First play in a while, any newer guides/tutorials/general info

I've not played C:S in a long while, but I am in the mood to start playing again in the hopes that I can build a decent city.

I realise since my last play of the game there will be a lot of updates and features (just base game since I don't own DLC), and since I'm still a novice (Even with 50 odd hours of playtime according to steam) I was wondering of there is any guide/tutorials/general info to help me get back into the game.
I don't want to spend ages playing around with temp cities just to figure things out again, and well I could load up something on my laptop to read/view as I build my city on my desktop PC.

Hi,

Check the steam's community guides section, and choose what subject you want explore more deeply. There's about 80 guides in english on steam about gameplay, so you'll probably find the one you need.
