until now there are only 5 manufactory types (refin.,naval.,arts.,wepons., trade.) and I think there´s one, that should be included. with 100 years of gametime added, it would be nice to add flavour to the infrastructure tech lvls.
the "porceallaine manufactory" was one of the most important investments of the states during the late period of the game time span. easily - as german - manufcatories like "Nymphenburg" or "Meissen" (founded 1710) come to mind. they were historically quite important, as they
- had a high roi.
- decreased the demand for "chinaware", the single most valuable tradegood in eu1.
so they had quite a large impact on history, as the owners of the large asian centers of trade saw their profit dwindle.
proposed cost/effect
manufactory 1200d, lvl 8 infrastructure
effects: +18d in rocky or forested provinces
- 5% (or -10%) demand for chinaware.
on the other hand, the demand for chinaware could also be lowered by adding this effect to the trade goods manufactories.
another proposal would be the addition of universities (e.g. giving 5d to all tech, costing 1200d and lowering province income by 3d) as in the beginning of eu2 the foundation of universities was still in full swing.
