First impressions

About 2 hours in.. the new patch feels really, really good. Everything is quite smooth and lots of little defects that you almost forgot about are fixed (e.g. bouncing armies). Nice work, Paradox. And so nice with the alliances.. Can't even notice the saving in ironman.

Absolutely agree. The game is back on my play list and Paradox back on my I will buy your stuff and trust you list.

Just having the game speed increased has made me want to play CK2 again now, as that always put me off, that after a 100 years the game would just come to a crawl. Where at the start I am doing years down from 40 to 22 seconds, so when I get to the late game slow down, it should still be playable. And hopefully the plague will kill off enough people to get the game to continue to run fast.

What start date/who do you play as?

The CM and ToG might run smoothly but game balance is worse then ever.

Cant comment on the other dates.

Blobs are infinitely stronger, Ummayblob and Abbablob eat up everything and even succesful decadence/shia events only slow the swarm for a bit.
