XieChengnuo.. Your work is awesome! Now I am curious if you can add a more complex image.. Could you pls. somehow make this coats-of-arms to the Hungarian red-white-green tricolor background (or maybe just plainly so if that helps recognising it) ?

And another one, the flag of the 1848 revolution; since the 48 events are planned maybe we can use it (the triangles are of course all red and green on the sides):

Hey all! Hope you had a nice holiday. I made a couple Lord of the Rings flags for the now finished series. If you guys could find me some pictures of the Gondor flag that are taken from the movie, i'll do those too...

Of course it can be simplified as it wouldn't be visible at all - but the angels are important, and I'd like if they would held up the Holy Crown of St. Stephen in this way (so that could be even in the red section of the flag above all). The shield of Alsace-Lothringen (the Habsburg coats) in the very middle also not wanted, not that would be visible, but removing it helps clarifying the image. Below is a more clear version of the symbols of the coats-of-arms, without the Habsburg coats. And it's not urgent, so just finish it when you have the time . Happy New Year!

Well needless to say I prefer that complex variant as much as possible which I posted first If you noticed, it's something like the Habsburg eagle was for the Austrians in design. And I liiiiiike those golden coloured angels very much, also with that color they are visible in the white field of the flag too (these ones you posted became common in the 1920s, altough I don't recognise that symbolics next to the shield of Fiume in the bottom left). But I imagine it should look something like yours - The crown in the upper section, while the legs of the angels in the green section, so all this stuff does not need to fit in the white section only

I wondered if you could make me a shield and flag. It's gonna be just like the USA flag, exept the square were the stars are, instead of the stars I would like the New York flag

Oh, and another wish XieChengnuo if you can do it, if you restaurate the colors and symbols of the coats-of-arms in the way it's provided in the other images and remove the Alsace-Lothringen shield from the middle of it, could you also post the flag as large and detailed as possible ? We have some shops here which manufacture custom flags by sample, so I'm planning to make a real flag out of it, which I can use on national demonstrations 'coz this symbolics and the slogen which says "My confidence in the ancient virtue" is so cool Thx!

That's exatly how I want it on the game flag. Unfortunately, it's in flash format, so I can't save the image directly, but you could easily do that by using some screen-capturer program and then just some resizing needed to fit on the tricolor as it's almost in the right size already. I remember I also seen an even larger image of this than in my first post somewhere, I will try to locate that one too for the real flag.

Just a couple notes on your site (and a couple requests, which could be filled by anyone else...) -

The North America section of your site doesn't have all of the USA flags that were historically used in the game period - we went through a lot because of the number of stars. Specifically I missed the 48 star one (used after 1912) and the 30-36 star ones used during the 1850s-60s.

Also, the 15 star flag should have 15, not 13, stripes. Initial plans were to add both for new states; when they upped it to 16 stars they decided the stripes would wind up looking ridiculous and so fixed the number at 13 to represent the original states. The 15 star flag was in use during the second war against the UK (1812-1814) and is thus somewhat more recognized than most.

Also, (being that I'm into American Revolution stuffs) would it be possible to get the Continental Navy jack and the circular version of the 13-star flag done up? I can provide links to images as below....

If it's not too much to ask, 2 flags that will hopefully be used in VIP and/or other mods:

1-Peru-Bolivian Confederation

It's quite a bit ugly alright, but hopefully it looks better/darker in-game, like it has happened with other flags you've made.

2-Republic of (Greater) Colombia

And as for the second flag I'd like the red/blue/yellow colors to be more like the darker ones used in this flag here

Yeah, this is how i meant it to be because all of the flags for the other time periods should be on your Paradox CD, in the gfx/map/shields directory already.

if i'm not mistaken, it's south german federation or something.

This could all be cleared up if somebody sent me a screenshot of all the shields and flags shown in the game, so that I could provide you with the more up-to-date ones.
