The game I sent last night doesn't work on my machine either. I must have messed up when I tried to assign the backpackai to tunisisa. Thank god for autosave.;-) The attached file works...and...I have not tried to assign the backpackai to tunisia in it.
Pls confirm that it works...and...then assign backpackai to tunisia before playing your turn....also....pls check my ai file to make sure I didn't mess that up too.
I don't think I'll ever open a game file again...grrr...that was a scary note to see here in MP.:-(

I messed up when I tried to change the 1454 file to have the tunisia ai be backpackai. It didn't work when I loaded it either (after getting Ludovico's note here).
the file I sent this morning is unedited and works on my machine. I just sent my backpackai file along with it....so...someone more knowledgeable than myself can fiddle with it. I asked Ludovico to since he goes next and seems to be a proficient editor.

Anyone else successfully load the second game file I sent out? I have neither seen nor heard Ludovico in the last 5 hours...so...I assume it is working okay and he is busy leading The Knights to greater glory...hmmmmm....hopefully he isn't sacking Carthage.

If for some strange reason, the turns slow down from the meteoric pace we have been seeting

Can I still have my slider adjustment though? There are so many things to improve with the North African sliders.

i believe backpack is off so i am going ahead... too bad macedonia is in naples' hands (how did that happen?)
is anyone one of you interested in a two player pbem? i had the idea for a while, and notice others starting it up. thought i might give it a try as well... and would prefer a player i know/can trust

I am off to the mountains for a mini vacation... this shouldn't break the time limit (except possibly by a few hours), as I will be back wednesday. But I might be shaving it kind of close, so I thought I'd let you guys know I intend to play my turn on wednesday so there is no guessing. if I am eliminated, it might be good to start a discussion on the allowable countries... this might also be the case if i am reduced to one or two provinces... my bboy is around 70, and i tried booting up a savegame and got 4 dows. i might not be technically dead, but i may be out of gas

Thanks for the heads up. I have a sneaking suspicion though that the Knights will still be around. Tunisia should be the one to suffer the rath of Savoy. Have fun on your vacation.
