3. Edit the game to make all countries releasable at the start of the game, then release every country imaginable and break those relationships; then load as someone like Greece and see how the world ends up.

I did this in vicky1 but after some 20-30 releases or so the game would not load any more. But the Idea still is great, a swarm of small nations to get a ahistorical mid/endgame

Yeah, you could actually in the original game, at least with VIP-mod, create such things. I made USA become fascist once because people voted for the Silver Legion after they all had become poor soldiers. :rofl:

1. China (my Victoria 1 favourite!)
2. Sweden (peaceful, but has potential...)
3. Russia (since I no longer have to control every single POP)
4. Prussia (trying to unite Germany is a must to every player anyway...)
5. USCA (I love this country even I have never managed to keep it alive more than a decade or two)

I'd think that world domination as those puny powers would be nice, like Krakow, Greece, Serbia, Denmark (less puny, but angry neighbours), Annam...

actually I'd think that Annam would be interesting once civilized, they have got hell lots of population.

The France in my AAR is facist enough That's nothing very special.

Not saying it will be anything special, but should prove alot more fun now that nations can get new names and flags (IIRC from DDs) if they have fascist or communist revolutions.

Should also be a bit more fun to deliberately mold nations now that you can slowly sway pops into classes more friendly to your Ideology off choice and then piss them off to trigger revolutions ^^

I think that Prussia would be hard to learn with but unifying germany is sweet. Also USA cause, well, 'merica rocks man!!! I've heard belgium is pretty easy to start with. Anyone know why that is?

They're definitely the easiest game in Vicky 1, so they'll probably be equally as easy in Vicky2. Good way to get the ropes. That and Brazil's a beast. Gotta love Latin American dictatorships.
