I whipped this up today. It's a simple modification of the Dyson Sphere, using the same graphics and everything. All this megastructure does (apart from cool down its home system at the final stage) is contribute to the construction of other Megastructures.
It's ugly-yet-functional right now, and builds for free for testing purposes. At the moment, it drops build time for megastructures down to 40% but does not affect cost. Right now it's also an empire unique, although I guess if someone wanted to build two of them (and the bonus turns out to stack - I don't know for sure if it would) I don't see a huge reason to stop them. Also, it still appears in the build list even when it's finished - your ship just aborts attempts to construct it.
My next big problem, though? I have NO idea how to apply tooltips or description to this mod. It's honestly probably a miracle that I've gotten this far.
And, of course, my final problem is that once that's done, I'm not certain what else I might be missing. Feel free to chime in with suggestions and recommendations before this gets published to the Steam workshop - which is unlikely to happen today or tomorrow, but will meander its way there eventually.
