If you want to practice your reading skills in Dutch: have a look.
http://www.gamespot.nl/Preview.cfm?id=126&kind=pc

The game gets a pretty good judgement.
It's a reasonable review, although also somewhat inaccurate, but certainly has no negative impact.

People interested in the genre, would certainly look for more info if they read it.

I'm afraid I have no idea whether this site has a large hitrate.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the dutch preview is a translation of the english preview which can be found on www.gamespot.com ;
however it is a site which contains many hits
So perhaps some dutch (P)reviewers will notice it and starts some (P)reviewing of there own. :)

Sorry guys,

Just wrote an email message to the dutch publisher asking them if they could maybe put just a tiny little bit of effort into marketing their product.
Sofar, their own website is absolutely dead (hasn't changed in about 6 months) and there's still not a single online shop in Holland where you can order the game, it's a little surrealistic.

Any way, here goes, in dutch (should be ok if you read afrikaans as well, Great Me :D )

Hallo,

vriendelijke groet, Paul Vermaas

They answered my email, wow!
in dutch ofcourse, and I won't put you through reading anymore language you can't understand by posting it here.

Essentially they apologize for the somewhat messy release effort sofar, said that review copies will be sent to magazines and game sites this week.
A couple of big advertisements will be placed in gaming magazines.
They're working on a new website,

Most surprizing news is that the game will be sold at a rather low price.
Don't know if that makes me happy though.

Hmm, How much is it being sold for? Maybe I'll fly to Holland if it means saving a few dollars! :D

Crusader,

Sorry, no, and I forgot to ask.
you can always drop them an email yourself ofcourse, at vincent@hdinteractive.nl

KRonn, just 22,70 Euro, or a little over 21 US$. Probably to compensate for the high gasoline prices over here? :D

Well I hope the marketing of this game will be really well; allthough the cheap price doesn't comfort me alot.

(it is reminding me of a2 racer :eek :)

Personally I believe making software cheaper isn't making copying less likely, because there will always be copying, because it always remains cheaper, it doesn't matter how much cheaper. Secondly the profits will go down for Paradox, for I believe it doesn't stimulate sales to such an account that the price reduction will be overcome, so it is a bad judgement
