Definitely the scorpion. Quads ftw. As we live in a world where people use words like possible, I would settle for the ost's. Just cause the urbie needs company.

I'd be happy with any/all of the mechs from the various editions of TRO3025, mostly I'd like to see what they would look like in the new style. I always went with mechs I liked the look of rather than their stats and some of those I passed over in the past actually look quite good now.

If I had to pick though, either the Dervish or the Vulcan, but in that case they need to keep the hunched over scarecrow look.

Whitworth 40t. 4/6/4 2xLRM10, 3xML. It is a nice change of pace, offering a solid missile platform between the Commando and Trebuchet.

I would also love to see the Dervish, but that is more of a personal preference as opposed to filling a gap in the line-up.
Definitely would love to see the Whitworth. 40 ton mediums seem to be missing entirely. Though to be fair most are... pretty bad, though some benefit significantly from the AC/5 love.

I’d like the Scorpion. I’ve gotten a surprising amount of mileage with it. Quads can go prone and stand up without a PSR (or with a roll that winds up being 2 or better - I forget). That lets you break LOS behind level 1 cover.

Besides quads, I’d like to see more of the unseen, as many of them have been favorites for years. I’d particularly like the Phoenix Hawk, as it is just a great balance of speed, armor, and firepower.

Since that isn’t likely any time soon, either, I’d like the Crab. Its 3025 variant has been a workhorse medium for me ever since it got retconned into wider availability.

EDIT: As a bonus, the Crab has a MWO model, so it could really happen.

I'm not going to bother mentioning the Mechs that PGI has modeled which aren't in the game as it goes without saying that this low hanging fruit should be harvested.

With that said, my list is the same as it was when we hit this a few weeks back on the old forum - in order of entirely subjective and irrational importance:

Wasp/Stinger (one or the other or both)
Whitworth
Valkyrie
Hatchetman
Crusader (if it can be made to look something like the [redacted] design)

My first desire would be to have the Phoenix Hawk in the game. I would also like to the Mongoose, Hermes (not the Hermes II, but I would like that too), and all of the Ost ‘Mechs.

For 3025 mechs? That's a tough one, since my favorites are already confirmed. Aside from the Raven, Marauder, and Warhammer (the first one having been all but confirmed post-launch, and the latter two I have a sneaking suspicion will be making appearances once a certain legal matter is resolved) I'm a big fan of the Dervish, and the Phoenix Hawk would make fun a fun addition, I think.

That lack of 6/9 40 Ton scout-mediums is brutal. You're stuck with the massively over engined Cicada on one end, and the Trooper 50-55 Ton mechs on the other. At first I hadn't realized how much I missed the 6/9 mediums, but man is that roll hard (or very expensive) to fill with anything else!

Do I have to pick one? Fine, I really want to see the Raven done right. It may not be the most effective (yet), but I want to see what HBS comes up with for the EWAR.

Although I do like the Flashman (and the 7K is surprisingly good for a tech downgrade), I think the Cataphract is surprisingly capable.
PPC, AC10, and 4x Med lasers
You, sir, have excellent taste. Even better, the Cataphract will be in the game!

Sadly neither the Clint or the Whitworth have been modeled by PGI for MWO. Because lights and mediums aren't as popular as heavies/assaults and IS (especially "old" IS) isn't as popular as clan stuff.

So unless HBS "In Success" decide to start making their own mech models, we may be left out in the cold for a nice 40 ton mech that isn't the Cicada.

And put me down as +1 for the Imp. While I loathe Wolf's Dragoons, the IMP 2E is a very different heavy assault and a massive pain in the rear to kill.

You sure you didn't mis-phrase that question and actually wanted to ask "which 20+ mechs would you like to be in the game"?
No?
I have to pick just a single one?

Oh boy.

Sorry Javelin, Assassin, Clint, Vulcan, Whitworth, Hatchetman, Dervish and Thug, but you heard the man.
So, leaving all of the above behind, I'll have to go with the Phoenix Hawk, as I have used it quite often as my character's ride and have very fond memories of it (and some hilarious ones - I won't go into details, but the story includes a running P-Hawk, a failed PSR, a collapsing building and hidden tanks  ).

Aye, that one was the first table-top mech I ever played in the late 80s. It was and still is my most beloved mech. It´s slow, under armored, has a paper-thin backside and severe heat-problems, but still...
This mech is so iconic, I can't believe it didn't make it. Instead we get the K2??? o_O I know, I know ...
It's also a shame we don't get arm-flips in the game ... one more thing for an potential dlc/expansion
By the way @SolahmaJoe posted some images of the modded-in mech in the old forum. It looked fantastic!:) ... Arrgh, I'm missing lot's of Smilies to express myself properly in this forum:rolleyes:
