Focus Tree Change?

I recently played Chzek Republic (Sry for not using the long one Slovakia) and I felt that especially the millitary focuses are extremly out of place and very lengthy for only meager bonuses.

I just felt that you dont get anything good out of them but the minus 10percent production cost for planes, which is all. For the 5 research slot you need to go way down.

It just feels that it is meant to be slow as to keep you busy to 1945. I for once dont mind that by 1945 you dont have too much left in a focus. You only need the focuese to really do something before the war in 45 you will have either achieved all you whanted or be dead anyways so no point in reasearching some doctrine buffs you will be through that way before.

How do you feal?

They have learnt a lot about creating focus trees over the past few years.

They are (slowly) updating the ones in the core game with only USSR & Italy left to go. Everybody would like them to also update the trees in Together for Victory & Death or Dishonor (and the free Polish tree) but we've no idea how long it will take them to do so (if they ever do)

tech bonuses used to be a lot more powerful and focus tree used to be a lot more about compromising on what you want to do first rather then it being really obvious which way you should go first

Technically Poland (the day 0 free DLC) is also on the list of the original 8 they want to update, so 3 of 8 need updates. That being said, Poland will probably not be the focus of a DLC and will most likely get it either along with the USSR update (1.11 hopefully) or as part of a country Pack (Scandinavia?, Baltics?, or filling in the blanks that have been left out (i.e., Belgium)).
