Not necessarily. Paradox games have been changed a fair amount after release, so they could be changed much more in Beta. I don't think the flag system counts as a very deep mechanics/gameplay change. And for all we know, it could already be in. :)

I dnt think that viccy will be implicated into hoi2 as much as some people would all like. hoi2 is a war game (and thats hte way it should be/and what makes it so popular) viccy is more for empire building etc.

but the one thing that i think should be implicated is the flag sytem
???yes ??? no ??? i think we all agree.

oh and a beta is called that for that reason. thinks can be added to it to improve it thats why they have beta testers. so hoi2 being in a beta stage means that it can be changed to what we all want t doesnt mean that it has to stay the way it it (which after reading all the posts is the feel that some people have)

I really hope this will be implemented.

And to the "this game is already in beta" crowd: There are numerous examples of other Paradox games being improved after their original release, EU2 for example experienced some deep changed of its game mechanics, and new event commands have been added constantly, which is really the only thing needed to implement a flag change.

I'm taking a wild guess, but given the triangular diplomacy of HoI 1, I would say Fascist, Communist, and Democratic. :)

I know that but in HOI 1 there were three types of each like Left wing radical, Leninist ect.
