If starting a city with Skylines, is the terrain outside of the first tile selected visible from the start of the game.
I thought one cool idea or option would be if you could start your city with random terrain but you did not know what it looked like until you unlocked that tile option.
Then you would have to adapt your city plans to the terrain as you go through the game.

While I'm all in favour of as many options as possible this is not a very realistic idea.

Since it's a modern city builder it's not very likely that the developers of a new city doesn't know how the surrounding terrain looks like.

As an option it could be interesting, but it should not be the default setting.
