Doesnt excommunicated do that already?.

One idea i had was quite simple...make an event that fires very often which turns the all *muslim* *pagan* into *excommunicated*

Simple to do. I wonder if it will do what we want?.

I just tested this and it seems to work quite well everybody grabs muslim titles and wants to kill them. :)

Then you should post the event for all the folks waiting for it :p

lol its such a simple event i thought anybody could make it....

Code:
character_event = {
	id = 95400

	name = "Infidel !!!!"

	trigger = {
		condition = { type = religion value = pagan }
	}

	mean_time_to_happen = {
		months = 1
	}

	action_a = {#Pffff
		effect = { type = add_trait value = excommunicated }
	}
}

character_event = {
	id = 95401

	name = "Infidel !!!!"

	trigger = {
		condition = { type = religion value = moslem }
	}

	mean_time_to_happen = {
		months = 1
	}

	action_a = {#Pffff
		effect = { type = add_trait value = excommunicated }
	}
}

Something like this should do the trick.

You are a lazy one indeed but not lazy enough. :)

If was you truely lazy you would have trouble reading the topic let alone posting in it. :)

But i believe thats still enough for the lazy trait... and if my lazieness would be even greater, i believe i would be in danger to start starving and thirsting and finnally die, when not due to the just mentioned then because i´m to lazy to breathe ^^

Hmmm I see a few unintended consequences here to tossing out the Excom trait like it was candy. Like, screwing up the vassal-liege loyalty modifiers between pagans/muslims.

If you have an Excom/normal situation, they'll be a huge minus. Revolt will be imminent.

If both are Excom, you'll get a plus, they'll be ahistorically stable.

Inheritance patterns amongst the infidels will be wacky too. With a MMTH of one month only infants and children will be likely to inherit.

If you plan on using it, that would be the best, but i'd not because it screws up the inheritance laws a lot.

If you want normal mongols to have *golden horde* special abilities it will simply cause them to declare war on anybody and with no demise limit, no attrition they will cause lots of problems this is why my idea was to limit this to golden horde and kharnate.
Well anyway like i said just be aware that there some work to try to divide the horde over time into smaller groups, though it might not be by reducing the demense limit and they'd fight amongt themselves and other europeans.

hmmmm.... yes it's a bad thing...
we've got to find another thing to make claims against religious enemy cheaper than claim against people of the same religion....
damn I don't see any solution....

Not based on religion. I'm not sure, but i think bb will reduce it, but only at extrodinarly high numbers and that causes as much problems, albeit different ones, as using excommunicated.

I think the best way to go would be to script an event that would, from time to time, give someone fighting a religious enemy a free claim on them.

There is an event effect "add_title_claim value = [target char]" that might sorta work here.

Condtions, you need to be at war with religious enemies, and only religious enemies.

Then, the event effect with target char set to "random enemy" kicks in.

Not a perfect solution, but getting there...

I have made the following event, which does the job. Also If you add these few lines
effect = { type = declare_war value = crusade_target_owner }
effect = { type = add_title_claim value = random_enemy }
effect = { type = add_trait value = crusader }
to the official crusader_event.txt event file the AI will get claims and be able to wage war (mainly event #1920 but the 1185+ events could also do with it). Unfortunatley we are limited with these events to "add_title_claim value = random_enemy" I have not been able to add claims for specific titles, as this would have been ideal for the "Crusade to Jeruslem" event, i.e. granting a claim on c774.

first off, why must they be 16-50 and male? children, aged and women can grab claims as well.

Since this can happen to anoyone or almost anyone, not just catholics during crusades the mtth should be raised a lot. Plus it will only give you the highest level title of that random enemy. That means, if it fires for a count or equivalent, it could give king title that would be mostly ueseless to them since their at war and unlikely to conquer them.

Anyway some things i was wanting to know otherwise if you could add:

To expand upon your marriage mod chaste/lustful will still "save" under 16 (if you give it to them before this they will lose it in reloads)

I suppose it would be too hard to make it so women inherit after any males in your inherit mod?

and i really would like to know if you could give an exemption to mongols for the muslim claim mod.

Some additional stuff:

Also would it be possible to have the child's religion be based the same way as culture is now?

Also can you make it so children (those under 16) cannot inherit by (semi-)salic consanguinity (this is suppose to based on personal achievement if you can inherit and a newborn year old hasn't achieved anything, except crying.

It would be nice to add a new religion for Shiites as well, but i'm not sure that is possible.

Also theoritacally i know this is possible, but i don't know about if you can do it in your mod to add inheritance laws for: Ultimogeniture (youngest son inherits) (mostly for use with pagans), agnatic-matrilineal (where sons of daughters inherit first) (mostly for use with muslims) among others. Atleast though rename the laws in that mod so that they read lineal instead of salic.
