You can already do it in the localization file, without breaking ironman. There's already a number of mods giving the correct name of countries.

How do I access the localisation files? I have a Mac.

Yeah, by the same token you should be naming Hungary 'Magyarország'. The majority of the playerbase would probably freak out and start oozing blood from all of their orifices at that.

No "cz" makes an English "ch" sound, or a German "tsch" sound.

Besides I think players would be scratching their heads at the mention of names like Gurkaniyan, Eranshahr Safaviyan, Qingchao/Zhongguo Diguo, Devlet-i-Aliyye Osmaniyye, and others that most people would freak out at after having been accustomed to English names.
