It just means that flamer inflicts an extra five [EDIT: Heat] on your target.

EDIT: Sorry, that's an important noun I neglected to include.

Causes more heat gain on the enemy.
I've never seen one like that, but i'd definitely like half-a-dozen of them.

ok ive found several flamers with +5. what i dont know is what the H means. other flamers with the +5 damage dont have the H

just had a random idea.. most flamers do 5 dmg 10 heat.. this one does 5 dmg 15 heat. vs the ones with +5 doing 10 dmg 10 heat

I already told you.
The (H) means it deals extra HEAT damage to the enemy.
If it doesn't have (H) it deals extra ARMOR damage to the enemy.

As Juodas said, "H" means Heat Transfer. So you are literally causing heat-build up if it doesn't Miss on the target.

So on the Olympus it does 15 Base Heat Transfer, and the bonus to that is +5. So it does a total of 20 Heat Transfer on target.
