Hi, these might have already been asked, or maybe even they're dumb, but i'm going in anyway.

1. Is there any future expectations/suggestions/requests for procedurally generated flashpoints, the same way the contract missions work now?

2. Is there any way to reset the flashpoints in the json files, possibly in a way to continually offer them or cause them to show up again in a period of time?

HBS has only just begun to use FLASHPOINTS. And of significance, HBS has released the FLASHPOINT Editor to us and our Modding Community. Give it some time and while they may not be procedurally generated, in other words our Modders will have to script them, but I believe we’ll be able to Mod and add quite a number of additionally high-quality FLASHPOINTS to our modded BATTLETECH gaming.

No word yet from the Modding Community that I know of when it comes to adjusting the periodicity of the current 13 non-Alliance FLASHPOINTS. :shrug:

While HBS has not mentioned that they would add additional FLASHPOINTS with this coming Summer BATTLETECH expansion URBAN WARFARE, with such talented storytellers in house like Andrew and Kiva, I certainly would hope that HBS takes advantage of the opportunity and includes not just Mechs and an Urban Biome but some Urban FLASHPOINTS too. : )

Thanks for the reply! Looking forward to seeing what the community comes up with. I'm sure someone will come up with a series of names/situations/groups that could be madlibbed into the format to keep us busy for years to come!

While I haven't heard of anyone digging into this yet, and I certainly haven't been doing so myself (other than briefly poking around in the flashpoint editor)... based on some of the comments during the prerelease streams... well...

I'm pretty sure that it is possible to have flashpoints that can recur and that consist of one or more procedural missions.

And yeah, I think madlib-style is very much on the table.
