The war ended with a white peace. The largest engagement for us was when the upstart Ukrainians actually tried to blockade Gibraltar. We taught them a lesson right quick...
The entire world has gone colony crazy. Eire has trading posts in west Africa and Peru, and a colony in Sicily; the Iroquois have them in equitorial Africa and attempted to place one in Friesland. Wales went from Irish to Ukrainian to Incan and back to Irish. As for ourselves, we have placed small colonies in the Cape Verdes and Fernando Po, but these will only be weigh stations for further exploration - we hope to egt contact with what the Mameluks call the "Mughals" and any other nation that lies beyond the deserts of the Middle East.

BARCELONA, February 10, 1610: The Incan-Catalonian-Irish Alliance, originally formed to contain a threat from the Ukrainians, dissolved today as Cuzco and Barcelona refused to get involved in a war between Eire and an Iroquois-Mughal alliance.
"This would be a global war, and would threaten our colonies in Africa as well as our exploration efforts" said Minister of State Ponce de Leon. "The alliance was formed at first to contain a perceived threat from the Ukraine to within the confines of the Mediterreanean Sea and eastern Atlantic, and this war is not within that scope."
Palace officials had no comment from Queen Deidre, who is from Eire, other than to say Her Majesty is sequestered alone at her own request.

Catalonia is like a tranquil island in a sea of turmoil. The fiercest fighting ever seen in the history of the Age of Expansion took place between the Iroquois and Eire this year. Sicily and Dalmatia have changed hands several times, as Eire seems to be getting the worst of it. Catalon gave a loan of 300 ducats to Eire in the hope they would use it to get a peace settlement with indemnity, but this did not occur. We moved 6,000 troops to Malta and the same amount to Messina to protect our fledgling colonies from any residual violence. We also moved 11,000 troops from Wurzburg to Istria, and this was a fortunate decision....
There is a rebellion in Dalmatia, and it has spread to Croatia. Rebel scum are in control of both Irish provinces. Our forces were in our province of Istria to protect Catalonian lives and property. From the reports, 3,000 Rebels crossed the border, and when met with our forces, they demanded the province be ceded to them as part of "Greater Dalamatia." Of course, this was not about to happen, and the scum were send packing, but not before at least a hundred of their kind lay dead.
Well, you've certainly got plenty of CoTs there. For those of us who don't play Fantasia that often, what are all those other colors on the map (I remember red Eire from the EU1 tutorial but that's about it)

China has no colonies outside of the Orient (smart move, IMO) but would be Dk Blue.

Your campaign level maps are really nice! It is great to see a true Fantasia AAR being played and written. Keep it up!
This AAR is great. I have always thought that Fantasia Scenario is too boring but with this AAR, my opinion has changed. Maybe it would be more exciting with a dozen of more countries but you have created an interesting atmosphere.

The only country to successfully DI has been Pommern, from Eire, and that was on its second try. Jodhpur, Mecklenberg and Holstein exist, but are really "joke states" because they only have TP's.
