So i have played a couple of games and one thing I never noticed until I read about it, but in every game practically all empire reaches the space age around the same time, there is evidence that there were previous civilizations that all disappeared without a trace. For example in the cyberex lore it mentions other races that teamed up to end the cyberex, what happened to those civs sure a bunch of stuff could have happened but you find absolutely nothing left and no hint at what ended them. Also what caused the fallen empires to fall in on themselves, if they had wanted to they could easily have conquered the enitre galaxy before the young empires were born. Sure there could have been wars that made them do it, but for it to happen to every single one of them seems far fetched. Could there have been a galatic wide threat that eliminated everyone and the fallen empires survived by laying low? (reapers or some nomadic warlike race or even a super organism)

Also paradox has stated they would like to try to implement planet killers (which is awesome) however I do have some worries about them. If you remember the victory conditions are about being last man standing or owning a percentage of "habitable planets", so if planet killers turn planets into unhabitable ones or destroys them completely isnt it going to be easier to win by simply blasting enemy planets during wars rendering them unusable. I know there could be a bunch of balancing but its just something I thought would be fun to think about.

Lastly (this is a bit more personnal) but whenever I face something really cool or intimidating I always want to learn its story as much as possible. For the leviathans this was partly satisfied with the curators who gave you decent lore behind each one (although I wish we could learn even more about them example: how did the stellar devourer come to be and what is blocking the dimensionnal horror from completing its entry), however, for he crisis apart from the robot rebellion you learn practically nothing from them.
For the prethoryn you know they are space animals that infect everything, yet if you look at the age of their leaders they are all around 1000 years old meaning they have been around for some time before you showed up. They left me wondering about their life cycles what happens when they have infected the entire galaxy do they leave and move onto the next? If so what about their galaxy of origin if they infected it all then doesnt that mean they could eventually send more invasions, and when you think about it they don't have that many ships when they initially arrive. Maybe some died of hunger or they might have lost in their original galaxy and ran away with the few surviving members which brings up another question what would they have lost against. Was your galaxy the only one they attempted to invade?

So many questions left unanswered (same for the unbidden, how they came to be, what is this throne they mention etc), I seriously hope one day paradox adds even just a bit of lore about them. (Also hope one day they add more crisis)
