Sometime ago I noticed this in one of my vehicle assets I'm working on: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/bright-bands-over-specular-reflection.879904/

As seen below the floors are affected by changing the scale:

Using scale 1.0.

Using scale 6.0. More floors?

How does floor calculation work in the context of vehicles? Obviously we can't set floor parameters like in buildings, but the calculation in this case seems messed up.

I encountered the same problem, and therefore didn't find any info about this.
In my case rear part of articulated bus model has that floor stripe in the middle of the windows. It only appears if I import the model using any trailer as a base, but if I import rear part as any other self propelled vehicle there are no stripes. Basically it creates 3 floors instead of two.

I hope this bug will be fixed, by having ability to set floor count and height manually.

Indeed, same issue. Hope it will be fixed indeed, or at least be configurable, maybe through a mod.

Yay O405GN by the way!
