Not very likely. That was an honorary flag given to regiments returning from service in France.
It's far more likely that the flag of the place where the new king hails from is used - such as the flag of Bern, which I already requested and got .

Of course, the very motion of Switzerland becoming a monarchy is far-fetched at best...

I understand that it is far-fetched, but it happens in the game. Swiss revolts and monarchy government is founded. The USA having a monarchy is far-fetched but they still get a flag incase that happens. I'd just like to have a bit of variety.
