Flowchart of Inventions

Before we get to the charts:
Some statistics that some may want to look at.

To find what tech level you should be at:
Formula = (X – 475) / 10
Take the year that you are at.

1. Minus 475 from year.
2. Divide the number by 10.
3. Round down.

To find tech level you want to achieve by a certain date:
Formula = X • 10 + 474

1. Take tech level that you want.
2. Times tech level by 10
3. Add 475

SOME VERY IMPORTANT NOTES

• I have made a mistake when I typed in Civilization. It shouldn’t be > but rather ≥.
• Certain Technologies are unlocked by specific flags that your country has. See before a particular flowchart to see what the flags are and how to acquire them.
• Black arrows mean that a invention is used to discover another one.
• Red arrows means that if you discover that invention, it cancels out a different invention.
• These flow charts are accurate for patch 1.2
• If I have made any error, please let me know. I apologize for the shear size, they didn't look this big at 70% zoom
• "*" means the effect of a invention. If there is no "*" it means the invention does not have an immediate effect.

Open or Closed Nobility
Civilization > 60
Civic Tech ≥ 9
Mean Time to Happen = 12 months

Construction​

Form or Functionality
Civilization > 60
Construction Tech ≥ 9
Mean Time to Happen = 12 Months

Land​

Hellenistic or Roman Warfare
Civilization > 60
Land Tech ≥ 13
Mean Time to Happen = 12 months

Naval​

Big Ships or Small Ships
Civilization > 60
Naval Tech ≥ 14
Number of Ports ≥ 1
Mean Time to Happen = 12 Months

Religious​

The tech system is a bit more indepth then I originally thought with the streams etc. Its one part of the modding I haven't looked at.

actually this statement is pretty close to the truth. All I have in my life right now is drivers ed and sport camps.

Anyways, any critiscm?

And I think it is possible for someone to write a strategy guide off of inventions and I do believe this would help tremendously.

When I first saw your charts I was more thinking along the lines of a huge tech revision mod. Unfortunately (for you guys) I do have a life, so If I do make it, it would take some time. Mostly for research and balance. (Actually writing it won't take too long at all once I have a plan.)
