After watching past streams and Youtube videos about Eu4 I started to dream about it... Worse than that is the fact that I have no idea if I can run EU4 even with lowest possible setting (file editing) and in the end I can forward my money to steam to buy the game

Half of an academic year, usually refers to a university when used. So basically, the exact opposite of what it means in Swedish and other Scandinavian languages(? I don't speak more than two words of any of them, so I wouldn't know.)

College starts on the 22nd for me, so I should get a week of play in before I put my nose back to the grindstone (after getting completely wasted and then messing up my save game first 0.- ).

It could be argued that, in English, "academic year" and "vacation" mean essentially the same thing.

Apparently in swedish it does mean vacation, but in danish (and most likely also in Norwegian) atleast it means the same as in english.

Perhaps if you're a Freshman or Sophmore, as a Senior trying to get accepted to a Graduate program, not so much lol.
