For England and For St. George ~
A Rise of Violence AAR
A Rise of Violence AAR
Prologue:
Come 1936 the fortunes of the Kingdom of England stands with its dominant position in the British Isles under threat. Not since the landing of the Spanish Armada in the south had England faced such a threat. Unlike the other powerful monarchy's in Europe, England had not managed to acquire a large overseas empire. The early neutralising of England's burgeoning power in the days of Queen Elizabeth had cemented England's place as a Europe central power turning inwards and outside of the campaigns of the Wellesley brothers in India securing England's hold over the sub-continent England had turn to concentrating totally upon creating in the home isles an industrial power base that by 1936 has managed to climb to be one of the strongest in Europe.
With the accession of the ambitious young King Edward VIII the year before England is finally breaking its self imposed isolation. With the insinuation of the communist menace leaking across the borders of the Soviet Union into Europe proper. With a civil war in France breaking out and splitting the country in twain and many states in the east of Europe under threat from the red menace. Edward and his chosen Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin shall have to try and keep the reins on the people of England tight, to try and stop the Red Menace, but first to carve out England's deserved place, as the strongest of the monarchy's and as the longest unconquered country in the world.
This is a time of opportunity for England, with China and Japan warring in the east and Germany weakened after the Great War and now with the monarchy deposed and this man, this Hitler taking the rightful place of the Hohenzollern family it seemed that all of the world is falling into ruin and chaos.
