OOC: I Sent Duritz an E-mail Addy, apologies for the time,
I just finally checked back here.
From the Office of:
Sir A. Montgomery-Massingberd
To: Chiefs of the Armed Forces
First off, I hope you are all well.
Now then, down to business. I've been informed of some building tensions between the various Arms of our Forces, and I must admit, I am displeased with the news. Let me make this clear now incase my stance on any tensions has been missing before now. All high Ranking member's of our armed forces are
strongly encouraged to work in cooperation with each other. Naturally some tension is unavoidable, however it should not interfere with the smooth working of the British Empire towards its set goals.
Although I shouldn't need to, I will remind you what these goals we are working towards would be, in case you have lost sight of that in the past few weeks.
A. The successful defense of our toehold on the continent, and with this, the defense of our ally France.
B. The Protection of British Assets, both at home and abroad. This includes Africa and Asian Assets.
C. The Strengthening of the Commonwealth as a whole.
D. Maintaining the balance of power in the world.
E. Protection of all British Citizens.
F. The possible expansion of British Assets in various parts of the world.
Of course, these goals are subject to change depending on the circumstances of the time, however you should keep all of them in mind for the moment and work in cooperation with your fellow armed force members to achieve them for the glory of the Empire.
At the moment, it is my opinion that all three armed forces are needed. However, we do need a strong navy to protect our vital trade lanes, and a strong army to protect our colonial assets abroad. Whereas our Airforce is needed for the protection of the Home Islands, and to assist our ground forces where able. Therefore the Chief of the Airforce and the Chief of the Army should take extra care to work in coordination with each other to best compliment the abilities of both arms.
Any complaints should be directed to my office as soon as is convient for you, and will be handled in the order recieved.
Long Live the British Empire.
