Hi, In the new beta it is possible to make an even that changes a countries flags correct? I was wondering if it would be possible to make an event for England that changes their flag in 1700. If they own France/Scotland they would get the Union jack with the French fleur thingy :p

here is a shot of the flag Kaigon made it, Im just wondering would it be possible to make this event? If england controls Scotland and France in 1700 it would change its flag to this?

It is possible, though the accuracy would be the killer. For example you could make an event that kicks for England if they held ile de france (i.e. France's capital), so the event would kick if that were so. However, it would kick even if the rest of France belonged to some-one else, like Dakota! (very unlikely hehe). So you could add more french provinces as a trigger, but if england does not own ALL those in the trigger, it would not kick, even if they held the rest of france. UNLESS, you had a really intricate trigger that either kicked around 1700 when england owns x, y, z and paris OR something else

but in answer to your question, yes, it is possible to do. In fact the choices for each country are nearly infinite. In my mind I can see a whopping multitude for the HRE countries, as they annex each other which they ultimately do. So playing Bayern, you annex Pfalz (the Palatinate), event kicks in with BAY country with trigger owning pfalz, and shield changes to quartered shield of 'or' lion rampant on 'sable' field and the argent/azure diamond lozengy things :D (of course the ensuing matrix of events n triggers would be hellish - if country a owns b then event 1/shield 1, if country a owns b and c then event 2/shield 2 etc etc etc. hmmm would need sleepevent commands in there as well so if country a owns b, f, g, h then event 2 doesnt fire and ruin your jampacked shield when you annex country c!! EEK)

*feints at the thought of the complexity*

could someone help me write the event in question or is it too hard?

I want it to trigger when England Owns all of the Provinces that France can revolt from. And all of Scotlands Provinces in 1700. Its mostly for human players I dont see the AI Controlling all of France.
