fixing the liberation of the arab federation

in an italy game my TC was overused. i wanted to liberate the largest amount of non annexed provinces and that turned out to be the arab federation.

after liberating it, theres 3 provinces that don't go to them: zaqazig, port said and As Suwayz. i don't think theres a reason for this, since these provices are right beside the arab federation capital (cairo) and would otherwise have gone to egypt if i had liberated egypt instead.

Are those the channel provinces? If so, then that migth have been the reasoning.

if you mean suez, yea, they are right next to it, although the arab federation gets Suez as a national province too. thats why i think they need fixing, it cant possibly be deliberate when the arab fed core provinces spans across that area (they get egypt, saudi arabia, iraq and all the rest of the ME as cores) and the three provinces above aren't included

Well, if you were the British Empire, and were to release the Arab Federation, you'd want to keep the Suez Canal.

Wouldn't that be true of any power that manages to occupy the land that the Arab Federation is made of?
