I love threads about regional or country specific flavor. I feel a thread aiming to contain all such would perhaps be a bit hard to follow for me however. Maybe this could act as the NI compilation thread (ie as a threrad that references and collect suggestions but aren't the main arena to discuss them as that's often done in separate threads)?
If you have the will for it this thread and the other could do well with an index with links to specific suggestions as well
As a general note:
Suggestion threads for flavor are useful for two things: We (well which one of us depends on the nature of the suggestion) read them to get ideas in general but we also go trawling for them when we are approaching a region/country/mechanic/etc that we are interested in doing something with.
For me (author of maps, events, etc) it has become a natural part of the routine when researching new things. It is with this in mind that I suggest the above
