Okay, I started my first match as Vassal of the Shimazu Clan. A few things:

1. I really wonder, how the other Lords can have so large retinues. They have five and more units, while I can hardly finance two. On the other hand the Clan experiences a 2% revolt risk, because it can`t pay for its levies, although nobody did raise them as far as I can tell. Weird.

2. A part of the Clan declared its independence as Hongo-Clan. In the ongoing war we are numerically superior, but instead of sieging one of the enemy castles, our armies are marching back and forth through the contested provinces.

3. The soundtrack is lacking in variety. I don`t demand something compared to EU2 :)wub:), but some more tracks would be fine.

4. Probably already reported, but when I load my game, the game "forgot", that my Character already has a heir.

As a vassal I usually build a pure cavalry retinue. This way I can get to the enemy province first and steal the siege. And don't be afraid to go over your retinue limit as long as you can afford the expense.

There is definitely something going on with the tactical AI. It can sometime take some time before it decides to engage the enemy.
