Flag shield gfx is not centered properly.

The flag shield gfx is not centered in the game. The big one in the top left by your ruler's portrait will look correct and beautiful, but it looks off-centered for the rest of the shields it is displayed in, whether it is the character screen, titles screen, army sprite or even map shield. Those are off-center, usually down to the right.

I imagine this has something to do with how CK2 determines to use the flags and centers the same image across different sized shields. Please look into this and ensure the flag gfx are centered properly everywhere they are used in game. It is a shame for such lovely flags to get cropped or looking horrid due to not being centered.

Can you supply a screenshot showing what you mean please? I myself have not noticed this.

Here is a screenshot with a quick flag graphic to better show what I mean. The tga file is just a yellow square with a green dot centered. In-game, it is displayed towards the bottom of the shields, not centered. Also, the top left shield (medium size?) looks to be down and to the right, while the bigger shield below it appears more left-right centered. The small shield under Titles is even more down and slightly to the right, a bit cropped even. The shield over the city gfx looks up-down centered, but slightly to the right. The soldier gfx is just down, but centered left-right.



Now, I can move my green circle up in the tga file so its more up-down centered, but this may mess up the centered look of the shield over the city, and the left-right problems will persist.

The vanilla c_cagliari flag gets the bottom part cropped in-game shields, as do some other vanilla flags, thought they look alright on the soldier tunics.

Hmm, what version are you running?

I am using 1.05g, Steam version.

Resolution is 1920 x 1080 on a 24" Dell monitor if that matters.
