And next time, please, please see to it that Europe gets the game at the same time as NA. It sucks to read about new features and looking at screenshots while on the other side of the ocean they are playing the game already.

That is never going to happen. The best we here on the other side of the pond is going to have is a couple of weeks. Still, thats much better than the current situation. This is unless EA buys paradox and puts their mighty distributing system at work.

Hmm, flawed statement. I think Shogun was pretty nice and EA owns their ass bigtime.
. Still in most examples you have a point, bigger is often worse. That can perhaps be tributed to the fact that the visionaries have a tendency to leave the companies and start their own which of course starts the circle over again.

The first time I heard of EU was when the Underdogs featured it, otherwise I would have known several months later when the UK PC Gamer gave it 57%.
He, He the big boys didn´t rate it to well. I discovered it on some site that specialized in strategy games (don´t remember it´s name). Anyhow they were praising the game to the skies giving it a whopping 5 out of 5, and when I read what the game was about I ran to the nearest store and picked up a copy. Besides those guys on UK PC Gamer is a little narrowminded. Anything that has the name quake or half-life on it gets a near perfect score no matter how boring it might be. I´m not saying those games are bad but they are not that good as the magazine thinks.
EU does great in word-of-mouth, which any advertiser will tell you beats slick marketing 9/10 times

My "dismay" was caused partly by the fact that they have games like Silent Hunter 2, Conquest, Conflict Zone, Myst 3 coming out before xmas. They are all better known games than EU and I am sure that they would receive more attention from Ubisoft. It appears I was correct.
A search of their NA and UK websites reveals very little about EU2. Whilst the others have many mentions.
I would have had more confidence in Koch doing a job on EU2 as they are a smaller company and dont have such big titles to rely on.
Its just my opinion - I am probably wrong in voicing it but its done

IIRC you have left EU2 in italy to Leader. well,not to say that other distributors are better (at least Leader doesn't change the box art like CTO), but I hope they are going to be quicker that what they did for EU1.
BTW: I have never bought an italian version since Frontier, due to patch delays...
I thought Paradox was an old software house. I remeber the logo in an amiga game named "Shadow Of the Beast",namely the most difficult game to play: the second level was a dream for many...
