I just played my first MP game yesterday. I actually took over France at the end of 1939, and we played until march 1937. We were playing on slow, because there was some action goign and and there were 8 of us playing the game.

I loved it, even if I believe I screwed up some things (my allies did too, so I dont feel as bad). I have some comments:

- The axis started rampaging through europe, but carefully avoiding Poland...Yugoslavia, Romania, Portugal were under attack, but Allies WE was still very low (15 for me, something like 8 for UK...USA as still at 1%). Somebody mentionned that this was because Italy was DOWing, not Germany. It still sounds like an exploit, but really: why tie the allies hand so much? Europe is in flames, but we can't even react!

I had to join the fray when SU and Germany went to War, or else I would have faced Germany alone 4 months after that and France sure wasnt ready. I had lots of fun asaulting Italy with UK, but we never made headway as we were fairly disorganized.

USA couldn't send exp. forces at all, nor declare war, nor anything. bug? How does USA's WE work exactly?

At one point, Italy decided to counter attack. His method: Give exp forces to RepSpain (which was far from fascist), walk them through Rep Spain to France's undefended borders, and then invade France by reclaimng his exp. forces. MAJOR exploit, why would Rep Spain accept to march Italian troop through his territory while a democratic nation?

Still, MP is tons of fun, alot more thinking and coordinating to do. I have to say I loved the game, I wish I had played it from the start though, because when I came in France was building 8 planes (???) and had hardly any defenses up. But they had TONS of supplies in reserve...

Ah, the players that love the exploits. Guardian comes to mind as a great example of this (wAARmongers people will know what I'm talking about). I hate players that use exploits like that exp force one. What fun is that? DieFledermas said the other day that if we used all of the exploits that we knew, we could win every time, but what fun is winning that way??

I personally think that the Italy DOWing for Germany is also an exploit, because of its effect on WE. I think that if Germany takes most of the land, Germany has to DOW, and the same for Italy.
