Heh, I have hardly the time to read all posts here, much less participate in them all. (I'm kinda busy programming this project called EU2)
Anyway, the sliders are not sliders really (thats what you get for using dummy graphics).
You can affect them by moving them 1/10th at one time. (For now, once every 5 years), and this huge change gives a few revolt checks and a stability hit. These settings affect everything from building costs to your diplomacy rating.
What do you mean about dynastic? We are not implementing any bloodlines code in EU2. Sorry.
As for events. Well.... suffice to say,.. You can script multiple choice events, to affect everything + much more than the old random events in EU1.
I wish I had more time to explain, but some of you guys will see when we announce a betatest.
