxin Inaverta stood with the assembly of representatives from the most respected Enclaves from across Naxtac. They all stood around a holographic table that worked as the primary display. It could generate a series of pre-made presentations for ease of explanation.

“So the Void Enclave expects to make this journey when?” Inaverta said looking at the impressive interstellar Voidhusk.

“We’re still gathering resources, materials, and power but it is estimated that it should be ready to leave within two months.” the representative from the Void Enclave said.

Inaverta moved his Labrum Palps up and down, it was a thinking quirk he’s had since he could remember.

“Well. Thoughts on this?” Inaverta said. “We could be stepping into a new cycle of Formican history. Things won't be the same if this” he gestures towards the table “goes off without a hitch.”

“It will be an important step for all of us.” The representative for the Enlightenment Enclave said. “Chances are though that none of us will live long enough to see its ramifications.”

“Who cares about the long term, we have to live in the moment.” The representative from the Martial Council spoke. “We have just been given a new realm to conquer. The journey of a lifetime. I wish i was born later, so i could be apart of those going beyond. The journey of a lifetime.”

    Inaverta looked at the table.

“So, who approves of the journey?” He asked.

The room mostly raised their hands.

“So its a majority. I’ll start working on a grand speech for the public, be ready for the occasion representatives.” He said.

Inaverta walked out with the rest of the delegation to their respective Council Chambers. His assistant followed him down the hall.

“Would you like for me to write your speech sir?” The assistant said.

“No, sorry but i'm a man of Tradition.” Inaverta said. “I think I can manage writing a speech on my own, I had to do that back in my military days after all.”

“Yes sir, in the meantime, do you want me to postpone your appointments until your ready for the speech? I’ll also begin gathering the announcement together and coordinating a date.”

“Yes, they can wait until tomorrow I should have the speech together by then. As for the date…”

    He stopped thinking about it.

“Next week, on the Unification Day Anniversary would be the best time to announce it.” he said.

“Yes sir, i'll get right on that.”

The assistant walked off to carry out their tasks elsewhere.

Inaverta had never felt so excited since his military days. Hopefully, they will go just as smoothly as well.

Portrait of Cilxin Inaverta 2nd Consul of the United Formican Republic

    Xalcrax system
    20191108195713_1.jpg

Xalcrax (pronounced zhal-cra-ks) is a type A blue luminous star, mostly typical for its age. Around it consists eight planets and an asteroid belt rather close to the star itself. The inside of the asteroid belt called “The habitable zone” is the only place capable of hosting sentient life. There is only one planet that managed to host this habitable life, the rest are only barren and empty. It still is a grand mystery as to how Naxtac came to have life, but the prevailing scientific theory is one of Trans-spermia.

    Naxtac
    20191108195724_1.jpg

Naxtac itself however is a planet that predominantly consists of a large expansive Savannah biome. Other biomes do exist on the planet such as the thick forests that hug the Oases or the colder Grassland biomes towards the poles. The planet is sparse with large wild life, each with their own evolutionary quirks such as the Stonebison, a Bison that managed to evolve an exoskeleton.

Water on the planet is sparse, covering approximately 5% of the world. Water that does exist is in expansively deep pools called an “Oasis”. Much of the planet's biodiversity hugs these Oases or mass migrates from one to another. Predators have evolved to hunt down animals on journeys from one Oasis to another.

    Formicans

The Formicans would come to evolve on this harsh planet much like all other life did, through pure chance. Formicans were a weird race that could stay upright for long amounts of time as if they were bi-pidal. Soon the species would make a full bipedal transition.

Formicans carry six limbs, although the first two have mostly evolved to become smaller and smaller as time went on. Originally part of the mouth as larger pincers for weapons the invention of tools managed to make these pincers largely irrelevant outside of cutting up food for eating purposes.

They have two legs, and two arms, the arms of which managed to evolve six bendable indexes. This would prove to be its most important adaptation, second only to the Exoskeleton which it managed to evolve due to the need for protection against the large amounts of radiation that bombards the planet. This Exoskeleton has made the species not only strong but impressively formidable. Inside the Exoskeleton however is a softer skin that could easily suffer damage from just the UV rays alone.

Formicans are not Sexual Dimorhic, and thus a male is indistinguishable from a female outside of the reproductive parts. A typical lifecycle for a Formican is a Male and a Female Formican will mate and the Female will spawn a smaller grub. This Grub is tiny and almost worm like but requires help for basic things such as food. Once it has grown enough the Grub will enter their first Molting Cycle where they fall into a thick rock like cocoon. During each Molting the Exoskeleton of a Formican grows to become bigger and bigger. A formican has 4 molting cycles before they die of old age.

    Sociology

Formicans by their nature are typically solitary. This does not mean they do not share a sense of Community, only that they are very particular about their space. Along side of this they seem to value Traditions to a higher extent than most species. It's likely that this has also influenced their tendency to be slightly more rebellious than most other species.

A cornerstone to the Formican Society are its Enclaves, and the rituals they form in life with none more important than the Finding.

    Enclaves and The Finding

Enclaves are similar to a workers union or its equivalent. Enclaves typically consist of Skilled workers that specialize in one field of work such as Martial Skills or Agriculture. Enclaves have existed for the majority of Formican history and have been evidenced to date back to the Bronze age with some even estimating it has its roots in the Stone age or further.

Enclaves also tie into a fundamental ritual that all Formicans must take once they’ve reached their 2nd Molting Cycle: The Finding. The Finding is a ritual where Formicans roam from Enclave to Enclave, searching for which one they fit in the best.

The Finding could take a whole life time, or two days. Once formican reaches an Enclave the Enclave will give them a taste of what they are to expect living there. If the Formican does not enjoy the Enclave he will ask to leave to which the Enclave will replenish his supplies and point them to the nearest Enclave.

    The Lost

This has become a principal myth in Formican society, the Myth of the Lost. The Lost are Formicans who haven't found an Enclave to call their own and are thusly doomed to wander Naxtac aimlessly for eternity. Each culture in Naxtac have a variety of opinions on them, some calling them myths, some believing them to be Grim omens, or Blessed Omens. For the most part however this is believed to be a cautionary tale created early on in Formican history to ensure that someone finds their place in one of its many Enclaves.

    Culture and Beliefs

The Culture of the Formicans is wide and varied, due to their belief in keeping senseless slaughter away. Even though much of the Formican history is marked by wars, for the most part violent pillaging of civilians has been ignored due to the basic fundamentals of their beliefs. These Fundamental beliefs which has become the Cornerstone for every Formican Society is known as “The Codes of Order.” They are as follows:

“One must show Humility in all things,
One must allow any into your Enclave that seeks their Finding,
There is honor in the task you do,
Mercy is a virtue show it often,
The defenseless are innocent, do not waste their lives,
Give Charity to those in need,
We each do our duty according to our Finding.”

Each culture as added to these codes in some way, shape, or form.

Outside of these basic beliefs Formicans also enjoy various forms of Entertainment. A prized sport is Martial dueling, a battle between two foes. At the end of the Fight the winner is to grant the loser mercy instead of slaying them.

Outside of the Arena they also enjoy Music, and other forms of Auditory Entertainment like Radio Shows or Podcasts. As for Movies, they exist but are often focused around Epics due to the massive cultural differences. Formican Epics typically are similar to Biopics and have been known to stretch onwards for hours on end with the longest reaching 6 hours. These movies are being phased out in favor of T.V. shows due to their digestible nature.

    Government
    UFRflag.png

Flag of the United Formican Republic

The United Formican Republic is a Republic of the various Enclaves in one Union. Each Enclave will elect for a Representative to be sent to the Republic head, where they represent and help decide and vote on what would be best on behalf of the Enclaves they are from. The “Republic” is more of a loose federation of Enclaves. The UFR doesn't have the authority to override laws made by the individual Enclaves and mostly helps with diplomacy and trade issues.

The head of the UFR is the Consul, voted on by each Enclave around Naxtac. The UFR does have the authority to take command of Enclaves in times of great danger to the Formicans such as the rise of the Hulkrab Empire, but this is a dangerous gambit as Formicans have been known to gather their pitchforks in less dire circumstances and is thus avoided unless it can't be helped. The UFR has also an important duty in streamlining the Finding Journey through their Governmental Service system. After a Formican reaches his 3rd Molting Cycle he is given the option to stay in the Government Service as part of the Administration nicknamed the Administration Enclave, or is given the chance to be released to an enclave similar to their skill-set.

    Military
The military of the Formicans are tied around the various Martial Enclaves. The Martial Enclaves are tied to a fundamental Warrior Culture that has existed since their inception. This has managed to continue even after the invention of Gunpowder and Mechanized Warfare. These Martial Enclaves will still have occasional brawls with each other from time to time to test their might. These fights are usually highly ritualized, or rules of engagement are made before each battle.

    Economy

The Economy of Formican society is mainly based around a simplistic Barter system. While this may seem like they have a basic understanding of Economics, this is not the case as Formicans have been shown to understand equivalent trade and tend not to undo others in a trade, or have even been known to give gifts. The barter system often works from small scale bartering such as a Smithing Enclave asking a Miner Enclave for resources in exchange for new tools.

    Science

Predominantly the majority of the Science developed by the Formicans come from Enlightenment Enclaves which focuses on scientific study and advancement. Enlightenment Enclaves is generally the Catchall term for scientific based Enclaves. The Enlightenment Enclaves have mostly broken into various other Enclaves such as Sociology, Biology, and so on and so forth. Another Enclave which is recent within Formican History is the Void Enclave, a new Enclave that has focused on pursuing exploring and taming the wild expanse of the Void.

    Iron Age Era Enclave ruins

After the emergence of the early Formicans, and their transition into a Sapient Species soon afterwards would they begin to form communities. During the early invention of fire Formicans begun to gather in small tight-knit groups. Early Archeology has shown a lot of these groups carried some similarities to a Formican Enclave, but is more of a progenitor than the actual first Enclaves. They would live in large villages where sections of the village would have compartments that had a collection of other huts, as if it were a smaller village within the bigger village. Archeology has shown tool fragments entirely in one area, and weapons in another, and sewing tools and needles in a separate compartment.

These villages would spread with time soon being everywhere in Naxtac. Eventually the earliest discovery and use of Bronze would begin. During the Bronze Cycle Formican villages found that they could disconnect themselves from other Enclaves, and thus is the emergence of the first true Enclaves. Enclaves are typically big, allowing housing and storage for many people. During these early and dangerous times however these Enclaves would carry a contingent of warriors from Local Martial Enclaves to help with hunting or defense. As time carried onwards Enclaves would show become more advanced, soon helping with paved roads, allowing early explorers on a Finding to replenish their supplies and so on.

With the discovery of Iron based tools these Enclaves would begin to push further and further away from each other, now that Enclaves begun to support themselves more efficiently. This would be complemented by Enclaves allying and creating the first of the Nation-States. These Nation-States would prove most effective for the majority of Formican history.
Each Nation-State begun experimenting with various forms of governance. Alongside this would be the various wars. Nation-States would fight each other not at first for resources. As time went on soon Nation-States would begin waging wars based on abstract ideals, such as religion or honor.

Later on a new wave of Formicans would form the Enlightenment Enclaves. These Enclaves only cared about achieving a pure and rational understanding of the world around them, and thus managed to kick off a series of new cycles and understandings of the world. With each new scientific discovery Formicans would adapt and adjust to it accordingly without much radical change in their society. Towards the early 3100’s when Formicans were pushing out into the Void with increasing efforts would the greatest war to Formican history be known.

Kracax Hulkrab was a Formican that had climbed through the ranks of his Martial Enclave and would quickly grow to be its head. Kracax begun to dominate, and conquer all Enclaves around him. Once having a sizeable amount of Enclaves in his control he would form the Hulkrab Empire, a military empire that was the first of its kind. Kracax had claimed that he saw a vision in which all Formicans were united under one Nation-State. He began surging outwards at a rapid pace. Many nation-states tried to fight against this growing tide but would find themselves defeated by the military genius of Him and his rigidly trained officer corps. After growing to conquer a third of all the Formican Enclaves this caused the remaining Enclaves to gather and form an Emergency Defense Pact until the Hulkrab Empire was defeated. Many Martial Enclaves pushed to standardize their training, Weapons, and Equipment. The first battles under the new pact would prove to fail spectacularly, but would lead the Officers to gain a crucial understanding of how to fight these battles. Soon the pact began to push against the Hulkrab Empire slowly but surely. This was until the battle of "Kab Kranac Oasis". The battle was a major effort to dislodge the Hulkrab Empire from one of the largest Oases on Naxtac, and to test a rapid assault and deep planning Doctrine. The battle proved to be an extremely decisive one as the Pact quickly overwhelmed the troops stationed there.

Inklac Spectrac Martial Enclave, Battle of Kab Kranac Oasis 3107
From that point onward Formicans begun to push hard against the Hulkrab Empire, overwhelming and outdoing the once formidable opponent. After years of pushing eventually the Empire would be brought down to the original Nation-State borders of the Empire. Kracax Hulkrab demanded a ritual known as the Final Sacrifice, in which the leader of the Martial Enclave would duel the strongest warrior from his opponent to defeat him. If the challenger wins, he is left alive alongside his Enclave. If the Challenger dies then his Enclave is destroyed along with him. The ritual would be granted and in a highly televised event Kracax would duel Knel Bax. In a very close duel eventually Knel Bax would emerge victorious. The Hulkrab Empire surrendered and was no more. Former officers were granted clemency, and life returned to normal. After the coalition was disbanded a growing number of Formicans actually begun to demand a permanent Coalition to safeguard against any future threats similar to the Hulkrab Empire.

After a vote on the issue that resulted in a landslide, Formicans voted wildly in favor of a permanent Coalition. Political Enclaves and Judicial Enclaves convened to begin work on this new nation, and after six long months of intense debate eventually the United Formican Republic would be announced to the public, and to take place on 3112. On the date of its creation called “Unification Day” the first Consul of the Republic would also be inaugurated along with the formal dissolution of all pre-existing Nation-States.

The first consulship was rough but allowed for a nice formatting process, allowing procedures to be set and other formats to determine the way forward. With the election run of 3122 it was a close tie between Inaverta the war hero, and incumbent Knel Bax the first Consul. These first elections however were not grand spectacles, only people that really care about niche issues voted for them. The Vote would go to Inaverta and thusly would become the 2nd Consul of the UFR. He is known for being not only an organizational expert due to his military days but an ambitious man willing to push boundaries.

The main focus for his administration is to make the UFR run more smoothly, but recently after his election his administration has begun to grow quiet. Rumors are already circulating, some good, some bad. They all agree however that whatever happens will be big.

Chapter One: “Things will never be the same...”
  • Chapter One: “Things will never be the same...”

The Voidhusk coursed to the entrypoint carefully. The people from the Void Enclave in the ship were highly skilled in their craft and were the oldest and best the Void Enclave had to offer.

“Engines are green.” A scientist called off.

“Fusion Reactor Green” another scientist called off.

“Energy Shielding Green” Another scientist said.

“Armor shows perfect integrity.” A scientist called off.

“Ok, are we ready to make history?” Ibbac Inaverta called off.

The team cheered in agreement. The team was about to be the first Formicans to ever go at a faster than light speed. The concept had been tested with Probes and Drones, alongside some domesticated animals but never has it been tested on a fully functional Formican. They were in a top-of-the-line Exploratory Voidhusk of its kind and were edging the uncharted territory. The ship had a massive chemical reactor thruster in the rear that was powered by Hydrogen. The ship could replenish the Thrusters by gathering frozen Hydrogen on Asteroids or any other body, but for this occasion the ship was stationed with extra fuel incase the FTL-Drive didn't work and they had to sail back to the Station.

The ship had light energy shielding along side sturdy military-grade armor. It could also carry a series of Drones, Probes, Void-rated Exosuits, and a smaller exploratory Void-Husk to Surface transport craft. The Husk was mostly hollow however as it was only to test the highly experimental FTL. If the journey went off without a hitch then they would come back and re-fit for a further survey and study of the planets.

“Coming across the chute.” A pilot said.

“Alright everyone get into your seats and buckle up, we have no clue what to expect so be strapped in tight.” Ibbac said.

“Coming across the chute in twelve” The Pilot said.

“Alright here we go.” A scientist said.

The Voidhusk leveled itself out to align itself with a tear it was about to rip open. The FTL drive in question worked by finding quantum ties to various bodies through Quantum Entanglement. It would open a wormhole in these points and should according to the theory of how it worked travel them to another area without having to put much effort into it, similar to gliding once you’ve caught the right gust of wind. The wormhole opened up in front of them. Many in the Husk begun to pray for safe travel, or hope they would make it.

    “Entering the wormhole in 3-”

    “2-”

    “1.”

First images of FTL travel from Reakios

After a week of hushed silence from the UFR Administration, suddenly a press conference would be announced on Unification Day. On that day the UFR Administration had announced that the Void Enclave was making a Faster than light Jump to a neighboring star. People were mostly indifferent about this, that was until news footage had shown that Exploratory Void Husk Kelxac was showing footage from another star system.

With this new journey it became clear that the Formican people with the help of the UFR had begun the next Cycle in history, historians were calling it the Stellar Cycle. Shortly afterwards the UFR pushed out, exploring and claiming extra solar bodies on their own. The first ever Colonial ship was sent out to an extraplanetary body and soon the Formicans landed on their first extraplanetary colony Zuppox Ovoc began to take root and expanding on the world.

    20191110213005_1.jpg

Around this time however the UFR would quickly discover another extrasolar empire: The Oen High Kingdom. While many celebrated this astonishing achievement in discovering fellow star explorers things quickly deteriorated as the true nature of their regime was shown to the public. The High Kingdom was a fous democracy. The state took great care in manipulating its people into believing they lived in a democratic government, only for News Correspondents and Officials to bait the public into what the Monarchy wanted them to do all along.

The borders between the two Empires closed just as quickly as they had discovered themselves, and a newfound rivalry between the two began. Eventually through exploring the UFR would discover other Alien Empires that were more agreeable with the UFR such as the Echor Commissariat. These two got along rather well due to sharing similarities in regards to governance, formation, and Ethics.

With a few more years passed soon the UFR would find themselves at the swords edge of the Oen High Kingdom and thusly, the First ExtraSolar war begun. This war had many names but it more commonly referred to as The 1st Oen-Formican War.

    The 1st Oen-Formican War

In the initial stages of the War the UFR was inadequately prepared for such a war. The UFR had very few Voidhusks capable of battle as at the time, alongside that the Military-Industrial output had fallen behind in favor of civil output. Eventually the UFR would assume control of the Enclaves, bringing quotas to each relevant Enclaves to meet. The Construction station above Xalrax begun to build Husk after Husk.
    20191110222613_1.jpg

    First Battle of Siphant

The new War-Swarm which was miniscule had to test its might after the Oen High Kingdoms War-Swarm was detected just outside UFR borders. A station had been attacked and the defenders were digging in to defend it to the last man. The War-Swarm quickly engaged the Oen forces and soon the first battle of Siphant begin. The Oen Kingdom would emerge victorious from this battle with UFR forces under the command of Luk Aspinaca had to retreat. The War-Swarm of the Oen High Kingdom quickly moved to Xalcrax, and after a brief panic it was soon found out that they weren't going for the capitol but to capture a neighboring star which held the UFR paradise world. The UFR War-Swarm quickly regathered its strength and sped out to stop them.
    20191110223429_1.jpg

    Battle of Astius

The fleet soon engaged the Oen High Kingdom in a tense fight. During this fight the War-Swarm of the UFR was quickly in danger of retreating until Commander Aspinaca rallied the Husk Chiefs and soon beat the enemy War-Swarm forcing them to pull out. With the Oen High Kingdom advance halted, Commander Aspinaca became a Hero among the War-Swarm. While the job was not done yet the War-Swarm ultimately had bought the valuable time needed in building a War-Swarm to a force parity to that of the Oens own War-Swarm. The War-Swarm went to test their newfound strength at the 2nd Battle of Astius. The battle would be a Formican victory and soon the UFR would be able to halt any future advances of the Oen High Kingdom.

After capturing the Star once more, soon the Oen High Kingdom would launch War-Swarm after War-Swarm in almost suicidal attacks and soon would result in Siphant becoming a bloody back and forth between Oen and Formican War-Swarms. This would continue until both sides grew tired of war and would mutually agree to end the war. The Truce of Siphant was signed and the 1st Oen-Formican war would draw to an end.

With the war drawing to an end the UFR demobilized the economy and begun serious efforts to be better prepared for further incidents or wars. A Defensive pact between the UFR and the Echo Commissariat was signed and Consul Inaverta would form the United Formican Republic Strategic Planning Enclave or FRSPE for short. This new Enclave was focused on drafting up battle/contingency plans to better be prepared for any war with any nation around them. FRSPE begun immediate work on drafting up the Oen HIgh Kingdom war plan. With the war's end and with the surgence of growth under the UFR government this would quickly lead to public backlash, this would cause Inaverta to lose the 2nd Re-election Campaign to an up-and-coming opponent. The Inaverta Administration was over and would be replaced by the Aspinaca Administration whose goals certainly seem uncertain.

Either way, the UFR has to be prepared for the coming hardships ahead, with many Martial Enclaves demanding that the UFR put an end to the Oen High Kingdom.

    Commissary-General Bryeselva Takka

Aspinaca stood in the diplomacy room of the Administrative Headquarters of the UFR’s central administrative Enclave. The team was prepping the Consul for a discussion with the Commissar-General of the Echor Commissariat. A team of Formicans ran around getting everything set up as if it was an extravagant play. They were using a new translation software that could translate whoever was speaking with minimal mistakes.

“Ok call should be coming in from the tight-beam in six” a Formican assistant said.

“Right. So, do I look presentable?” Aspinaca said.

The Formican stood there analyzing Aspinaca for a minute and then adjusted his suit a little bit. “There much better, now sit up straight, call should be coming in soon.” They said.

The Formican Assistants cleared the view of the calls Camera. The Central screen in front of them filled with an image of the Echor Commissar General.

“Ahh Formican! I see you look nice for this occasion.” Takka said looking at Aspinaca.

“And you too Zaskan, you look exceptional.” Aspinaca complimented.

“So we’ve heard about your war with the Oen High Kingdom. We’ve been taking close notes on the issue and are most pleased. You fought admirably in the Campaign.” She said.

“Yes, they might’ve caught us off guard but it's nothing the United Formican Republic cannot handle.” Aspinaca said.

“So, judging from my reports..” she says this while scrolling through holographic notes. “You require aid from the Commissariat, Is this true?”

“Yes, any aid you could lend use would be much appreciated. We would of course return the favor, given time.”

Takka finally stopped scrolling when he found the right report and focused on that. “Its says here that you hold liberties of those you conquer at the highest regard, is this true?” she said closing the notes and looking back at Aspinaca.

“Yes, If I may what does this have to do with aid?” Aspinaca said.

Takka laughed. “Formican if your asking for aid from the Echor Commissariat, this has everything to do with lending aid. Do you know the core principle of our Commissariat?”

“I would have to say I am not versed in the codes of honor of your Commissariat.” Aspinaca said.

“We hold these truths to be the highest importance, Liberty, Freedom, and Justice.” Takka said. “So long as I draw breath, I will not allow these truths to be taken from any.”

Aspinaca understood this firm code of honor. This was nothing unheard of for him, but he wasn't expecting it from an Alien species.

“Formican. We do not lend our aid to tyrants, dictators, or jubgigators. We will only agree to help you if you agree to uphold these virtues in your wars so long as you need our aid.” Takka said. She leaned in as if to illustrate her seriousness. “Otherwise, we have nothing more to discuss.”

Aspinaca lightly tapped the Mandibles on the sides of his mouth contemplating. After a while of thinking he balled his fist and tapped it against his chest three times. This was the standard salute of the Formican people.

“As the formal representative for the Formican people, we agree to uphold these terms.”

Takka let out an ear pleasing series of rhythmic chirps. “We are pleased to hear it Formican, we will be happy to lend you aid in any endeavours.” The Echor said.

Aspinaca was happy, as this was the beginning of a bright future between their two peoples.

    Consul Luk Aspinaca
Following the run of the Inaverta administration many Formicans were greatly displeased at him. A major issue they held against him was his expansion of the Federal government during his run. The size of the administration greatly ballooned and with the 1st Oen-Formican war they felt the performance of his administration was lackluster at best. War Hero Luk Aspinaca, veteran War-Chief of the Xixlen Inklac Corvette-Class Voidhusk would become the new consul of the UFR. During his first years in office he comissioned the FRSPE to assess the 1st Oen-Formican War for anything that they could use to improve their combat performance.

While the assessment was going on Luk Aspinaca begun major public works projects. Naxtac had become a centre of trade in the UFR, and its colonies. He also helped improve the situation of the colonies and soon would begin self-sufficiency and even providing for the UFR. Luk also begun major diplomatic missions, both internally and externally. Internally he greased many palms and appeared in various public venues, even starring in a movie based on the 1st Oen-Formican war called Vanguard: Heroes of the 1st Oen war. Externally he would meet in calls and discussions with foreign empires, fostering close relations with the nearby Echor Commissariat and providing favors for them in exchange for favors of their own.

His first term would go by without a hitch and would easily win the re-election. With the re-election FRSPE’s assessment of the Combat performance of the UFR in the first Oen-Formican war would be revealed. In the report it highlighted the abysmal performance of the UFR and contributed it to an early lack of discipline. Many War-chiefs within the UFR War-Swarm acted independently and caused chaos within the coalition command. This coupled with the fact that much of the War-Swarm also lacked a formal chain of command, with the commander being dictated based on experience sowed chaos as many of the War-Chiefs within the Martial Enclaves spent days bickering and arguing about who should take command and what Enclave. The Oen High Kingdom on the other hand had a clear military command, a clear military doctrine involving void-based battle, and a rigidly trained officers corps it became clear that if the UFR fought another war with the shape it was in it was unlikely to win.

Luk Aspinaca called for a formal governmental assembly where he discussed the issues with the formican military. He laid out a massive plan to reform the military from the bottom up through a series of reforms. While there was pushback at first, Aspinaca made it clear that if the UFR did not fix its situation soon it might be conquered by the Oen High Kingdom. With this becoming clear to the various Martial Enclaves they caved in to Aspinaca and allowed him to pass his reforms. Aspinaca’s reforms would begin with the FRSPE. He would greatly expand it and change it from the Formican Republic Strategic Planning Enclave to The Formican Republic Military High Command Enclave or FRMHCE for short. There with the help of the Echor Commissariat he would help lay out the formal ranks, requirements for said ranks, and structure and organization of those under their command.

Next he worked on standardizing the Formican Martial Enclaves and would help turn them into the first ever Formican Military Enclaves integrating them into the UFR. With this move he was able to promote and assign pre-existing Formican War-Chiefs into the administration and allowing them to have greater say in the military. Alongside this he would help push many Military Enclaves into various Void Stations and outposts. Once the initial chaotic integration was complete and Aspinaca was re-elected for his Third term he began with his final integrations. FRMCHE, with the help of the Echor Commissariat would help draft a series of Doctrines that would become the UFR Standard for all Military Enclaves.

After this he laid out a series of required resources for this growing Military administration. Instead of only taking full control of Enclaves for a limited amount of time. Aspinaca realized that if these Enclaves contributed constantly to its stockpile, then it would no longer need to take full control. This was met by fierce resistance from Enclaves, believing that the UFR is threatening their liberties and in violation of the UFR constitution. Aspinaca in turn spoke with the head of this opposition Enclave. He spoke to her reminding her of the constant, near exhausting work of the Enclaves during the 1st Oen War. Aspinaca promised them that if these reforms were passed, then the Enclaves would no longer be fully taken over. The Opposition bickered and argued with Aspinaca and soon they came to a compromise. Aspinaca agreed that the UFR would only take 5% max of any resources needed for it to function. With this agreement the UFR military now held a fully functioning military that was well taught, well supplied, and well trained.

With these reforms in place the UFR now stands stronger than ever. However Aspinaca is fully aware that the only way these reforms can be proven is through the great crucible: War.

    20191112144033_1.jpg

Opening Salvos of the 2nd Oen-Formican War

On the eve of 3.1.3172 War was declared on the Oen High Kingdom. The UFR had been gathering and rallying its War-Swarm and soon Voidborne forces would meet the Oen High Kingdom for the first time in its own borders. War-Swarm Alpha and Bravo would arrive in system of the Pelcus Fortress Station and would be locked in a battle to control the fortress. The Oen High Kingdom had been caught off guard as the fleet was still in the middle of a transitional period, where it was being refitted with newer model weapons and defenses. By the time the Oen Royal Navy was ready to meet the Formican War-Swarm it had already broken through and garrisoned the Fortress station. The UFR War-Swarm pushed through in a plan of encircling the capitol, cutting off the supply from deeper within the Empire, and ensuring that stragglers were dealt with before moving on to capture the capitol.

Swiftly the fleet moved to capture these stations and soon, a Formican War-Swarm was laying orbital bombardment on Oen Prime the Oen High Kingdom Capitol world. The Oen Royalty had a tough time spinning the propaganda in a way that would not embarrass the situation any further. Formican Landborne forces on the other hand were having a tough time, as the war was unexpected to be this successful. Landborne Forces planned and argued for days on how to best approach an invasion of the home world. Eventually the plan for a formal invasion of the Homeworld was won out by Xyp Lobbitka and she would lead the UFR Forces in the largest invasion force in Formican History. The Invasionary Force gathered and soon invaded the homeworld in a tactic of overwhelming force.
    20191112151928_1.jpg
    Battle of Odor

This tactic, although proving costly in the initial phases of its deployment would ultimately prove successful as the Invasionary Forces quickly overtook important Void to Land ports. Rapidly the Formican Landborne forces took control over much of the planet and were closing in on the Capital of the Royal Family. The Royal Family managed to flee before the forces converged on the capitol and the remaining troops guarding it were fanatical defenders of the Oen High Kingdom. These forces were also supplemented by a quickly put together citizen militia in order to exhaust the coming troops before dealing with the elite guard.
    20191112152756_1.jpg

    Battle of Odor Prime

Soon Formican forces would begin their first pushes into the Capitol. The Formican forces quickly found themselves caught in some of the most brutal Urban warfare they had ever experienced. Coupled with a brainwashed populace that were firmly convinced that they were on the verge of being exterminated by Formican forces were fighting desperately. UFR Soldiers were forced to open fire on some civilians, leading to major issues of Depression and Suicide amoung the forces that engaged in this battle well afterwards. After a week of fighting the combined Formican Forces would close in on the central Palace of the Royal family. The building which had once been a luxurious and decadent structure dedicated to the grandeur of the Royal Family of the Oen High Kingdom had been turned into the central brooding Fortress of the Royal Guard.

For days Formican forces bombarded the palace, and for days they set up a webwork of defensive trenches and foxholes to lay more fire on the Palace. Until one day they would receive their breakthrough. After a week of heavy fighting eventually UFR forces would launch an all out assault on the palace using Void, land, and Air assets to overwhelm the defenders. The Oen Royal Guard were killed after putting up desperate last stands. The Citizen Militia of the Oen High Kingdom would surrender to the UFR Forces. Aspinaca would receive the formal surrender from the Queen of the Oen High Kingdom, and thus the 2nd Oen-Formican war would draw to an end.

The UFR had made a small expansion into Oen Territory, ultimately only taking 5 systems. However with the capture of the Capital of the Oen High Kingdom, and the subsequent defeat of the largest defensive force in Oen history they were having a hard time spinning this in a way that would put them on top. The United Formican Republic held its first ever victory Triumph for an Interplanetary battle. Soldiers marched down the central administration and the biggest planetary Enclaves, following behind them were massive holographic parade floats which showcased the various moments and battles in the 2nd Oen-Formican war.

Aspinaca was more proud of himself, as with this victory his reforms proved to be necessary. Many military theorists and generals hailed Aspinaca as a military genius. The following years later would be marked by the UFR Invasion force on police duty in the world of Oen until the time that it would settle down as a proper Enclave within the UFR. The Formican Administration would have a considerable difficulty dealing with the newly annexed Oen people. The Oen people did not follow in the same traditions as the Formicans. While there were rumors that no one else followed the Enclave system they did not believe it until they saw it first hand.

Ultimately confused with how to deal with the situation, it was decided that the planet should have self autonomy within the UFR until they were ready to be integrated into the Republic. To help with the Integration process the UFR televised an event that was known as the Wakeup Speech. A UFR team had spent months studying and researching the crimes of the Oen High Kingdom and during the speech televised the various crimes and immoralities of the Oen Royal Family. Some refused to believe this thinking that this was enemy propaganda, while many others were in complete shock at the staggering amount of crimes committed. The UFR helped the populace regain its autonomy and helped undo years, perhaps centuries of Brainwashing.

Immediately after the Wakeup speech UFR military police would arrest and detain the various people guilty of commiting these crimes, some managed to flee the planet while others would commit suicide. The Criminals of the Oen High Kingdom would be persecuted by UFR Judicial Enclaves. For days the trails would commence and would become a grand spectacle. Many criminals either tried to justify their actions or distance themselves from it. Many tried to claim that there were cultural differences that were too vast to be persecuted for any crime. Ultimately a UFR Lawyer managed to counter this with a now infamous speech. In the speech he said that quote “There are some crimes that transcend inter-species borders and are universally immoral.” After the Trials were done only a scant few would manage to become free from persecution. The rest that were found guilty were put to death and all their assets liquidated to the UFR. The Oen High Kingdom called these Trials a witch hunt to purge any dissent, while the Echor Commissariat praised the UFR for their efforts in calling out the crimes of tyrannical governments.

Oen populace were mostly in shock on how to deal with these stunning revelations. With the United Formican Republic now proclaiming themselves to be a Beacon of Liberty, any who wish to live safely and freely could do so within the UFR. The UFR military is gathering for one more big invasion of the Oen High Kingdom, one more ambitious than the last. The next war coming up will be a decisive war for the victor. Formican or Oen whoever wins will become the dominant power in the region.

Chapter 4: A Tempest on the Horizon
  • Chapter 4: A Tempest on the Horizon (3197-3222)
The year of 3197 would be marked by the sudden passing away of the UFR’s most Venerable Consul Luk Aspinaca. The UFR would burst into a period of mourning for the great hero of the Republic. A massive Mausoleum would be constructed on Naxtac for Aspinaca. Among these ceremonies were the recently conquered Oens who thanked Aspinaca for his liberation of their people. With the death of Luk Aspinaca, the Republic stood in a tough spot unsure of how to progress forward as Luk Aspinaca up until this point had more or less unified the UFR singlehandedly. The Election cycle lead to standstill having to be delayed more and more as much of the republic could not agree on how to lead the Nation forward Ideologically. When the third election cycle was met a new candidate begun to rise in popularity with the Formican people: Xumlobb Inaverta. Xumlobb was the governor for the central Xelcrax Sector of space being essential in helping with the governance of this area.

Xumlobb promised to bring more prosperity to the Formican people through its recently conquered territory and pushed for greater protection of trade routes and established an official currency for the Formican people. This currency was mostly to make trade with other nations easier, and most Formicans within the UFR simply ignored it. Xumlobb would be elected the new Consul of the UFR and in order to secure their position in this new office Xumlobb pushed for war with the Oen High Kingdom. The FRHMCE was not ready for the war and had to delay important fleet refittings, but followed orders and begun their operations to defeat the Oen High Kingdom.

During the war declaration the few remaining fanatical insurgents within Oden Prime began a series of Terror campaigns assassinating UFR loyal politicians and causing widespread damage. The worst of these was the massacre of the former Royalty palace which had turned into a more modest Republican state house. In the massacre Guards stationed at the building overnight were killed and with their blood the words “DEATH TO THE UFR, BRING BACK THE ROYALTY” were written on the walls. These radical attacks caused UFR military forces to be stationed on the world as a police force until the time these attacks were over.
    20191117000021_1.jpg

The UFR Warswarm would begin its operations in a two pronged offensive, securing defensive stations to have as a foothold and as a bulwark for pushed into the UFR from the Oen Fleet. Once these stations were secured the Formican fleets pushed into Oen Space leading to the first difficulties of the campaign. Fleets had outran their supply lines making reinforcements arrive later than usual. Oen Fleet doctrine at this time had also emphasized a Hit-and-Run Guerilla warfare strategy against the Formican Warswarm. This lead to a defeat by the UFR Forces at the battle of Lisrrasya where a Formican warswarm had pushed deep into Oen territory to be swatted away by an ambush from a Oen fleet. Another example was the Ambush of Awqueo where another Formican Warswarm had been ambushed by two fleets leading to a desperate battle. The Formicans would win this battle but would suffer massive damage from the engagement forcing them to pull back from reinforcements. Landborne Forces on the other hand would see crushing victory after victory, conquering multiple planets and only losing one Army Group in the process.
    20191117204824_1.jpg

Despite the setbacks, losses, and difficulties of the Campaign eventually the UFR would succeed against the Oen High Kingdom. This war had ultimately broken the Oen High Kingdom. The Royalty fled to the last remaining colonies it had, its navy was significantly cut to size due to being unable to support it. The Oen High Kingdom in its desperation began massive political pushes in a last dying gasp pushing Vassalization and pushing for alliances with other nations. During the war, on the homefront Xumlobb Inaverta had streamlined trade and resource gathering and management meaning that now the UFR was completely capable of fighting wars without putting a strain on its economy. Alongside this the push for equality with the Oens had calmed the now growing population of Oens. Oen heros were proclaimed during the third Oen-Formican war leading many martial enclaves to accept them for their bravery.

During the war and during the distraction, a growing power was threatening all of life within the Galaxy. Two Hiveminds that have risen in prominence through conquest and battle had grown in significant size leading to the destruction of many an empire. However when realizing the threat they both posed to another war was declared. Whomever won the war would become impossibly powerful, owning at least a fourth of the stars within the Galaxy. The galactic community began to open their eyes at this threat, a threat which the UFR was quickly finding to be more and more on their doorstep. They began a push for helping nations at war with the Hiveminds but quickly those nations would be overwhelmed too. The situation was becoming more and more apparent that The Hiveminds would need to be dealt with soon… before the galaxy is consumed by them.

    Chapter 5: Justice
  • Chapter 5: Justice (3222-3247)
The central administration of the UFR met in secret. The FRMCHE shuddered itself in hushed whispers. This sudden silence began to draw the attention of the UFR Populace. After a few months of silence, the Consul of the UFR surrounded by the governor of the now liberate Oden Prime, and of the Supreme Marshall of the UF announced what has become the most important moment in UFR history. They had announced that they were launching an Operation that would not only defeat the OHK but bring its royal family, who have managed to evade UFR forces for years, to justice.

On Oden Prime the Oens on world began to cheer at the announcement. The damages that the Royalty had wrought to their peoples and society would finally be met with meaningful catharsis. This moment saw a food of recruits amongst the Oen populace, soon matching the numbers of Formicans in the UFR military. It would take about a decade for the Military to be fully ready. Once ready the FRHMCE would bring the proposal to the Senate to which they would vote in overwhelming favour for. The Operation called “Falcon” would come into effect and the final war Oen-Formican war would begin.

    20191112172631_1.jpg

This war however would be different from the previous ones, as local galactic neighbours would join the UFR in their war including their longtime friends the Echor Commissariat. Quickly UFR forces flooded OHK territory and rapidly overwhelmed even the sturdiest battle fleets. Within three months of fighting the OHK Fleet had been completely annihilated. OHK occupied space was heavily blockaded to ensure that the Oen Royalty would come to justice. After weeks of intelligence gathering missions ultimately the Oen Royalty had been located on the last three remaining colony worlds.

    20191117000021_1.jpg

Xyp Lobbitka, the veteran of the 2nd Oen-Formican war and considered the Matron of Modern Planetary Infantry tactics formulated an assault plan to capture the Royalty. In what many call her specialty she emphasized an overwhelming force to capture the three worlds, with the primary UFR Invasion forces to be divided into three task forces. Once landed the forces quickly swept through planetary defensive garrisons. The following week after the invasion forces made planetfall, an Invasionary Force comprised of Oen volunteers nicknamed “The Bloody Hawks” for their tenaciousness in combat had announced that they had successfully captured the Oen Royalty on Visu's Haunt. The Family was caught trying to flee the planet once the capitol had been taken from the UFR.

    justice_1.jpg

With the capture of the Oen royal family, and with the surrender of a vassal of the OHK the Oen High Kingdom once and for all announced the surrender and capitulation of their nation. Oens and Formicans both cheered at the announcement and celebrations occurred throughout the Enclaves and Oen Nations. With the end of the post war celebrations, the Oen Enclave (the UFR name for the Oen Territories within UFR Space) begun the final criminal trials of the Oen Royalty. The trial was a spectacle. Many Oen survivors under their cruel rule had gave impassioned speeches, others gave weeping please to audiences to bring the Royalty to justice. During the case a few would be found dead in their cells, commiting suicide rather then dealing with whatever punishment lay before them. When it came to the Jury to determine the guiltiness of the Oen Royalty in their hienous crimes, spanning the death, torture, and mental maniputlation of generations of Oens the decision was uniamous. The Oen Royal family was found absolutely guilty, with not a single member in the Jury doubting their innocence.

The Oen royalty would be lined up in front of the Bloody Hawks Honor Guard. Their faces would be displayed across multiple screens across multiple planets. The rifles fired their lethal shots into the royalty, and with their deaths the Oen people now had finally found peace.

During this momentous war the hiveminds in the edge of the galaxy had done what many had predicted. The two hiveminds had declared war on each other, and soon the Lanjhoran Swarm would end up as the superpower after the fight. This newfound threat became the number one concern of the galaxy. The Lanjhoran Swarm in their war with their neighbour and their subsequent integration would emerge as the number one power in the Galaxy. This terrified the galaxy and many began to make motions towards dealing with the threat. It was the UFR that would make a grand announcement to the galactic community that would change their fate forever. Consul Cilxin Farkiverta gave a speech to the UFR. There he had announced that the UFR would become the premier defender of the galaxy and that plans to engage in a war to end the threat of the Lanjhoran Swarm were being formulated.

    20191117225435_1.jpg

The Galactic community, although not entirely moved by this announcement had nonetheless gained an increased opinion of the UFR. All that remained was for the UFR to prove that their words were more than simple talks…

The Consul looked at the poll results again, making sure he wasn’t dreaming.

“How is it this low?” Consul Luk Ekbokin said.

“The Swarm is too powerful sir.” Admiral Tateek Alkonos said.

Tateek was a rising star in the Voidborne Military Enclaves. Tateek was one of many Oen volunteers that rose through the ranks quickly. He participated in the Final Oen-Formican War and now stood as the head of State for the UFR.

“The FRHMCE has been wargaming it for a while now and every scenario doesn’t look pretty. Outside of that people just aren't interested in fighting anymore.” Admiral Tateek finished up.

Consul Luk Ekbokin tapped his mandibles. “This was my chance to become a hero, now I'm just going to end up as some desk jockey.” He said.

“Sometimes being a Desk Jockey as you say, is what the nation needs. The UFR has fought almost non-stop since it became a spacefaring nation, with maintenance being all over the place.” Alkonos said. “We need to wrangle all this territory together”

Ekbokin looked at the portrait of Luk Aspinaca, great hero of the Republic. “I was banking on a war with the swarm so that I could be like him. I won't be remembered administering and building there's nothing grand about that Alkonos.”

“‘There is honor in the task you do,’ Consul don't forget that.” Alkonos said.

“Yes, but tell that to the public.” Ekbokin said standing up “Hail Ekbokin, for he built roads and factories.” Ekbokin finished with a long sigh.

Alkonos stood there looking at Ekbokin. “Have you heard of the ancient Oen tales?” Alkonos said.

“Sorry but I haven’t. Enlighten me please.” Ekbokin said.

“There once was a small village. The Village was visited by an old Oen, with Greying thin feathers. The Oen walked throughout the Village and came across a Warrior. The Warrior sat sullen.

‘Why are you upset Warrior?’ The Oen asked, to which the warrior replied ‘I am upset because I have gained no Honor.’

The Oen looked at the warrior puzzled. ‘What makes you feel you have no honor?’ The Oen Asked.

‘I have done nothing worthy of it.’ The warrior said. ‘I have fought no foes, nor bested any beasts. I am stuck defending this village in the middle of nowhere.’ The Warrior said.

The Oen laughed and pointed to a farmer. ‘You see that farmer?’ The Oen said, ‘He plows the field, collects the crops, and repeats. No foe to best no beast to slay, yet he feels honor in his duty and why is that?’ The Oen asked.

The Warrior looked at the old Oen puzzled. ‘How does a farmer feel honor in his duty?’ The Warrior asked.

The Oen laughed again and responded “He grows the food that you eat to protect them from the brigands and monsters. He feels honor in his duty because his duty is vital to the village. Just as the smith, or the builder, they each find honor in their task because it is an important task that needs to be done. Were the Farmer to go away no crops would be grown, were the smith to go away no nails would be forged, were the builder be gone no nests would be built.’ The Oen pointed at the Warrior ‘were you to not guard this village it would become unprotected and would be attacked with ease even if it is not glorious, it's still important.’

The Warrior looked visibly happier and thanked the oen. ‘Thank you, however I have to ask you who are you old oen.’ The warrior said.

The old Oen looked at the warrior and said. ‘You already know who i am’ and vanished.”

Ekbokin sat thinking about the story for a moment. “And this is an old Oen tale?” Ekbokin asked.

“Yes, thanks to the UFR we’ve been working on recovering ancient parts of our history before the High Kingdom took over and reigned with an Iron Fist. Oens, and Formicans are not as different as we once thought.” Alkonos said.

“I have one question though, who was the old Oen.” Ekbokin asked.

“An Ancient deity, he was a wise old oen that would wander around the world and making many humble.” Alkonos said. “Thanks for the talk Ekbokin, but I have to get going now. I have some tasks that need to be done.” Alkonons said.

The Alkonos left the room and Ekbokin sat in silence. He sat back and repeated the words to himself. “There is honor in the task you do,”

    1. The Game is complete. With the Game being complete the story will finish for sure, It is going to have a conclusion for sure.
    2. With the Game being done, and with Federations on the Horizon I will post the stories as quickly as I can so I can wrap up this story in time for my third piece of news
    3. I have a major project on the Horizon. I dont wanna mention too much on it as I am only in the Frameworks of the project but I can say that it will be a major step for me personally so im super happy about that! This new project will for sure involve Stellaris but I wont expect to have anything out for atleast a month (more or less) after Federations drop.
That is pretty much the end of my status Announcement, again im sorry that my Hiatus was so long. Hopefully the rest of this story will make up for it ;)

Chapter 5: ...I left it a city of Marble (3247-3272)
  • Chapter 5: ...I left it a city of Marble (3247-3272)

The United Formican Republic was staring down the barrel of a very dangerous gun. The Lanjhoran Swarm had grown to an almost unwieldy size becoming a Hyperpower that was slowly growing to be even stronger than the ancient fallen empires that had existed for Time Immemorial. The Immediate focus of the new Consul Luk Ebokin was to consolidate the power of the UFR in a brave plan to surge in technology, and Industry. This was labeled an ambitious plan by most within the UFR but many were optimistic at how he planned to achieve this.
    Giorgio_Grecu_Concept_Art_Illustration_Environment_01.jpg

    Agri-Enclave 3252

Luk Ebokin, taking a page out of pre-existing Science Fiction books had developed a plan to create “Enclave Worlds”. Once deemed an impossibility, the large amount of worlds that now exists under the UFR could make this scenario a possibility. Planets begun massive specialization plans. Naxtac would remain as a cultural and administrative center of the UFR, Avik Zajkax had become an Agri-Enclave and other worlds would follow suit.

Following the collapse of the Oen High Kingdom one of their vassals the Lilicmarius Star Alignment, a rump state that stood on the edge of the galaxy had come to the UFR on a diplomatic mission. Following the failed war against the UFR and the destruction of the OHK the puppet regime that had been installed as the government of the LSA was deposed in a military coup. The LSA now stood in a crisis of politics as no side could agree on what path this new nation should take.

The New League, a coalition that had emerged from the following political turmoil, advocated for modeling the state after the UFR. After years of power grabs and consolidation the New League had emerged as the Dominant power within the LSA. After they won the local elections they began their immediate plans. The LSA envoys came to the UFR asking to become a formal protectorate so that they may copy and develop their government. After a tense series of debates and discussions the UFR eventually agreed and the LSA became a beneficiary under the UFR.

    Local Strategic View 3248

Following this time the UFR managed to sign an important treaty, a defensive pact between the Commissariat of Echor and the United Formican Republic. Any future war with the Swarm would have the backing and support of the UFR’s closest friend and allies. With this newfound security Luk Ebokin only doubled down on his economic plan, diverting military industry to help with his grand vision. Following the next election cycle however Consul Luk Ebokin had lost to Cilxin Farkiverta, governor of the central Naxtac Sector and head of the Xeno Suffrage Movement had beaten the consul in the election by a slim margin.

Three days later a whistleblower had brought to the attention that the election was rigged to ensure the victory of Cilxin. Following an official investigation it was found that he had indeed managed to gerrymander voting districts within Odor Prime. When news broke Odor Prime broke out into massive protests and sometimes riots, with many Oens on other worlds demanding that Cilxin step down immediately. Cilxin would eventually step down and would be arrested for corruption and voter manipulation. This following scandal crushed the power of the XSM, leading to Luk Ekbokin winning in a vast majority. With this new victory Luk vowed to establish stronger voting regulations and other policies to ensure that Formican politics could never be meddled with internally, or externally.

Following the Re-election of Luk Ekbokin, a battle between the remnants of the Thunvnuf Spreaders and the Regevania Syndicate had erupted into full blown war. The UFR had sent out a volunteer fleet to help the Regevania Syndicate during the war. While this was happening Luk announced his most ambitious plan yet: The Establishment of an Ecumonopolis World. Wekyp Ypacibb would begin immediate work on this plan, which would within time, turn it into the highest producer of UFR civilian goods tripling the combined Civilian goods output of all others combined. Following the turn of 3272 the ambitious plans of Luk Ekbokin had begun to take shape.

The UFR was in a overall economic boom, with Military Industrial output being able to churn out megatons of resources on a monthly basis. This had begun a new golden age across the UFR. Luk Ekbokin had turned the UFR from a cobbled together coalition of conquered territories and colonies, into a United Republic built of Marble.

Chapter 6: The Golden Age of the UFR (3272-3297)
  • Chapter 6: The Golden Age of the UFR (3272-3297)

The UFR was experiencing an age of grandeur that had never been seen before in its history. The living standards within the UFR were Utopic, with poverty becoming non-existent. It is estimated by various Economists that the average citizen of the UFR now had more wealth than all of the richest Formicans throughout history combined. This relative Utopia had allowed for a cultural Renaissance.

The most famous figure to emerge from this time was Crumklac Inaxinikiris, who styled herself as a spiritual guru. She grew to become highly influential on Zaktic Zajkax, becoming a close advisor to the planetary governor. Soon she began a campaign to tour the various planets and sectors across the UFR, which only accelerated her popularity. Many had claimed that they had experienced a fundamental shift in their life. Her influence grew to be so great that she had managed to help the Alliance of Spiritualists win the election despite having a 11% projected voting percentage.
    20200126212942_1.jpg

While there was worries that Crumklac was on the verge of becoming a tyrant, the AoS had placed Tateek Alkonos as the head candidate for the 3281 election. Tateek became the first Oen in UFR history to become a Consul. Tateek earned a great deal of respect climbing through the ranks during the 3rd Oen-Formican war eventually becoming Admiral of the Famous Mekadanc Void Swarm. Following the war he would become a close military advisor to Luk Ebokin. Tateek Alkonos would personally lead the Tribunal responsible for the arrest of Cilxin which would go on to solidify his reputation amoungst his own species. Tateek assured everyone that Crumklac was merely an advisor, and that he would will defend the republic. He promised that he would bridge a slowly growing gap between Oens and Formicans following the Cilxin Scandal.

Upon the creation of the new Ecumonopolis world instead of turning it into a Consumer Goods world, as was its original plan, Tateek had turned the world into the capital of all Cultural Enclaves within the UFR. The world was to be a center of harmony, not only for Oens and Formicans but for all species in the galaxy promising safe harbour and freedom for all. Soon the planet teemed with all sorts of species from all sorts of backgrounds. From the offspring of a slave race that escaped slavery in hopes of living a free life, to simple interplanetary tourists wishing to kick back and relax, Wekyp Ypacibb rapidly became the heart of the Formican Identity.

Around this time Scientists in various Formican Scientific Enclaves had begun experiments to see if Formicans had some form of Psionic potential. Through a series of tests and screenings they were able to find out that Formicans indeed had latent psionic potential. The nature of these powers revealed that Formicans could see brief glimpses into time. Without training this ability would slip through sleep or as a brief momentary image. With sufficient training however Formicans could manage to see events in the future with startling efficiency.

When this Psionic potential had been announced to the public the implications were startling. Many had begun to theorize how long Formicans had this dormant Psionic potential, with many looking back into the past. A prevailing theory began to arise with historians that Kracax Hulkrab might have actually seen the future. Other historians would even go so far to say that he had harnessed this ability leading to his incredible victories. The issue still remains a hotly debated topic among UFR Historians. It is likely that the UFR will never know the extent of Kracax's Psionic Abilities. These debates only sparked an initiative better help those with these Psionics abilities, and to better study these abilities multiple Psionic Enclaves across every planet.

Following the War between the Thunvnuf Spreaders and the Regevania Syndicate would emerge with the Syndicate becoming the victors destroying the Thunvnuf Spreaders. The Volunteer Fleets would come back to the UFR, with more Graffiti than they left with, and brought back expertise in how to better fight Hivemind like creatures. This expertise would prove vital, with these new tactics soon becoming incorporated into UFR battle doctrine.

Luk Ekbokin would not live to see this victory being found dead in his Estate at the old age of 117 years of age. Many mourned the loss of this great figure and many memorials were constructed in his honor. Following this death, Crumklac Inaxinikiris would also die passing peacefully away in her sleep. The nation mourned deeply for her loss, with Wekyp Ypacibb going completely silent for one day to mourn her loss. Tateek commissioned the construction of a great shrine to this guru on her homeworld of Zaktic Zajkax. When completed the Mausoleum when completed would become a site of pilgrimage not only for the religious, but for those who are lost in life.

As the volunteer Fleets fell back for important refittings and upgrades, a raiding fleet from the Misav Marauders was detected on the edge of UFR space heading deep into UFR territory at Gale-speed. The venerable and legendary Mekadanc Void Husk rushed to meet the Marauders at Eruos. The Battle of Eruos would crush the Marauders with minimal casualties. The Marauders fell back into their collection of territories whimpering and the UFR had proven the might of its military forces.

    Chapter 7: OPERATION: XELRAV (3297-3322)
  • Chapter 7: OPERATION: XELRAV (3297-3322)

With the increase of industry and resources, eventually the Golden Age of the UFR would come to an end. Economic insecurity grew as various industries began to fall short of production quotas. Engineering Enclaves began tossing out various mega-engineering plans to help remedy the various issues. To solve the raw resource shortfall, various planet cracker mining stations had been constructed across rocky planets across the UFR. Space born Alloy foundries harnessing the power of Neutron Stars would also be constructed, with Gas Giant Dyson Spheres providing large amounts of energy. These small scale projects had given Engineering Enclaves the necessary insights into constructing the truly hypothetical Mega-Engineering projects

    Odor Prime Ecumonpolis

Odor Prime would soon emerge as another Ecumonopolis world, contributing to the Civilian Industry. The plans were supported by Oen Officials and soon the planet would become the Industrial heart of the Formican Republic. The Consumer Goods were picking up again, cracked worlds across the UFR had brought back the needed raw materials, and energy credits had seen a boom once more. Once the economy had picked up under Tateek’s administration, he had begun an ambitious idea. He met secretly with Echor politicians and both began the draft of a Federation. The Galactic Peoples Union would be a Federation dedicated to bringing the ideals of Egalitarianism across the galaxy was formed.

The UFR became the new head of this Federation and with its declaration, the UFR begun immediate plans to implement a plan to beat the Lanjhoran Swarm once and for all: OPERATION: XELRAV. The fleet was sent out to kill a massive Ether Drake as a formal operational evaluation. In the battle the Ether Drake, a creature so fearsome that its home system was designated off limits, was defeated with minimal losses. Following this successful operation, Tateek gathered all the fleets. The Economy transitioned to a full time war economy, and military personnel were placed on high alert. The UFR and CoE had constructed a joint federation fleet with the plans of becoming even more powerful.

    Mekadanc Void Swarm awaiting orders

On the Dawn of the 26th of 12th month of 3311, OPERATION: XELRAV was executed and war was declared on the Lanjhoran Swarm with the full backing of the Commissariat of Echor. This became the largest war in galactic history, with the majority of the western rim at war with the Southern rim. Formican forces surged forward to designated targets conquering station after station. The Formican Landborne forces, utilizing a experimental psychic force, landed on various worlds conquering world after world with major successes.

The first battles with the Lanjhoran Swarm war was met as their fleets finally managed to meet up with the Formican fleets. At the first battle of the war at the Duh system, Formican forces would beat back a swarm void cluster in a pyrrhic victory. The legendary Mekadanc Void Swarm would fare better in the battle of Schuth where they would win a more straightforward victory against the swarm. The Fleets would conquer their pre-designated systems and Engineering Enclaves would begin work on massive defensive stations.

Some Void husks defended these stations, while others pushed forward to try and disrupt any attacks. This later strategy failed when the Polatricall Void Husk would be met with a fatal ambush. In deep space Polatricall would be ambushed by multiple Swarm Vessels and would have to perform an emergency FTL jump. Following this ambush UFR forces would focus on defense and would dig in trying to bleed out the Swarm instead of disrupting them. Echor fleets were still far away from the Swarm space so the UFR would have to heavily rely on itself.

    Battle of Jajayek 17.02.3317

The war would eventually begin to take a toll, not only on the Galactic Peoples Union but on the Swarm as well with both sides becoming rapidly exhausted. The Swarm tossed out waves after waves of starships at UFR Void Swarms. UFR Void Swarms were supplied with daily ship reinforcements to supplement their almost daily losses. Following this battle in a region of space occupied by a collection of bandits, and Marauders a warlord would grow to prominence. Eventually through clever fighting and a almost snake like cunning in politics a great khan would arise within that sector of space.

Following this news the UFR and the Swarm agreed to a white peace, and the UFR pulled back to begin campaigns of ending this Great Khan. Their region of space bordered the edge of GPU space. The Khan met with nearby nations, declaring war on everyone and begun fighting wildly. The Khan would be met by a swift and effective end however when the Commissariat of Echor’s battle fleet spelled doom for her. With the death of Pranga Drotaa the Krashneti Horde had managed to organize her nascent empire into a new nation that would hopefully carry on her legacy.

With the great Khan dead, and OPERATION XELRAV becoming a success, the Galactic People's Union is proving to be a formidable power within this galaxy.

  • Chapter 8: Storm on the Horizon (3322-3347)

The public was in mourning when the news broke that Tateek Alkonos died at the age of 105 years old. Many called this the end of an era. Tateek was the last of the great generals that fought in the Oen-Formican wars. With his death his consulship would come to an end. The economic uncertainty that rose up during his term in office would largely be eradicated. The birth of the GPU meant that now the UFR was safe and secure in the strongest alliance in the galaxy. Following the success of OPERATION XELRAV the Lanjhoran Swarm was now believed to be easily conquered following a new battleplan.

    Commissariat of Echor L-Gate
It was around this time that the Commissariat of Echor announced that they were opening up the enigmatic L-Gate Cluster. When the L-Gate was opened it came to be found out that a Civilization was responsible for its creation and still existed within a secure cut off area of space known as the L-Cluster. The Civilization known as the Dessanu Consonance. The Dessanu Consonance were vague, and distant. Only answering questions and not engaging in any diplomacy. When pressed on the construction of the L-Gate Dessanu delegates would grow exceedingly annoyed with some even threatening war should this question be pushed further. Ultimately the Dessanu Consonance was left alone. L-Gate access however was free and open to all who go through.

With the Construction of Gateways inspired off of the L-Gates, the UFR built a series of Gateways across space. This drastically cut down travel time across the galaxy by years. With these constructed the FRHMCE announced that they were launching OPERATION DECAPITATION a massive operation to drastically cut the Lanjhoran Swarm down to size. The Galactic Peoples Union agreed to this operation and began the necessary military preparations.
    20200222200943_1.jpg

    Badlands of the Galaxy
The bordering area of the Commissariat of Echor was largely considered by the galactic community to be the wild west of the galaxy. Fractured empires and nation-states fought constantly for control or supremacy over each other. The Commissariat of Echor was forced to constantly intervene in the local area, much to the chagrin of the locals in the area. Following the Military preparations for OPERATION DECAPITATION the Innish Alliance of Territories struck the Commissariat.

The Innish Alliance of Territories is commonly characterized by their irrational conspiracy theories involving the galaxy trying to dominate them. The IAT was always either laughed at or dismissed in return. Following the Military build up for OPERATION DECAPITATION the IAT believed that this was a part of a grand plan to soon conquer them. In response IAT State agents infected Commissariat of Echor computer systems with a self propagating virus that turned Shipboard AI hostile.
    interior_battle.jpg

Leaked footage of Echor soldiers fleeing Robotic soldiers.
This Virus rapidly spiraled out of control and evolved as it jumped from ship to ship eventually infecting a third of Commissariat vessels. The Viruses began to infect Robotic workers and automated factories. To contain the spread the CoE issued a temporary total shutdown of all computer systems for 24 hours. This contained the virus, but ultimately led to multiple worlds becoming lost to Robotic swarms. The amalgamation of robots, vessels, and automated worlds referred to itself as the Techarus Index. This machine hivemind swarmed in every direction, fighting every empire that stood in its way.

One fleet called the Vigilant Security Echelon managed to punch its way straight through all the way to Xelcrax, the capital of the UFR. Never had the threat of an attack on Xelcrax has been thought of as possible. The last time an enemy nation stepped foot in Xelcrax was back in the 1st Oen-Formican war. A newly created Void Swarm, Vactix Void Swarm, sped forward to meet the Vigilant Security Echelon in Xelcrax to buy the rest of the Formican Void Swarms time to catch up. The battle filled the day sky on Naxtac as lasers and explosions went every which way.
    20200223195732_1.jpg

    The Battle of Xelcrax
During this time a fallen empire called the Zecalan Peacekeepers began to awaken from their slumber. Centuries old industries and anchorages fired into life. Impossibly advanced research foundations began activating and the Zecalan began aggressive diplomacy. When diplomats pressed the Zecalan as to why they were suddenly rising from their slumber, they cited that the rise of conflicts and wars was beginning to bring unwanted attention to this galaxy. If this galaxy were to survive, the Zecalan argued, they must rise up to protect them.

The remaining of the UFR Void Swarm met in Xelcrax to beat the now two fleets in Xelcrax in an apocalyptic battle. The Entirety of the Formican Void Swarms participated in this battle. Eventually UFR forces would win this battle, albeit at a massive cost with most of the Void Swarms becoming lost in the battle. Many called this a pyrrhic victory, however what most did not realize at this time was that this one battle was perhaps the most decisive one in the machine war. Never again after this battle would the Machine Swarm focus on the offensive. Following the successes of the Commissariat of Echor in responding to the Machine Intelligence meant that any route into the UFR was effectively cut off. The UFR Void Swarm was allowed time to rebuild its military, and soon met forth with the Commissariat of Echor to deal with the Machine Intelligence.
    20200223195244_1.jpg

Revitalized Warswarm of the UFR 3343
The UFR would help retake stations and planets along-side the help of the Commissariat of Echor. The UFR would get their revenge at the battle of Cerurnskelsayhat. The Heart of the Formican Military, the Mekadanc Void Swarm, would attack the station that held a Security Echelon in the system would ultimately beat the fleet with few losses. Soon the allied fleets would bring victory after victory against the Military intelligence. Rapidly the Techarus Index lost system after system, and planet after planet. After the planetary battle of Klipdei, the last of the Techarus Index was scrubbed from the galaxy. Remnants and husks from the Techarus Index units were used to better understand how to stop such an event from happening again.

The UFR celebrated this victory, and the UFR was once again safe from foreign invasion. The GPU held an emergency session on what to do with the IAT following the hugely destructive Machine uprising. It was determined that an investigation into the matter was the best course of action. When investigating the Techarus code they found out that the IAT was supplied the code by the Vabonpian Slaving Party in an attempt to halt the growing power of the GPU. When news of this broke, the GPU was outraged. In a vote the GPU unanimously declared war on the Vabonpian Slaving Party.

The GPU invaded the Vabonpian Slaving Party but many failed to see the storm that was gathering on the horizon.

    Chapter 9 The Tempest: (3347-3372)
  • Chapter 9: (3347-3372)
    20200227165018_1.jpg

    Battle of Gikal

The Vabonpian GPU war was considered a failure. The plan of the war was to liberate the nation into a more amenable government. However the defensive nature of the Vabonpian Slaving Party meant that the fighting was tooth and nail. This war was not entirely in the Vabonpian’s favour however as the Slaving Party suffered from a growth in Slave uprisings and a plumet in its economy. The war would instead end in a White Peace with the GPU. The GPU member-fleets fell back into their homeworlds, and the VSP licked its wounds learning its very painful lesson.

While all of these events were occuring the UFR had begun massive mega-engineering projects. A fully fledged Dyson Sphere had been constructed effectively eliminating any Energy concerns the UFR would ever have. The UFR had constructed a Galactic Assembly, a massive station that could house billions of delegates from across the galaxy. Many other constructions had begun with ambitious plans to turn the UFR into an impossibly advanced nation. However the primary focus of the UFR was the elimination of the Lanjhoran Swarm once and for all.
    20200227190412_1.jpg

    UFR Galactic Assembly

OPERATION DECAPITATION had commenced with full GPU approval and the campaign begun. Rapidly the UFR Voidswarms pushed out to take system after system and crushed fleet after fleet in a turn of events after the 1st Swarm containment war. Coalitionary Armies landed on planets. Scenes from these invasions looked like something from an action film with dozens of Swarming Lanjhoran charging heavily fortified coalition forts and defences.

Lanjhoran Swarm fleets resorted to Hit-N-Run tactics on reinforcement fleets in an attempt to bleed out the invading forces. These meager attempts to halt the invasion forces were ultimately not enough to halt the attacks. Even with the GPU being hugely successful in their blitz deep into Swarm territory, it ultimately drained a lot of the fleets and exhausted the nations within the GPU. After the last areas were consolidated and the frontlines stagnated, a peace was signed with the Swarm hivemind.
    20200227221701_1.jpg

    Political Map following Operation Decapitation

The United Formican Republic began to celebrate their victory, knowing that one more battle would crush the swarm once and for all. This was until the Zecalan Peacekeepers sent out an enigmatic message to all empires. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

A portal opened up in the Oxcliri System, from the portal strange translucent fleets began pouring out in ever increasing numbers. The force that poured out of the Oxcliri System called itself The Unbidden. The following years would be marked by the Unbidden pushing out meeting little resistance. GPU fleets and others that pushed outwards to meet these forces reported their ships seemingly disintegrating, with targeting arrays unable to fire on these ships due to their seemingly erratic jumps through space.
    20200228215625_1.jpg

    The Unbidden arrives

When the Zecalan Peacekeepers joined the GPU they explained to the galaxy what these things were and where they came from. The Unbidden are interdimensional invaders, their purpose is unclear and what their motives are is also unclear. The Zecalan Peacekeepers explained that ages ago the galaxy once was a lot like this one, bright and full of life. Then it was attacked by the Unbidden. Many tried to end them and failed. Soon the only ones to survive the galaxy was what was now referred to as “Fallen Empires”. At the height of the Unbiddens' power they just as mysteriously vanished.

Both Fallen Empires were afraid to explore beyond their borders and soon they fell into a slumber throughout the aeons. The Zecalan had noticed similar signs to the original emergence of the Unbidden and hence they began their aggressive diplomacy and rebuilding. The Zecalan Peacekeepers let it be known that right now was the only time the Unbidden could possibly be stopped, if the galaxy is to survive this calamity they must throw everything they have at them before they grow too powerful. They tossed their lot in with the GPU citing its power and unity as being the galaxy's best hope. The UFR sent out its fleets in an attempt to halt the Unbidden only to be met with the worst battle in UFR history with an almost total fleet destruction following a battle with only one fleet.
    20200302015102_1.jpg

The only surviving record from the disastrous battle of Heathstone

These fleets fell back limping and immediately the UFR began serious campaigns to study the Unbidden to better fight them. The GPU also pushed out to deal with the Unbidden only to be met with more and more failures. This could be the beginning of the end for a young galaxy...

    UFR Voidswarm Tateek battling Unbidden

The Galaxy was desperate to stop the Unbidden. The Galactic Peoples Union issued a total military mobilization of all members and open border policy. Billions of scientific minds and generals came together to figure out how to stop the Unbidden from growing any further. The UFR was in shock. The Voidswarm, the pride and joy of the UCR military, had been broken and shattered from the few engagements with the Unbidden. Zecalan Peacekeeper fleets were churned out in droves, above nearly arcane shipyards that could produce billions of ships in the blink of an eye. However every attempt, every battle met with catastrophic and humiliating failure.

Unbidden vessels danced throughout space dodging projectiles moving almost the speed of light. Their Commanders seemed to have a knowledge of any ambushes or traps from any naval commander. The Nations of the Galaxy was hopeless to contain the Unbidden. To make matters worse, the Lanjhoran Swarm had seized the opportunity it needed to survive. With the galaxy’s back turned the Swarm rapidly began conquering and assimilating their neighbours growing in size and strength similar to where they were before operation DECAPITATION.

The Map of the Galaxy during the time of Crisis

In Desperation the UFR Psionics met in desperation. Long have they been aware of a hidden realm only accessible to those with Psychic potential. The tapping into this mysterious realm was banned, but with the disaster these laws were repealed as the UFR was searching for any advantage in this situation. The Psionics tapped into the Shroud and begun stumbling across hidden insights and wondrous mysteries. Further studies within the UFR had also found out that Psionics had some ability to predetermine or atleast read the maneuvers of Unbidden vessels.

Psionic Scientists were able to unravel the mystery of these ships and pushed for initiatives to reverse engineer Unbidden Vessels. Thousands of Expeditionary Void Swarms were sent to secure ruined husks and to defend these vital dissections. Slowly but surely however, the UFR engineering corps begun formulating Void Husk plans for what they referred to as “Anti-Unbidden Ships”. Coupled with insights that Psionics were able to gather from the shroud the UFR ultimately were able to better perfect these anti-unbidden ships. The voidswarm of the UFR were then refitted to these new designs. The refitting efforts were massive, and millions of engineers threw everything they had to expedite the refittings. After nearly a year of refitting and redesigning the Anti-Unbidden Ships were ready to begin their crusade.

The UFR Fleet ushered out forward in silence, manervouring throughout space to meet at their rendezvous point. The Galaxy began to murmur about these clandestine movements coming from the UFR. It wasnt until the UFR Void Swam arrived in the Nonnkuth system that the UFR informed the galaxy of their intentions. Across news outlets from all corners of the galaxy the might of the UFR filled the screen as thousands of ships moved through the void with the voice of their Swarm Admiral Axan Lobbinirikis spoke.
    20200304170232_1.jpg

The UFR Voidswarm revitalized and ready to battle.

    “Citizens of the Galaxy,
The unbidden has slaughtered countless planets and killed countless numbers.
The Unbidden had broken all who dared face them in battle, leaving only ruined husks and dead in their wake.
They once broke the might of the UFR, but no longer. I lead now the galaxy’s best hope at destroying these abominable fiends and sending them back to whatever dimension they came from.
If the Unbidden are hearing this, then you should run in fear.
For so long as one formican is left
So long as one ship is left
So long as one member of this galaxy is left
    We will fight,
And we will keep fighting to scour you from our galaxy.
Citizens of the Galaxy, Fear not, for the United Formican Republic has awoken,
The Unbidden shall be cast asunder under the might of our weapons and the wisdom of our commanders,
Citizens of the Galaxy, We are your sword, we are your torch, we are your saviours!"

    The battle was cataclysmic.

Thousands of UFR Voidswarms engaged a vanguard Unbidden force on the outskirts of their outwards campaign, and following a brief battle the UFR emerged victorious. The UFR pushed onwards clearing dimensional anchor, after dimensional anchor. Void Swarm after Void Swarm battled the Unbidden Fiercely, only for the UFR to emerge victorious. With every battle the UFR Void Swarm only grew stronger.
    20200304203951_1.jpg

    UFR Assault on Unbidden Fleet

The campaign against the Unbidden was succeeding beyond the galaxy's wildest expectations, leading to renewed initiatives to strike against the unbidden. The UFR Voidswarm however met with a terrifying battle at Emyth.

The Unbidden was growing ever fearful of this UFR Void Swarm. So Unbidden Vessels had set an ambush at the star of Emyth. When the UFR Void Swarm arrived in Emyth Unbidden Vessels swarmed the star quickly overwhelming the UFR Void Swarm in Emyth. The Unbidden outnumbered the UFR nearly 100 to 1, and UFR vessels were forced to fight desperately. Ships fired at unbidden vessels at point blank range, others voluntarily sacrificed their damaged ships to become makeshift suicide bombs. Every measure was taken to try and scrape some kind of victory out of this battle. The Galaxy watched the battle of Emyth with bated breath as the hopes, dreams, and desires of an entire galaxy saw these brave warriors fighting in a hopeless battle to defend the entire galaxy.
    20200306125647_1.jpg

Leaked Footage of the Battle of Emyth tactical display

Slowly the Void Swarm broke Unbidden vessel after vessel. It started as one vessel, then two, then a fleet, and soon Fleet after fleet broke or routed from the battle. Eventually the UFR Void Swarm, exhausted badly battered, and on the point of breaking had emerged victorious. The Galaxy was elated and celebrated this legendary battle with billions of parades and celebrations. Empires across the galaxy began asking the UFR for advice on how to construct their own Anti-Unbidden Fleets. Lucrative entertainment deals were made with the various members and commanders of the UFR Void swarms that participated in the battle of Emyth. This battle had become not only a legendary stand against the Unbidden, but became the rally cry a galaxy desperately needed to take the fight back to the unbidden.

Soon Echor Vessels broke into Unbidden ships and began breaking Dimensional Anchors, Zecalan Peacekeepers began waging hit and run assaults on Unbidden Fleets, Vonbonpian Slavers rallied their navy to take back stars that once rightfully belonged to them. Empires of all backgrounds began helping in some way and soon the entire galaxy was overwhelming the Unbidden. Where before Emyth the Unbidden had pushed without any fear of being halted, afterwards the Unbidden’s territory was rapidly shrinking.

Once the UFR Void Swarm was reinforced and regained their strength from the battle of Emyth, they began pushing outwards to destroy anchor after anchor. Soon all anchors were destroyed, and all that was left was the system they had emerged from: Oxcliri. The UFR Void Swarm met at this most auspicious battle and fought the stubborn remnants of the Unbidden Navy. The battle was fierce as the Unbidden fought in a desperate and almost feral behavior. Eventually the Fleet was destroyed, and the titan led by the Legendary Swarm General Axan Lobbinirikis opened fire on the dimensional portal.
    20200306180529_1.jpg

    The Final Battle of Oxcliri

The portal dissipated from the galaxy. The remaining Unbidden that were left now roamed the galaxy without purpose. The Unbidden, the interdimensional invaders had finally been broken. UFR Void Swarms came back to their rally points and were hailed as heros, not only to the UFR, but to the Galaxy as a whole. Before the UFR began soaking in the glory and resting from their campaigns, the UFR had announced to the Galactic community a final war to put an end to their ancient rivals the Lanjhoran Swarm. The Galaxy agreed to help the UFR against the swarm. The Galaxy rapidly invaded the Swarm and assaulted world after world. No planet or system was to be left in the control of the Swarm.

Unbidden Veterans easily routed even the mightiest fleets, and International Invasion forces conquered planet after planet.
