I´m currently playing the first mission.
Taking and holding the port was no problem, occupying the siege points neither.
After breaking a few holes in the wall with the Trebuchet and 1 catapult a few Saracen Swordsmen made a sortie and were moved down by my archers.
Until that point I only lost 5 men.
However after entering the city of acre losses are staggering. Despite the bastions shattered on the whole length of the wall on the side of the hill, my men are taking damage from arrows. And that despite I don´t see any archers except 1 unit left in the extreme corner of the town.
One of my archer units went from 38 to 2 in a very short time which I though was out of range of that enemy archer.
Am I missing something here? Do the city buildings shoot arrows like bastions?
Edit: At the end I won while losing 1 archer unit. However I don´t understand the mission summary. According to the mission summary the Saracens had 6 units left - but I saw not a single unit. Or do bastions in the wall count as units?
